Here's an update to an old favorite, a custom Marvel Legends Symbiote Spider-Man! I started with the new 'pizza Spidey' and sculpted in the joint holes using Aves Fixit then trimmed the joints for proper clearance. The front and back spider symbols were carefully painted on freehand and I even created a 'transformation Peter Parker' alternate head showing the Symbiote crawling up his face to form the mask just like the old Medicom toy. The blue highlights were airbrushed on (even on his individual fingertips!) as was the lighter blue on his eyes and symbols using Blu-tak (poster putty) to mask off sections I didn't want sprayed. The outcome? My favorite and most detailed black costume Spider-Man custom to date!

Sure deal. Here you are:

Is it Kosher to link a bunch of pics to a post? I usually just post one and then link to the custom's page so the page here loads faster for people.

Hello Jin, I actually follow your work on ebay. Your customs are outstanding! Some of the highest caliber work I have ever seen. Given these things, every time I look at one of your ebay auctions, they are up to $500, $600 and even $900. These are out of my price range, so I just have to admire your work in pictures. :D

It's a Karl Urban Star Trek head with Apoxie Sculpt symbiote sculpt over it. The hair worked so I went with it.

You really follow my customs there? That's all sorts of cool. I get some crazy totals sometimes. My MOTUC stuff has been topping totals. I mean I start everything at a penny and just let the buyers decide what they think my customs are worth.

Yes, there was one in particular about 2-3 months ago, that really stood out. It was a sort of devil and I believe it had horns. It was amazing. Also, I think you had a Manglord one recently. I have the actual Manglord figure from 1982 still in the package. I posted it in the retro toys section on this site if you would like to check it out.

She's deadly, she's powerful, she's got six arms! It's the X-Men's Spiral and here she's been revamped in Marvel Legends style. I started with the upper half of a Target Exclusive Spiral and mounted it to a Captain Marvel lower body. She sport's Black Widow's head, different dance-pose hands, and Spiral's leg fur was hollowed out and attached to the new legs. Winter Soldier's belt was added along with the original Spiral's helmet. A modded Scarlet Witch hex became her magic effect and she can wield three different swords with the new hands. One airbrushed paint job later and Spiral was ready to capture the X-Men in the name of Mojo!

With the Avengers Age of Ultron movie upon us we're getting to see even more classic characters given the Marvel Cinematic Universe treatment. Here I bring you a concept MCU styled Wolverine Marvel Legends custom figure. Should Fox ever give up the X-men rights could we envision Logan looking something like this? Wolverine was made from the upper body/lower legs of a Marvel Universe Apocalypse, Sabertooth lower body, Hush Batman lower arms, and an X-force Wolvie head. Uniform sections, buckles, straps, and fins were all sculpted using Aves Fixit/Apoxie Sculpt. Claws were crafted from carbon steel tines that came from a spring-loaded meat tenderizer sharpened and angled. Wolvie was wrapped up in an airbrushed paint job and sealed with Liquitex varnish for protection. I also created a claw/battle damaged MCU style Captain America shield so you could create some X-men vs Avengers movie battles!

What's black and white and red all over? The newest member of the symbiote family, Toxin! This tendriled hero was created from a medium ML body, Agent Venom head, Carnage tendril pack, hands and feet. I used Aves Fixit Sculpt and Pro-Create for the various ooze/tendril sculpt effects on his body and topped the figure off with an airbrushed paint job sealed with Liquitex acrylic semigloss varnish.

Title: Re: Jin's Customs: ML AoA Iceman with ice base, Toxin, pg 2
Post by: Jin Saotome on May 09, 2015, 03:58:47 pm
Iceman is back and this time he's come straight out of the Age of Apocalypse! I've tackled this figure before almost a decade ago and it's time to revisit him again for a completely updated look. To create this AOA styled Iceman I used a ML Drax upper body, Anti-Venom lower arms and back spikes, medium ML buck lower body, and Scarlet Spider feet. A resculpted Moon Knight head was perfect for his no-face look and I used powerful disc magnets to attach his body halves so he could be taken apart. For this reason I created a special lower body based on the comics using a Namor water-base with ice effects sculpted on. This gave Iceman an incredible snake-like form that really fits the character and can be swapped out with normal legs. I used a combination of light blue, dark blue shading, and frosty white airbrushed effects for his paint job which gave him an amazingly smooth ice-like look. Now this is an AOA Iceman that will stand the test of time yet again!

