Title: Four Horsemen Mythic Legions
Post by: Josey Wales on February 05, 2015, 01:06:41 am
Don't know how many of y'all remember these from SDCC,  but the Horsemen had planned on 4" for them. However, after the success of the Ravens, they've decided to go with 6" for these as well. To refresh your memories-

http://mythiclegions.com/characters/

Kickstarter is supposed to go live within the next week. I'm hoping to get in for the barbarian and the dwarves at least. Hoping that the stretch goals can bring some more selection. I'd love an elf & a rogue/thief type.  [rock]

Hell....I was already 'in' for at least a couple of these, but now?  Definitely!!!  Perfect line to accompany MOTU, but be much less homoerotic.

Did those bird figures they made ever come out?  How the hell do you even buy these kickstarter figures?

Did those bird figures they made ever come out?

Aye, they did. You can probably still get some from the Horsemen online store.

How the hell do you even buy these kickstarter figures?

You go to Kickstarter, find the project, pledge cash, hope it reaches funding stage, if it does then await your loot.

They came out. I bought one from the four horsemen website. I am still waiting on its arrival. I have contacted them twice about it. I have not been happy with the customer service but I am holding out hope.

I ended up with an extra eagle if anyone wants him. I might sell the Cardinal I got too.

I'll see what I get from the Mystic guys. Very very tempting.

Kickstarter is live-

I'd love to own all those fuckin dwarves, the King, the barbarian, & the Black & White Knights. But I'll probably only be able to pledge for one knight & hope I can score the other from the store.

Cripes! US$68 for a deluxe figure for international. That's A$88 at the current exchange.

I like the idea of the army builder pack. Adding on 6 skeletons for US$105 is pretty good.

Also $170,000 stretch goals to be announced.

Damn....the Horsemen are just frigging awesome.

Yea, there has been an outcry for elves, thieves, rogues, rangers, & mages from the start. I'm right there with ya. They have some cool stuff, but due to budget, I'm sticking with a small band of heroes. This is what I'm going with-

The Knight
(http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y214/dcsouth/84b97ab89b365f1be06647711608db87_large.png)

The Dwarf
(http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y214/dcsouth/19a46cfc44c827d504d47fff4ffd7930_large.png)

The Soldier
(http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y214/dcsouth/f810a51201875f908906453365589e74_large.png)

The Minotaur
(http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y214/dcsouth/66f14aa7f8d802a8b7710f8416fa9752_large.png)

I'm tempted by the KS exclusive because it's cheaper, but I only have enough for one more, so I'm waiting to decide. The Horsemen have talked about both Warduke & Death Dealer "tribute" figures  [thud], so I'm anxiously awaiting the next update.

RANGERS??  Oh Hell yeah!!!  I'm all over a Ranger, and probably a nice Elf Archer type, too.  Thank you very much for the info!

Okay, most people know about my army building fixation, but the cost even with the sets was just too prohibitive if I wanted any characters to go with the legions. So I decided to pass on them and focus on the cool individuals.

But which to get? In the end I decided to get a unique figure from each race, so a human (knight), a dwarf, and orc, etc. But then there's some cool ass extras I couldn't pass on like the Minotaur, the Vampire Bat dude....and of course the Barbarian. I went with a couple of the weapon packs too.....though it annoyed me that the Death Dealer style axe was in pack #4 and cost $50 so I passed.

Here's my stash....

From an International shipping perspective, definitely not worth it for a single figure, but the add-ons are quite reasonable, for example only $5 difference between US and International for the Barbarian Builder Set  [thumbs up]

I like what you did there, Fish!  [thumbs up]
Imho Malleus is by far the best skeleton. Straight up badass.
Vitus reminds me of Thallo from my old Clash of the Titans figures.  [rock]
Attila reminds me of Jaime Lannister, he'd hafta be a villain on my shelf. We had stag horns, dragon/bat wings, & a lion, but no wolves.  ??? I might've gone a completely different direction if it had been otherwise.
I hope I can score the bad guys next year. Those Orcs all turned out great. The good guy thing was something I couldn't pass on. I did add the KS exclusive dwarf. I like how his color scheme matches Sir Ignatius. Gonna do some part swapping with the belts, faulds, loin armor, & pauldrons to give Ignatius some more color.

