I'm up to looking at the Poison Ivy edition of the Cover Girls Statue series. I really like it, but it has some disappointing aspects in the QC department.

Check it out at: http://www.actionfigureblues.com/2011/04/dc-direct-gives-afb-poison-ivy-cover.html

Enjoy!

Yup, same paint issues for me.

Good review Andy and I agree with your thoughts about the green skin.

To repeat what I think I've said for every one of the Cover Girls statues: I likes it, I wants it, I'll try to get one cheap someday.  Harley is my favorite by far, by Poison Ivy ranks up in the top 5 if not the top 3.

Yep,nothing original here to say either as i agree that her skin should never have become Green.Shame about the paint because that is one purdy Statue of the best look Ivy has ever had IMO.Hell of a line!

Supergirl is the next in line for the Cover Girls series, and while I do have a minor niggle with it, she carried the line on nicely.

Check her out at http://www.actionfigureblues.com/2011/05/supergirl-breaks-into-dc-direct-cover.html

Enjoy!

I just want to say (again) that I'm jealous of you having all these statues, they look fantastic, and I wish I could afford to get more of them.

She's a fantastic addition to the line. I'm not a big fan of names on bases, so she's even better for that. Re: Batgirl, you'll give in. You know it, I know it, Batgirl knows it. Fun review Andy!

Having said that, the armoured Wonder Woman is the first in the series I'll be skipping so I shan't have a complete series either  think.gif

Nice, but not my fave. The pose is excellent and dynamic but the Face Sculpt is just not as high a standard as previous offerings and let's it down just that little bit.Kinda what you said mate.Congrats.