With the Avengers Age of Ultron movie out people are expanding their Marvel Cinematic Universe figure collections. This week I bring you another bring you another MCU concept custom, Cyclops leader of the X-Men as I'd love to see him appearing alongside (or fighting against) the Avengers! Here I took a WS Movie Cap and sculpted web gear, straps, gave him a brand new Robocop-esq visor design headsculpt, and used a Rightclops belt. Cap's alternate hands were perfect for Scott's trademark blast-poses and he was wrapped up in an airbrushed shaded and highlighted paint job sealed with Liquitex acrylic varnish. Now Cyclops is ready to join my MCU Wolverine on the big screen...someday?

"The skies have never been friendly in Eternia as all sorts of creatures and machines take to the air to do battle. Joining the fray is the Dragoonfly warrior, ally of Buzz-Off and guardian of the Eternian marshland. Equipped with a powerful halberd this insectioid warrior can speed overhead without a sound and find his mark with deadly precision."

Here's another Masters of the Universe Classics custom figure, the Dragoonfly Warrior. He was created using a Buzz-Off body, Lord Dactus lower legs, Zodac lower arms/loincloth, TMNT Roach Terminator limbs, and the head/wings from a Star Wars insect mount that Yoda rides. I attached the wings to some Ben Ten character wings so they could fold down individually and gave Dragoonfly an airbrushed paint job fitting a high flying warrior.

People are expanding their Marvel Cinematic Universe figure collections every day with new figures and this week I bring you another bring you another MCU concept custom, the raging Cajun himself Gambit! Here I went with a Jim Lee-esq costume as my earlier MCU Wolverine and Cyclops did but worked in a containment-costume theme as if his uniform is helping keep his kinetic charging powers from blowing up whatever he touches. Gambit was created from a movie Electro body, XMC Gambit head, XMC Magneto lower arms and legs, Nick Fury coat, SDCC Ghost hands, and Apoxie Sculpted detail. Two kinetic card tosses were created along with a charged staff to complete his arsenal.

He's back and badder than ever, Ultron returns to wreck havoc for the Avengers! This custom Marvel Legends scale 6" Ultron uses the Spiderman Beetle recipe with a tweak, all the bubbles have been removed from the mold for a completely different look! Ultron uses Extremis Iron Man lower arms and Space Iron Man lower feet along with a cast Ultron head. Spikes were added to his shoulders and he was given an airbrushed full metallic paint job to bring out the detail. Add a removable energy blast and filled in joint holes for a seamless look and you have an Ultron worthy of ruling the world...or your collection at least!

"When it came down to brute force on the battlefield Hordak had little that could withstand Ram-Man's headlong attacks...until now. Enter Brawl-Or, the Horde's melee combat specialist. Raised in the Cosmic Arena of the Game Master this fearsome fighter can do more damage without a weapon than most can with one. Brawl-Or's form grows molecularly denser upon impact allowing him to stop Ram-Man in his tracks and eventually punch his way through any obstacle, even magical wards and force fields! With these furious fists on his side who can stand against Hordak now?"

Enter Brawl-Or, an original character design in my Masters of the Universe Classics customs. He's a hand-to-hand combatant that can put the hurting on anyone or anything. Brawl-Or was created from a Geldor body, Hordak lower legs, Marvel Universe Juggernaut lower arms, Radioactive Man loincloth, Spawn belt, a Sigma 6 helmet, and fodder armor from some red death-knight character from a card game. He was then given an airbrushed paint job to match the current MOTUC characters and some manacle chains.

"The Forests of Eternia are no place for a lone adventurer to wander...at least not where Foe-Liege prowls! With the power to command the very forest itself to do his bidding he prepares to fight Moss-Man for control. But beware, the fearsome Foe-Liege is an expert in camouflage and can sneak up or evade even the most seasoned tracker. He-Man will have his hands full if he dares to challenge his rule."

Here's another custom Masters of the Universe Classics original character, Foe-Liege! He's made from a Moss-Man body, standard boot feet, NECA werewolf claws, Skylanders Pop Fizz face, Grizzlor head/fur pelt, and twine ropes. Citadel flocking and 3M spray was used over a sculpted body to simulate a forest floor look. Pleastic floral leaves were added for effect and make up his crown and ears as well. Now Moss-Man has a nemesis and a sneaky one at that!

The Diaclone toy series were the precursors to Transformers and from them spawned the characters we all know and love with Optimus Prime leading the Autobots. Here I've taken a Combiner Wars Optimus Prime and given him a new Construct-Bots head and paint job reminiscent of the vintage Diaclone Prime. Modding the Combiner torso's head with Crosshair's pistols I was able to turn it into a homage to the Diaclone Ultra Magnus. Now you can add your own limbs to create a brand new Combiner Wars bot!

One of the Turtle's most powerful foes, Slash makes his appearance as an NECA style custom Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure! To create him I used a NECA Leonardo with a Playmates 2015 Slash front/back shell, Apoxie Sculpted face, eyes, and claws along with skin bumps. Wrist blades were sculpted on, spikes added to the pads, and NECA 300 Immortal shoulder armor added. Slash was then given a hard comic lined paint job to perfectly match the NECA comic style turtles and complete his look.