So now begins the long ass wait. :D I've been brainstorming on the bad guys to fight my band of heroes. I basically did the one of each thing, sorta. This is what I'll be trying to score during preorders next year-
Fanex
Attlus
Urzokk
Malleus
Bog Goblin
Gorgo

Fanex, Attlus, & Urzokk will be giving up parts. This is what I plan to make

Warduke-gonna add some paint
(http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y214/dcsouth/0E7BBYX.png)

Death Dealer
(http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y214/dcsouth/3ff7f7308a63e961eca072aa5d2cf7c8_large-1.png)

Blood Orc General-non-striped head tho.

Armored Viking for the good guys w/ bigass horns
(http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y214/dcsouth/ArmoredViking_zps27aotaul.png)

That'll give me 6 & 6, until wave 2.  ;D

That's some sweet ideas Josey.

So the pre-orders will be from the website and features leftover figures from the first manufacturing run? When do they make those available? If it's not for awhile, then I'd be tempted to get more.

I wonder if I could make a Heimdall?

Title: Re: Four Horsemen Mythic Legions will be 6" scale!
Post by: Josey Wales on March 12, 2015, 09:44:12 pm
From what I understand, the preorders will be offered when the original run is on the way. They ship after KS pledges. Seems they base extras on the numbers ordered. More purchases, more extras. They did say that if figures didn't do well in the KS, they probably wouldn't be sold at the store. Purely speculation, but folks are thinking the Ravens backerkit was live for a month, we might get the same here. If I could get that long, I'd have very little left to preorder.

I borrowed most of those ideas. The Blood Orc & the Ignatius armor swap are Outlaw Original Recipes. Lol
Lemme know what you come up with for Heimdall. I'd love to see it.

At the risk of sounding like a complete and total idiot, I'm going to ask a question that I know you guys can answer:  OK, these things look awesome.  As a non-donator, can I somehow buy any of these figures, and roughly, what might one cost me?  Will it be impossible for me or somebody like me to buy one from eBay?  Do they only make what donations will pay for?

I cannot lie....I don't fully understand KickStarter, but I was always too embarrassed to admit it.  Well fuck it...I'm no rocket scientist.

But you're sexy as he'll 'Sac and we love you!

Think of Kickstarter as a preorder. You've paid your money and now you wait. The only difference is that with a Kickstarter, they need a certain number of committed preorders to go ahead with manufacturing. These guys needed $140k to make this viable. They got over $300k in preorders.

I suspect with that much cash they can get unit costs reduced so this is where additional stock will probably be made available via their web store. Will they have all figures available? Dunno? Will the cost per fig be more? Dunno?

The 4H stuff is notoriously hard to come by on the secondary market such as ebay. I'm sure Josey or someone will let us know when they go up on their site.

Everything you said made perfect sense, and I suppose I understood it a bit better than what I thought I did.

Truth be told, these things are looking so damned awesome that I would be satisfied with solid plastic figurines.  It's possible that I may never own any, but it's no biggie.  One thing I've learned over the past 10 years is that A) Patience is your friend, B) You may not get a certain figure you want, but another, totally unexpected figure is right around the corner, and C) You just never know what might happen!

Thank you again!

I'll keep you in the loop,  mi amigo! I think Fish has the gist of it. As far as price, Ravens were about the same as Kickstarter prices, so around $33 a pop.

I truly appreciate that, DUSTY!  You too, FISH!

I'm cool now, but once they start revealing RANGERS, ELVES, and stuff like that, I will be a full-on, whiney bitch.  There's no sense in lying about it.  Hmmm...I wonder if they'll sell any unpainted ones for cheaper?

Given the stupendous amount of cash they got for this project, I bet they're already talking about round 2. In addition to the stuff you mentioned above, I want the full D&D feel, Thieves....sorry, "Rogues".....Clerics, Wizards and female versions too.

Well, the backer for the Kickstarter has finally closed. Thanks to some abundant overtime, I was able to score almost everything I wanted. My 6 & 6 turned into 7 & 7. Then I found this badass axe on shapeway.

