Not a great bunch of answers this time around. Ah well - win some / lose some.

Also FB - see, I knew that playsets questions had been used - it was us! Doh!

Check it here: http://www.actionfigureblues.com/2011/12/afb-asks-matty-for-1-dec-2011.html

Yeah, that was pretty sad, straight out of the generic answers handbook. It can't be the same person answering the questions everytime, the differences in the way answers are given are noticeable.Disappointing but as always thanks for the effort Andy.

I actually didn't think those answers were too bad.

'Most' retail waves will be around 4 figures. Clear answer. They asked something similar over at the 'Mess and got a vague answer. I like the clarification on the vehicles and playsets (boo) and the repaints/reissues (yay)

Yes, it was at least good to hear that there won't be many reissues in All Stars.

The only answer I was totally disappointed with was the Voltron one - it didn't seemed like they got what were asking at all.  cuckoo.gif

Guess i'm looking at it a bit differently, maybe cause i don't really have any sort of real investment in DCUC.

Each mix will be around 4 figures, but some mixes may have more or less.  To me sounds like,we don't really know how the hell we're gonna mash this together in 2012

This is an awesome idea, but is not a part of the 2012 offering at retail.  Again this sounds to me like we're really sick of this question so we'll throw a little hope your way but nothing's actually gonna happen.

Just too generic and sounding like they're just spewing out what you want to hear in a non-committal form.Sorry to sound so cynical but i've never been good at dealing with"spin".

It's weird.

Normally you can find out that a 'wave' is about to hit retail. But it sounds like Mattel are just gonna dump these out. When you've got a fanboy buying base eager for figures I don't quite understand the logic? Maybe their prediction for this method is that we'll trawl the aisles a lot more often in the hope there's new stuff?

Yeah interesting thoughts there mate, they really need to try harder to keep the interest up though as people are gonna drop them if they keep up with the shenanigans.
I still believe they really have no clear idea/plan at all of what they're gonna do next year.