It's been a while since  I've created any custom GI Joe figures and this week I have something  special for you, Cobra Lab Tubes! These tubes light up, not just one  color but six. There's also a color-scrolling option. The best thing is  these stay the color you choose until you click the button again to  switch them. You can choose between always-on: red, green, purple,  white, and light blue. Technically there's a yellow selection too but it  ends up looking almost like the green selection. These were made using  the Dr Dreadful Alien Slime Drink tubes, printed control panel stickers,  and various tubing. The bubble effects are different sized epoxy drops  adhered inside the tube. I used an LED lighting kit that installs in the  bottom with replacable batteries. Whatever color your Cobra Laboratory  demands, these lab tubes have you covered.

For kicks I created five different Cobra experiments to go in the  tubes, two aliens made from Redakai figures and three Cobra  experimental troopers made from various GI Joe/Marvel Universe/Spiderman  3 3/4" fodder parts.

For a ton of pictures head to their page here: Light-up Cobra Lab Tubes (http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/JinsDangerousToys/CloneTube.html)

"The Eternian Oceans have always been dangerous areas to explore but now they've turned deadly with the dreaded Nautilor sailing them. After being transformed by Hordak's magic into a powerful soldier of the sea he took up piracy and raided any ship that crossed his path. Once a being is wrapped up in Nautilor's tentacles their life force can be drained and their strength added to his for a short while making him a force to be reckoned with. Nautilor now searches the Eternian Oceans for Ty-Daal-Ray in hopes of getting his revenge for their last battle that left his vessel crippled and adrift for days, adding insult to his injury."

Here's another custom original character for your Masters of the Universe Classics collection, Nautilor! He was created using a Mer-Man body, Tung Lashor hands, Clawful feet, Octavia tentacles, Dactus head with a new mouth, King Hiss helmet modded with a MU Beetle backpack for the squid top/pirate hat, and a DCU armor piece from a Red Lantern character.

You knew it was only a matter of time and with the Ant-Man movie being so amazing here's a movie-accurate version of his Marvel Legends form! Using a retail ML Ant Man I resculpted the helmet to add more of the bridge of the nose, side breather apparatus sections, helmet dome and sides. A backpack was attached and hoses run from the helmet. Ant-Man has two closed fists now, a screen accurate paint job including black shading on the red sections and full silver wire. I also took the mini-figs that he came with and changed them up, giving them full paint jobs. Ant-Man is now in a leaping/punching pose and Yellowjacket is defending with his pincers over his shoulders ready to fire. Now you can have an Ant-Man that looks like he stepped right off the screen!

"The self proclaimed 'Universe Prince' travels the galaxy in search of adventure and fortune, all of which he had heard were plentiful on Eternia. But this was no ordinary prince. Hailing from a planet of shapeshifters, Nok-Koff has the ability to copy a being's attributes including size, strength, and even abilities which aided him in his conquests. When he arrived on Eternia Nokk-Koff met He-Man and instantly took his form. With advanced weaponry that can mimic the weapons of his enemies as well, but is he friend or foe to He-Man?"

Here's a custom Masters of the Universe Classics figure that's based upon the Korean bootleg He-Man toy called 'Universe Prince'. All the shades, colors, and design were chosen based on that figure and you can google it for the original reference. Nok-Koff was created using a He-Man body, Mo-larr head with He-Man hair, DCU Darksied lower arms, Geldor lower legs, Sky-Klone waist, and modded harness/weaponry from other figures.

"Deep within Subternia dwells the fearsome lava lord Maag-Marr. As the pressures build so does his power, control over molten rock that he harnesses through the magmatic core in his chest. Wielding a meteor staff imbued with powerful cosmic energy Maag-Marr will soon lead his underground forces against all of Eternia and flood the surface with his burning rage!"

Here's the lava-wielding Maag-Marr, my newest custom Masters of the Universe Classics character. He was created from a Calix body, ML Terrax head, reflective gem chest piece, and extra sculpted stone work. His staff was made from Strobo's meteor accessory and some ML Green Goblin flames were added. A lot of airbrushing went into the magma effects in the cracks of his stone in order to get them looking like they were glowing such as shades of red, orange, and yellow.

From the shadows of the night stalks the most lethal of assassins, Hunter Rose. Without an equal this Grendel has taken the city for his own, and your collection! Grendel Hunter Rose was created from a ML Scarlet Spider body, pizza Spidey head, machine man lower legs, and DCU Capt Boomerange lower arms. Apoxie Sculpted detail was added and I created his dual bladed fork from scratch materials. One airbrushed paintjob and hand detailing later Grendel was ready to take on the world.