It reminded me of a character that I used to draw as a young'un & pretend to be. He was a Knight in Shining Armor/Conan/Thundarr/He-Man type with a lightning axe that was a blatant Mjolnir ripoff. So I decided I wanted to customize a Paladin to wield the axe. So I added Gideon. I already liked Otho & started thinking how cool the armor bits for him & Gideon would look swapped out. So I added Otho. I think I'll keep Otho as is with the Gideon parts. Gideon will probably be getting a Cena or Orton head. Gotta have the military haircut tho. Added Weapons packs 1-3 & the book. So I wound up with-
Bothar
Ignatius
Vitus
Asterionn
Valgard
Urzokk-Viking
Bronze Dwarf-Attlus head & extra barbarian armor

Attlus-Warduke
Barbarian-Death Dealer
Fanex-Urzokk head
Gorgo
Malleus
Bog Goblin
Orc Trooper

Gideon
Otho
Weapons packs 1-3

Now it's gonna be a long ass wait.  [impatient]

And sadly will still be online only. Thats too bad cause i would love to get these and motuc but unless i see the actual figs ( and have a physical location to return a damaged or defective item and not have to wait as long as one does when dealing with online services ) i tend not to buy. Shames too cause these figs look great.

Well, preorders go up a lot sooner than expected. They will be available at Store Horsemen from May 1-11. I was hoping for a little more recovery time. Two days after Backerkit SDCC exclusives go up. Now preorders ending a month after Backerkit. I guess Ravens 2 will start May 13.  :D

Not surprising to see interest in this line here too! ;D

In keeping with my Skeleton-fixation of the past (nearly) 12 months! :P, I pledged for:
1x Standard Skeleton
1x Tibius
1x Malleus

...I also grabbed an Attlus for my Younger Brother (Along with 2 Weapons Packs) and was tempted to grab 1 each of the other Skeletons but unfortunately my pool of funds dried at the time the Backerkit was in play. :-\

I, like a number of others I've discussed this line with, had hoped this'd stick with the 4"-Scale it was originally toted as being, and although I was disappointed with the announcement it was shifting to 6" Scale (ala MOTUC), because I wanted these to bolster my OT: Skeleton Warriors - Baron Dark's ranks, I've since resolved that the 3x Skeletons I'm getting will simply be a trio of Giants that the dear Baron has subsequently "Skeletonised" in his ongoing battle with the rest of my Toy collection! :D

Nice pick-up Hurst!!!

What's a shame about this line, being so awesome and all, is that you literally have a small window of opportunity to buy these and then you'll never see them again (except on ebay for $200 each)

The Crusader is a definite buy, was planning on giving Gideon & Otho sigils too. I'll probably try to get the viking zombie just for the Death Dealer axe. Tempted by the Man at Arms homage but I'll hafta skip. Gladiator skeleton is nice, but no interest for me. I love that green troll but it's probably outta my price range.

After seeing the new reveals, I went & looked at the 1st series again & am definitely getting anxious to get them.  O0

Yeah, the price on those trolls, plus the exchange rate, has put me out of the running for them. I like the warthog warrior tho.

$100 is probably reasonable for a figure that big from a niche company. But throw in the exchange rate and the international shipping and I'm unlikely to bite.

I could be wrong, but the Mythic Legion figures look like blisters on cardboard. Disappointing.

Me too. This toy line got me as excited as I got when I saw the first commercial for Gi joe in the early 80s.

I plan on changing a few things. I need to make a strong heart by mixing up a couple figs. I got the test shot dwarf and it is sic.

Welcome Sage lion! Where you at in the High Desert, bro? I was in 29 Palms for a while way back in the 90s. Good times!

I got Otho & Gideon just to bash a Strongheart. The gold knight will be donating his plume as well. Been working on an unmasked head for the gold knight as well. Still need to hollow it out a little more, but I like the "Prince Charming" vibe it gives the figure.

I'm in Apple Valley. Home of Roy Roger's and a bunch of mythic legions figs soon.

Yes. Otherwise and Gideon. Exactly. Scapula is that pic skeleton tsr made back in the day

I was talking to the guys and they are really hyped about the line and talking female figs and other cultures, etc.

These were the figs I would have given my baby brother for as a kid.

Sagelion- Never made it any further than Pioneer Town in that direction. I kept getting stuck in a bar, lol.

I'm with you, Fish. Too many good ones to choose from. Not counting the Warduke, Death Dealer, & Strongheart bashes, my top 3 is Bothar, Ignatius, & Asterionn, in no particular order.I really like Vitus too. Reminds me of this guy, who was one of my faves as a kid-

Oh yes, clash of the titans line. Vitus is one that caught me off guard. I love the look. I picked up the ornaments steelhide test shot and he is amazing. I play with him all the time so I'm looking forward to him as well.

I am waiting to see the paint job on Bob Goblin. I say it at Wondercon a year or so ago and the paint was amazing.

