Mon Dieu! Bring it on y'all!

I'm going to have to track him down. I don't collect that scale, but really like what they did with him. I really like the way the edges on the coat are done.

The only thing I'm not a fan of is that multi card effect. I know what they are going for. I just don't think it accomplishes it.

The minimate one is more what is should be with the hand at one end of the sweep (http://tvandfilmtoys.com/index.php/2011/02/gambit-psylocke-minimates/) I'd have rather seen a version held between his two hands with cards flying you in between them. Or a single card much farther out.

Great Review!

(Thanks for the shoutout!)

As good as it gets for a guy who wears pink. It's Raj that can't stand Gambit which I assume is because he's a bad parody of the folks that live in Raj's neighbourhood.

Nice one Andy!

Well, I have to say, I was sold on this figure the minute it was announced.

At the time of Gambit's creation I was a full on X-head. I had been reading them for a decade at that point. Having lost all of "my" X-Men over the course of time (Colossus, Nightcrawler) Gambit seemed likable enough to fill that spot for me for a few years.

This is THE best Gambit figure ever in terms of sculpt, articulation and paint. As a stand alone purchase or as part of a MS collection, this is a "CAN'T GO WRONG" toy.

Isn't his head a little too big? It looks kinda odd to me, don't know why...

I don't think so. It looks fine in person.

It really is a stunningly made reminder of a very bad costume.

I think it's a real shame they ditched the idea of Gambit being the other Summers brother. That would have been way more interesting than throwing it away on a wanker like Vulcan.

It was also meant to be Adam-X for a while but I think Fabian Nicieza got the arse before he could explore it more.

I'm really surprised there wasn't more drama here.

Either raj never found this or he's being a conscientious objector.  Wink

In other news, I have tracked down a Sideshow PF Gambit at a reasonable-ish price to go with my Rogue PF when it comes. Seriously.

P.S. - like your new Avatar Eng!

The Sideshow Kool-Aid is delicious, but pricey. I have the SDCC Doctor Doom and love it. I had ordered the SDCC Hellboy and Snake Eyes and then we found out my wife was pregnant with our son. So I did the responsible thing and cancelled them. Hopefully I can track down that HB statue, as I thought that was pretty sweet. What is scaring me is the announcement that they will be doing DCU stuff. I think I'm going to just have to admire others collections from afar.