Hailing from a bleak and distant future, the cyborg known as Grendel Prime is virtually unstoppable in his quest. Here I've created him in Marvel Legends 6" scale using a DC Collectibles Nightwing base, Captain America lower legs, apoxie sculpted suit and mask details, and various fodder armor parts. His beam saber was made from a martini pick and he was given a matte/gloss/weathered paint job with all the silver studs. Now Grendel Prime is ready for his ultimate battle.

Moody, dangerous, and damned, John Constantine walks a fine line between worlds in hopes that he can redeem himself by battling the forces of evil. This custom movie John Constantine was created using the DC Collectibles comic Constantine body, McFarlane real world Neo head and various different hands. Articulation had to be added in the wrists, waist, hips, and ankles for the figure to be properly articulated. Constantine's holy shotgun was created from scratch parts, his lighter, ancient bandage, and holy brass knuckles rounding out his arsenal. A couple of new alternate hands and a movie style paint job later and Constantine is ready to raise a little Hell.

Lasher was one of the five symbiotes created when the Venom spawned several different symbiotes during the Separation Anxiety story arc. A product of the Life Foundation this warrior had stealth, strength, and grew razor tendrils from its back. This custom Marvel Legends Lasher Symbiote was created using a Machine Man body, sculpted over Carnage head, modded Ultron feet, some sort of mini-dragon hands, and Superior Venom's tendril arm backpack. The whole figure was airbrushed, sealed and its joint holes filled for a complete look. Now to make the other four!

He's one cool character and part of the original X-men team, it's Iceman! This custom Marvel Legends 6" Iceman was created from the Target exclusive 3-pack Vision that has been making his rounds in many a custom Iceman/Human Torch. The first step was carefully removing all the white overspray using acetone and lots of Q-tips for those hard to reach crevices. The original Vision head was used, his bare feet and joint holes were resculpted using clear epoxy, and a belt sculpted. Thinned down Tamiya clear blue was airbrushed on and Iceman took on the homage of the vintage toybiz 5" Iceman you owned as a kid!

Here we have yet another of the Life Foundation's symbiotes, a custom Marvel Legends scale Riot. The powerhouse of the group, Riot was created from an Anti-Venom body, modded head, claw-sculpted tigershark hands, and a GI Joe tendril plug-in. Looking almost like Venom but without the symbols Riot was given an airbrushed paint job with covered joint holes for a smooth appearance. Next up, the rest of the team!

Clayface is one of Batman's deadliest foes, able to change into anyone or anything along with being nearly indestructible. Here I've created a custom Clayface figure based on his Batman the Animated Series clearance. A DC Select Sculpt Clayface was used for the base and the head resculpted. The body was cracked apart and the rotten bendy arms removed. Marve Legends Rhino BAF shoulder peg inserts were added so the Rhino arms could be attached, then sculpted over. Hands from a Hero Mashers Carnage were used with the removable pegs assisting in making the spiked clay ball and blade removable. A full airbrushed paintjob later and this Clayface looks ready to take on Batman and win!

A blast from the past, the 1989 Batman movie figures from Toybiz were top notch back then. Here I've brought you an updated version of the classic zip-line-belt figure you owned as a child. This custom Toybiz Vintage style 6" scale Batman figure was created from the head/cowl/feet/armor/hands of a NES Batman, DC Collectibles Nightwing body, and DCU cape. A grappling belt was created from Dr Octopus claws and made so it can attach to the front of the larger zip-gun that the old figure had. The head was separated from the cowl and resculpted with a dual ball joint so Batman can look in any direction. One matte/gloss paint job later and you have an updated figure from your childhood! Now to get on making a new Bob the Goon...

Great work Jin, not only are you keeping the custom thread going as it seems alot of us seem to be on a hiatus, but also maintaining the high standard I've always seen in your work.

Love Clayface , and while I'm not big on your using a Nightwing base (it kills me because there not that many good Nightwing figures) I have to admit it works and it is the perfect Keaton Batman custom!  [bravo]

Yes I said perfect...

"When the Nexxus device was activated by Skeletor it opened portals to other worlds and other dimensions all across Eternia. One such doorway led to a strange planet called New Texas where the villainous Bullet Bart resided. Following Tex Hex through to Eternia, Bart found himself in a showdown with none other than Rio-Blast and BraveStarr! With his Gatling hands blazing Bullet Bart was determined to eliminate any and all traces of the law...and with Skeletor's help he might just succeed!"

This custom Masters of the Universe Classics/Bravestarr crossover figure was created using a Geldor head, galactic Skeletor body, Vikor military armor parts, a western Spawn hat, and some fodder Gatling gun attachments that went on some sort of laser-tag robots. The open back leg sections were sculpted in as was various face and chest detail. Now He-Man and Bravestarr have a new villain to battle!