Although I must admit, I'm a suckered for Dwarves. There is some point in one's life that they associate with some fantasy character and I fought it, but the Dwarves had me.

I think I got my dad into these as well. He seemed to get excited about the birds though.

I am getting antsy for my delivery.

I ordered the trolls as well, any idea when they will be available?

I am 45 years old and I love this feeling. Sometime I'll tell you all about my favorite action figure memory.

Pioneer Town is nifty. We have friends that live there. Big fires ran through awhile back and destroyed almost everything. It is rebuilding though.

Pax

It would seem kind of logical for a company called Four Horsemen but ... any idea if they're planning to do horses for this line? All I really need is a plain one, a feather winged one, a bat winged one ...

And some centaurs

JQ, the Horsemen have said from early on that mounts would be coming. Just no clarification as to when.

Finally got my shipping notification yesterday. No movement yet, but I can deal with them being badass toymakers & not a badass shipping company.  :D

JQ, the Horsemen have said from early on that mounts would be coming. Just no clarification as to when.

I thought about joining the forums just to ask for horses and centaurs, but someone else did exactly that two days ago. I'd hate to jump on the bandwagon!

I just hope they make them with removable saddles, armor, etc. for easy customizing.

Better double up on the side jobs, fellas.  :D Teaser pic for Wave 1.75-

Black Knight & Knight builder are confirmed. Looks also to be a Forest Knight, & possibly gitd skull. Horsemen have also talked about a corrupted knight, but I'm not sure if it & black knight are the same or two different figures.

Fish, the fanex was available in the KS & both preorders. I believe he was the best-selling, so he'll probably be available again in the all star wave.  [thumbs up]

Templar legion builder from wave 1.75-

Thanks Dusty. Perhaps since I'd already spent my quota I tried to ignore the rest so I wasn't sucked into debt.  :D

That Templar looks good, but it's horribly inaccurate. The Templar knights were long gone before full plate armour came into popular use. Not sure why any of these figures are called "Builders" either. Those prices  :-\

I should have my Kickstarter package today hopefully.

I'll pass on the Templar builder. If they had reversed the colors, or done something different, I might've been tempted. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the reveals.

These are all incredibly cool, but if/when they start up with unarmored BARBARIANS, ROBIN HOOD types ( leggings, tunics, lace-up leather boots ) Arogorn type RANGERS, and maybe PIRATES, I am sooo screwed!!!

I'll have already sold internal organs, my soul, and man-whored, so what the hell is left!??  ;D

I'm grateful that none of them interest me. These are just generic troops and it's hard to army build at those prices.
I'd much prefer another shot at the characters I had to pass on the first time around such as Otho.

Though a troll would be great to, but they're sold out.

Agreed, Raj! The Horsemen came up with some great homages in this line. Still plan on some paint & part swaps (whenever I can afford them), but I couldn't wait to put him together. I also have the parts for a basic Death Dealer mashup, but I hafta wait on preorders to make him the way I want.  ;)

In case anyone missed it, the Black Knight reveal-

Nice to see entirely new bucks. Hopefully there's a female elf to round it out. The warthog and leopard dudes are fun.

I heard this was another Kickstarter at the end of the year. I hope so, that way I can whore myself out as much as possible before then.

I didn't end up going with any 1.75 wave. What amounted to repaints just didn't interest me. More frustrating was that the best of wave 1 didn't include anyone I wanted either. I bet those people who paid hundreds on ebay for the barbarian builder set will be peeved.

Well they're certainly going great guns at the moment.

I think it's unlikely. The MLegions aren't really articulated to sit astride a mount. I tried to get a couple on to the LOTR Warg and the tabards and assorted groin pieces make it impossible. It's unlikely they'll make a mount for their figures that won't work (unless it has a specifically tooled rider)

I see a few things I'd like to have, but finances say I have to skip the KS. Really digging the Shadow Elf Lord. He'd make a great D'rizzt? if they decide to include a plain head. Also think the goblin thief is awesome. Also the FanEx may turn out okay after all. Was really hoping for a rogue/thief type, but I don't know if the blue armor will work for me or not.  :-\

Hey guys, I've been overseas for a couple months now but I caught the tale end of ML 2.0 Kickstarter. I skipped the first one because I am a 3 3/4" collector but those figures are too beautiful to pass on. I told myself that the DC Icons would be the only 6" figures I collect but that was a slippery slope. I've been playing catch up with eBay and bbts to try and find some of the first wave. It's been expensive but I am looking forward to a box of Mythic Legions when I get home. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that they do a re-release of the earlier stuff on the storehorsemen site sometime soon. I do not like paying the outrageous price on eBay compared to what four horsemen originally charged. Anyways, rant complete, I am looking forward to the backer kit and picking my figs. Take care.