Star Wars the Force Awakens gave us a brand new villain, Kylo Ren of the First Order. However the 6" Black Series figure needed some upgrades. Here I've made the hood removable by undoing the stitching and wrapping the hood material around a modded Dr Doom hood that clips under the base of Kylo's helmet allowing it to turn with his head while laying flat. He now comes with open gesture hands modded from a Superior Venom, force lighting hands from a movie Elctro, and new unmasked head as shown at the end of the movie using a Prince Caspian character's head with newly sculpted features. Kylo's lightsaber was given the clear crackling flame look by sculpting clear epoxy around the blade and coating it with clear red/orange highlights.

Star Wars the Force Awakens gave us all sorts of new and exciting characters, tho none mysterious as the Knight of Ren shown standing around Kylo Ren for only a few seconds of screen time. Here I've created a custom Knight of Ren character using a Star Wars Black Tie Fighter Pilot body, modded Titanium Man head/Magneto Helmet, and a whole lot of fodder armor, fabric, belt, and detail work. A vibro-axe is this one's signature weapon and they were painted using a combination of matte, satin, and high gloss black to make different costume effects stands out. Get ready for more of the Knights of Ren!

"The Gear Guard is an ancient Automaton created by an even older race of Eternians that once resided deep within the planet's surface. For centuries these mechanical knights stood guard over treasure holds, secret passages, and dungeons. Once such guard was discovered by Orko and accidentally reactivated, deeming He-Man and his friends a threat! During the battle Man-at-Arms was able to remove the programming codex from Gear Guard, wiping its commands. Now only its base programming remains, to guard and protect the greatest treasure of all...Eternia itself!"

This custom Masters of the Universe Classics Gear Guard is an original character created from a Blast-Attak body, Skylanders gear/faceplate, Transformers rock'em sockem style Grimlock fist/sword, and various fodder parts added on for a steampunk style look. He was given a metallic airbrushed paint job and sealed with Liquitex acrylic varnish to protect against wear.

Deadly robotic hunters, the Sentinels roam their sectors searching for mutants to eliminate. Never before have the X-men fought such an unstoppable army and today I have one created for either your Marvel Legends or Marvel Universe collection. The Sentinel was created using a deluxe DC Collectibles Lex Luthor Power Suit and modded Heroclix Sentinel head. Sections of the suit were modded to allow for more articulation such as the waist, arms, and sculpt was added for certain details. The Sentinel was wrapped up with airbrushed shading and highlights sealed with a mix of 50/50 Liquitex matte and satin sealer. Sentinels come in all sizes these days so he scales well with both Marvel Legends and Marvel Universe figures as a medium-build Sentinel.

Kaboom! Pow! Blammo! No Decepticon wants to hear these words on the battlefield because it means Warpath is on the, well, warpath. This tanky little Autobot was created using a Combiner Wars Brawl. His waist was modded so it folds down properly and magnets were used so that his combiner joint became his chest cannon. Basic transformation rules apply so he still becomes and arm or a leg, tank or robot. Watch out, this little fellow packs a wallop!

The merc-with-a-mouth returns in all his smartalec glory this time in an armored suit to combat the upcoming Apocalypse! Here I created a movie-styled armored up Deadpool using a BvS armored Batman, sculpted details, blasters made from a Disney infinity Rocket Raccoon figurine, and twin tech swords. The blasters magnetically attach to his hips and the swords to his back. There's tons of articulation in this figure and I modded various joints to increase the range. Now Deadpool is ready to fight alongside the X-men and take on the biggest of opponents!

With all the new characters from Star Wars the Force Awakens I thought hey, why not keep adding to the roster? This week I've mixed some Expanded Universe in and created a concept First Order Dark Trooper! Standing at 7.5" tall this cyborg trooper is ready to crush the Resistance. This custom Dark Trooper was made from an Evolve Markov body, Mandroid lower arms, and FO Stormtrooper head along with various fodder details. Dark Trooper wields wrist-mounted vibroblade and blaster cannons into battle. There's armor weathering, airbrushed shading, and all sorts of metallic detail too.

Your favorite Mandalorian bounty hunter returns, it's Boba Fett customized as he was seen in the Return of the Jedi Star Wars movie. Here I took a basic 6" Boba Fett and gave him a complete repaint job down to the tiny scuffs and scratches on his armor. A new belt, gear, and braided wookie scalps were added to up the detail along with a flamethrower blast that can be attached to his gauntlet. The placement of his pouches fixes the range of leg motion and now Fett can hunt down any figure in your collection and look amazing doing so.

This version of the Orb was made to resemble his look in Marvel's Original Sin title and was created from a basic ML medium body, AIM soldier lower arms, and Baron Zemo boots. Panther was created from the NECA Dog aka Runner Alien body with shortened limbs and sculpted shoulders, hips, crest, and back. Hands and feet from different Aliens Resurrection Aliens were used and given joints. Panther Alien even has his little back parasite! The Aliens have returned and this time they're taking over, courtesy of their new king! Here I've created a NECA scaled custom Alien King action figure to terrorize your collection. It's a combination of looks from the Sideshow statue and the Kenner deluxe Alien Kings featuring the cool crest tails as well as the vintage figure colors. It was created using a NECA AvP Grid Alien base with NECA Diablo III parts. The crest blades are poseable and fold down to become pincers like the Kenner Alien King had so it can grab Colonial Marines. The entire figure was airbrushed with different shades of green, tan, and copper to really bring out the details. Standing over 10" tall this Alien King is ready to tear into anything!

Not truly a custom but rather a mod, I took a Funko POP Big Daddy and gave it a light-up feature. You can do this too by using a hairdryer and heating up the helmet rack and prying it off, then prying the front helmet off the same way. Inside is hollow so I drilled out the eyes, used googly-eye caps for the porthole lenses, then filled them with clear epoxy. The led light kit came from one of the floating pool lights and turns seven different colors, but stays on whatever color you choose. This was perfect for Big Daddy's 'moods'.

If you wanted the entire Avengers team with limited shelf space I might have your answer, enter the Super Adaptoid! This version of of the hero-mimicing android is based off the Playmation figurine, done movie-style. He was created using the upper body of a Marvel Now Cap, War machine lower body, MU hulk arm, Thor arm, and Iron Man head. He comes equipped with Thor's hammer, Hawkeye's bow/quiver, Cap's shield, and a pair of wings to make him look like the golden age versions. Four different shades of green were used to give him a distinct look and now this custom Super Adaptoid is ready to take on anything and everything!

"The creature known as Plaguestor wasn't always a minion of Hordak's. He was once a prosperous witch doctor who healed the sick in his avian tribe. One day he dabbled in black magic trying to save one of his kin only to have the spell warp and twist his form, absorbing the disease as part of himself. Cast out from his village, Hordak found a use for this tormented creature cloaking him in black to conceal his plague-bearing body while exposing his virulent right hand. Infectious and deadly Plaguestor now spreads pestilence instead of peace!"

Plaguestor was created from a Hordak figure, the back of Knightmare Batman's trenchcoat, Armored Batman's cape, TMNT Rat King's hat, custom sculpted mask, Funko mini Arkham Scarecrow head, Skylanders accessory claw, and other fodder parts. He was airbrushed using Testors Aztek acrylic airbrush paints and given a liquitex varnish sealer.

"The tides of change are upon Eternia and riding them is the mighty Octopious, ruler of the Ruby Sea! Determined to restore peace to the oceans Octopious journeyed to Castle Grayskull with good intentions, however met with ill ones from Skeletor who was in the middle of an assaulting it. Without hesitation Octopious and his Nautalitic Guards joined the battle. Inked blind by Octopious' attack, Skeletor learned that not all cephalopods were created equal, some were far mightier than others!"

An original character design of mine, Octopious is ready to take on the evils of Eternia on land or in the sea. He was created from a Funko Cthulhu minifig head, Monster High octo arm backpack, TMNT Crab Shredder hands, and a Dactus body. Airbrushed, detailed, and sealed from head to toe, this MotUC custom Octopious is a perfect addition to any He Man Classics collection!

Aliens attack! Based on a Xeno from the doomed Aliens cartoon here's a four-armed Alien menace to take on your Colonial Marines. This Harvestman Alien was created as an egg-transporter for the queen. It was created from two standard NECA Alien Warrior xenos, hybrid alien crest, and Diablo III shoulders. Quite a bit of resculpting, trimming, and hollowing-out was needed to join the two xenos together and now we have an arachnid-centuar terror!

"Brother of Ty-Daal-Ray and warrior of the Subternia Oceans the mighty Ang-Larr can dive to amazing depths to find treasures and minerals to aid their kingdom. He lights the depths with a small dangling appendage but watch out, Ang-Larr can create a powerful flash to blind his enemies during battle! With claws, fins, and a taste for adventure, Ang-Larr is always scale-deep in trouble. Never ones to back down Ang-Larr and Ty-Daal-Ray tak the fight to Hordak himself when the Subternia oceans were threatened!"

Another original concept character creation for the Subternia series, Ang-Larr was created from a Ssssssqueeze body, Mer-Man feet, ML Toxin lower arms, TMNT Fish-face head, Hydron backpack, and sculpted detail. Like Ty-Daal-Ray I went for a tech wetsuit look and airbrushed shading over his scaly form.