There was an update to the KS at some point (or an interview with Cornboy, can't recall which) that said there will be a re-release of Series 1. Not sure if it's the whole thing or more best of type deal. Didn't pay too much attention because the only figure I regret passing on is Third. Patience might pay off, though.  [thumbs up]

Yeah, I heard the same thing. I just hope it happens soon. When I get home my wife monitors my spending more closely.  I've managed to find most of the ones I want. I'm hoping they put the blood armor, carpathias, attilas and Attila(?) up for re order.

Welcome back mate! Glad you're safe.

I was pretty conservative with ML2. Six figures all up. Who knows though, between now and the bakerit I might change my mind?
I do regret missing out on the trolls though.

Thanks, but I'm still a couple weeks away from going home. I'm just at the point in the trip where I have free time to spend my loot and hopefully get caught up on podcasts.
It is tough to be conservative with these figs. The cool thing is they seem to have a wide variety of figure types, something for everyone. I'll have some trouble finding shelf space. Damn 1/12th figures, what a slippery slope. I miss my $10 3 3/4" figures back when they were still $10.

Yeah, the international cost for these is not pretty at all. I started off enthusiastic, but then looking at the total and then exchange rate in my spreadsheet, I started to pare it down. In the end I went for figures that would compliment my series 1 figures. The female vampire to hang out with Carpathias, Gwendolyne to hang with Attila, etc. A female Spartan would have been awesome.

I admire your organizational skills and financial responsibility. I've been trying to make a list with this KS also and then shrink it down. I really like the lady knights and the dark elf legion builder. Plus those goblins had a lot of personality.

I use Comic Collector from Collectorz to catalogue my comics. But for everything else I have an Excel spreadsheet. Each tab relates to a collectible of some kind, such as statues, action figures, books, games, etc. It lists the title of the item, company and an approx replacement price. When I tried to give my wife an overview of the contents so that in the event that something happens to me, she just groans and says "If anything happens to you I'll just call Scotty and I'd fly him up here and he can help me sort it out". When I mentioned this to Scotty, he laughed and said Mrs Scotty said much the same thing.

Nice, yeah I told my wife to give it all to her brother. He has similar hobbies. However, my collection has grown significantly since that conversation. I use stashmycomics for my comics but I haven't been updating it very well lately. I will check out comic collector.

Well the preorder is almost over. I'd have loved to have another week for funds. I had to narrow it down to three figures for the moment.
Picked up the elf ranger to add to my existing band of heroes. Also went with the Fanex & Snagg. At some point, I wanna add Thistlethorn in with those two. I'll use them as a fringe group of treasure hunter types loosely aligned with the good guys. Add in some of the weapons packs & I think I might be done with this wave. I was really hoping for some homage characters that would've worked great with the new parts. Maybe we'll see Drizzt, Elric, & Sonja in the inevitable 2.5 wave.  [rock]

4H have finished with the reveals for their pre order that is going live on July 19th. I anticipated that they would only offer 4 or so figures but instead they are offering quite a few and an over sized cyclops. Is anyone else planning on pre ordering any of these? I like the homage to MOTU and the Raygorr figure in D&D warduke colors.

I was really keen for the cyclops, but I just scored a Rock Troll for a bit less than retail and I have mixed feelings about it. Enough that I'm unlikely to order the cyclops now. I'll review it on the next ep of the podcast if you wanna hear more.

I listened to your review of the rock troll. I agree with your points about articulation. I'm happy that they are trying to make different types of characters to mix it up. Due to the size and the price, I am content with owning just one of the trolls. I am interested in the ogres they are showing at sdcc.

They are a tough line to collect. If you don't preorder or participate in the Kickstarter, you end up paying outrageous prices on eBay. However, I don't collect 6" marvel Legends or Star Wars black, so Mythic Legions and Acid Rain are the only lines I get excited about these days.

It's such a shame about the prices, because this is such a potential army builder heavy line.