Better check the chain because one false move and you're a meal! In the Dark Souls video game the Mimic chest was a vicious opponent, devouring anyone foolish enough to loot it. Here I've created one that's ready to take a bite out of your fellow knight! The Mimic chest was created using a basic Chap-Mei treasure chest found in those pirate toy sets, body/arms from a NECA Prometheus Decon figure, toybiz Icons Venom tongue, sculpted detail and metal chain. The inside of the chest is sculpted with plug-in joints that you can remove the arms and tongue from. Next pop off the body, remove the teeth rows, and the figure breaks down into an unassuming treasure chest! Finally the custom was hand painted with metallics and wood finishes, airbrushed and sealed. It fits in with 5-7" figure series like Assassin's Creed, ML, and Mythic Legions.

"Larger than most Arachna of his kind, Wreckloose spent most of his time battling the other inhabitants of the Underground using his advanced eyesight to spot his prey from very long distances. He was soon imprisoned by the Aracnha king for his uncontrollable rage after battle even with those of his own clan. It was only by the combined efforts of Skeletor and his henchmen that Wreckloose was freed and after striking a deal with Skeletor this eight-legged terror was ready to take out his rage on Eternia's champion, He-Man!"

Keeping with the spider theme this original character custom creation was made from a Harry Potter Aragon spider body, Zodak upper body, Webstor head, McFarlane Horrid hands, and various fodder parts. I added chains and a modified breastplate from a snake-crush Skeletor from the 200x line to complete Wreckloose's look.

The Hive Wars have begun anew and the Predators have joined in the fight against the ever-expanding xenomorph threat. Here I bring you the Acid Rain Predator wearing a specialized armor resistant to the acidic blood of the aliens. A brand new design, the Acid Rain Predator was created from the new AvP NECA body with tweaks to the armor using fodder from some Halo figures. He was given an all out repaint with different greens and yellows for the acid-washed look. Even his wrist computer has green numerics!

"Angered by the limitations of his Horde Troopers the tyrannical Hordak devises a new set of troopers to cause chaos in Eterina...the Horde Terratroopers! With crab-like legs these troopers are able to scale vertical surfaces with ease and snatch up enemies with their extending mechanical arms. While they cannot fly the Terratroopers can move incredibly fast on land and cover enough ground to surround Hordak's enemy on the battlefield. Even one can pose a serious threat to She-Ra or He-Man if they're unprepared!"

Here's a brand new original creation, the Horde Terratrooper! Based on a combination from a Horde Trooper and Skeletor's robots, this mechanical monstrosity was created from a DCU Metallo upper body, 200X He Man squid vehicle legs, Matrix Sentinel tentacles, Star Wars Drestroyer Droid legs claws, and a Redakai head of some sort. A new Horde chest emblem was created from fodder bits and some Lex Luthor/Spawn/Iron Spider armor was used in its creation.

The Hive Wars have begun anew and the Predators have joined in the fight against the ever-expanding xenomorph threat. Here I bring you the Bloodstorm Predator ready to skin some trophies! He's created with the Neca Boar Predator, AvP gear, Spawn armor, and 4 Horseman Scarabus horns. He was given a blood-red paint job that's akin to an 'element theme' I have going with my current series of Predator customs and a wicked tri-claw blade gauntlet.

It's time for a trip down memory lane to the land of Kenner. Remember the cap-firing Robocop figures you had as a child? Well this time I bring you an NECA style Robocop figure that's done in the same style. It even has the cap-firing mechanism embedded in its back! This custom was made by taking a videogame Robocop and merging the upper/lower torso, hollowing out the back, and installing a cap-blasting mechanism taken from the original Kenner figure. A lot of work had to be done to carve the original unit down so that it still opened up properly and vented the smoke. The leg still opens up to reveal his classic gun but I created an oversized tri-barrel blaster and gave Robo a Kenner paint job to complete the look.

Is he friend or foe? Autobot or Decepticon? It's your choice with my custom Reverse Convoy! Here's a Transformers dual-headmaster based on the Titans Return line. He was crated using the deluxe Hard head mold, modded voyager deluxe Megatron face, deluxe Robot Masters Prime face, and some additional fodder parts for the chest. He has a magnetic dual-sided symbol that you flip around for Autobot or Decepticon and his Headmasters can both sit in the gun and cockpit in tank alt mode. Reverse Convoy was painted with Tamiaya spray lacquers and Testors Aztek airbrush paints.