I missed out on that sale. They have a pre order coming up in about a week for the figures that won the recent poll. I believe the Colliseum wave should be coming out in a couple months. The. 2.0 will hopefully be out at the  end of the year. Currently, I am only looking for Clavian (Red Skeleton), Pixus and Illgar. I am not a completist with this line, due to scarcity and cost, but it is tough to not want them all.

Same here, I’m hoping to get Pixus and maybe the Deltigar, now that they have included an alternate head.  All that could change based on which legion builders they choose to include.

The preorder sale is live on source horsemen. They are offering 12 different figures from the earlier waves and 2 new figure. The prices are mostly $22 or $35. This is a good time to get older figures. The prices on eBay are way too high. I recommend checking it out. I am a big fan of this line and I have been having some fun lately posting pics of them on IG. I can post the link for the four horsemen store site if anyone wants it.

I caved on a couple. Templar Knight, Jorund, Attlus and Vorgus. I really had to fight the urge to army build those skeletons, but the exchange rate and the Horsemen's international shipping rates brought me back to reality.

It's rotocast with a couple of points of articulation and very limited posability.

They are amazingly fun and they come with more accessories than any other line.....they're just expensive.
Whenever storehorsemen opens up another sale I get very tempted, but with international shipping on top, they're just not that viable.

Title: Re: Four Horsemen Mythic Legions

I started collecting Mythic Legions about a year and a half ago. They are now the main focus of my collection and the only non 1/18th scale line that I collect. The sculpts and paintwork are amazing and they are highly articulated. The design of the figs make them perfect for customizing. I really enjoy thes figs.

However, the cost of this line on the secondary market is often outrageous. This means the collector has to be willing to pay a high price up front during Kickstarter campaigns or pre orders. If you try to buy them on eBay you will pay $100 or more for a fig that was $35. BBTS is a happy medium for picking up figs that you missed out on. The line is great if you don’t mind the large upfront investment or if you have the discipline to just cherry pick. If you want to be a completist, it is very expensive. Scalpers take advantage of this line and that is a shame.

Anyhow, this is my favorite line and I recommend it to anyone that likes Sword and Sorcey/ D and D / Tolkien type figures. However, like anything that is nice, greedy people take advantage of it and take some of the fun out of it.

The sourcehorsemen.com store will have another sale coming up on May 9th but stock will be limited and I imagine the scalpers will gobble everything up fast.

Were money no issue, I’d love to get in on this line.  The completest in me would probably take over though.  I’d want all of them.  At this point, that’s not possible.  But they do look great.

That’s what happened to me. I started out thinking I would only pick up a couple knights and it all escalated from there. I highly recommend the figures but they aren’t cheap and the four horsemen keep making more and more of them. I will say,  Four Horsemen Studios has worked hard to make it easier for fans to get the figs at the original price with more preorders and sales on their website. I hope it will continue to get better.

I've been surprisingly non-O.C.D (I know right?) with this line. But that's because there's several figures I simply don't like so it's easy.
I would like to army build though, but it's simply no feasible at those prices.

I agree with you on the prices. I try to collect this line in “tiers”. For each wave I select my favorites from the wave and try to preorder or get them from a Kickstarter. Once I have all of my “tier 1” figs from a wave, I will then move to tier 2 and so on. It works in my head.

On a positive note, I should be moving into my new house by the end of the week. All of my figs have been packed up for the last 2 months while we were selling our current house. I’m looking forward to setting up a new toy room and unleashing my Mythic Legions.

Haha, I’ll post pics when I can. I’m pretty excited about a fresh start for my displays.

Didn't see much coverage, but the Horsemen had their own "Online Convention" with a few reveals & also have a preorder up til Sept 12.

I dig the shadow ranger, it'll be a decent enough stand in for Drizzt. Also love the ice troll, but I don't think I can pull the trigger at that price.

Also they revealed Aerythyr? & the first mount

That horse looks like it's fairly flexible in reuse. If they're smart they'll do a pegasus in white and another in black for the ML collectors.

If you don't own one of the FH Trolls, I wouldn't bother. They're pretty crap. Just rotocast plastic with a couple of points of articulation and practically no posability.

That horse is flipping amazing looking!!  If MARVEL LEGENDS had ever made a Cowboy Ghost Rider....

I still keep hoping that MYTHIC LEGIONS doesn't do any Ninjas, Pirates, or non-armored Robin Hood types cuz I'll definitely want them.  Granted, at this point...35 bucks for a 6"er is practically the norm.