Are you ready for Halloween? This fellow is, heck he's the living...er undead embodiment of it! It's the villain from The Real Ghostbusters, Samhain. Here you're getting a super detailed, ultra updated versions of the character to battle your Diamond Select Ghostbusters figures or really any scale figures you have. Samhain was created using a Harry Potter Dementor body craft vinyl pumpkin, DCU jacket arms, and various cloak/cape parts. His face was hand sculpted and inside his head is a blacklight LED and fluorescent post that shines an ethereal purple-orange when switched on. He was airbrushed with Testors Azek Airbrush paints and sealed with liquitex acrylic archival varnish.

"Deep within Castle Grayskull lies an ancient suit of armor passed down from generation to generation dating back to the oldest of Eternians. A gift from the first galactic traveler to arrive, this powerful armor can withstand the perils of space travel and protect its wearer from even the most severe of physical damage. But for now it sits as a relic, still charging and upgrading its systems should the need arise for He-Man to make a galactic trip."

MOTUC Classics customs are back and here I bring you a redesigned Castle Grayskull Armor. Originally a cardboard cutout in the vintage, then upgraded to a static accessory in the Classics castle, I've gone one step further and made it into an actual figure! The armor was created from a Flogg body, funko Doom marine head, Man-E-Faces feet, and all sorts of fodder parts that I was able to attach. The armor comes with a laser rifle and magnetic knife that attaches on to its leg, staying true to the cutout. I also created two Galactic Stratos and Galactic Zodak heads so you can remove the helmet head to display those, or anyone else you want to make it appear is wearing the armor.

"Knowledge is power and with enough power one can rule the Universe, this much Hordak is sure of. To obtain all the information he can about his enemies is a top priority! Enter Slitherneck, Hordak's top Snakeman spy. With the ability to peer into places secretly this foe gains all he can and reports back the strengths and weaknesses of his prey. Close the windows and guard the chimneys for Slitherneck is always looking for a way to watch what's going on!"

Here's a custom Masters of the Universe Classics original character, Slitherneck! One of the Snakemen he was created from a Hordak base, cast Snakeman head, Ssssssqueeze arm for his neck, modded He-man battle armor, Buzz-off upper legs and Mer-Man lower legs/arms. I hollowed out a channel through each torso piece and back allowing the ssssqueeze arm to slide up through and act as a tail when the neck wasn't extended. The head is magnetic allowing it to look around in any position when you bend the neck as well.

"The fierce warrior Clawsome has been searching the vast Eternian seas for more of his Karikoni kin ever since he was separated from their Island home. Enslaved by pirates at a young age, Clawsome grew stronger as he worked the docks loading and unloading their stolen goods. He was finally able to shear the chains that once held him captive using his massive right claw and took a smaller vessel to Eternia's mainland. Now Clawsome explores the world he never knew and searches for others like him."

Here's a custom Masters of the Universe Classics original character, Clawsome! This shellfish soldier was created using the new Superman Doomed dc multiverse body, modded Clawful head, small claw, back plate and legs, Flogg lower legs, and Toybiz Lady Deathstrike vintage claw accessory. In the game Facehuggers scurry about the Carrier Alien's spines and I've included three here. One creepy yellowish-green paint job later and Carrier was ready to spread the facehugging love.

"A warrior from a bygone age the Space Knight heralds himself as an ancient Eternian who fought in the Galactic Wars long before any were fought on the planet's surface. For centuries his spaceship had orbited Eternia until an exploration by He-Man and Man-at-Arms discovered the warrior in cryogenic hibernation. The Space Knight awakened to find the realm flourishing but in peril and quickly pledged to join the heroes in their quest for peace. Watch out Skeletor, Knight falls wherever darkness creeps!"

Today in the realm of MOTUC Classics customs I bring you an original character, the Eternian Space Knight! This armored adversary for good was created using a Multiverse comic Dark Knight armored Batman, Wind Raider pilot head, Icarious armor, and various fodder pieces for detail. He's decked out in cosmic weathered armor and packs a spinning blade sword to combat the forces of evil.

Ready to take on any challenge Moon Knight was created using an Eel/Blizzard body base, Hobgoblin modded hood and cape, Punisher hands, sculpted details and real fabric wrappings for his arms and legs. A bright white/gray/black monochrome paint job completed Moon Knight's look as well as a bo-staff for weaponry.

Here's a 6" Star Wars Black series custom you never thought you'd see, the assassin droid C-3PX! Straight out of the expanded universe this dangerous protocol droid is ready to terrorize the rebellion. He was created from a Black Series 6" C-3PO with modded facial features, elbow and bicep articulation added using GI Joe sections, and a variety of pop-out weaponry like the old 3.5" Droid Factory figure featured. Airbrushed and weathered this custom C-3PX is sure to be a killer addition to the Black Series line!

"Speeding through the roads of Eternia comes Hordak's fastest henchman yet, the wheeled warrior Ry-Darr! Not content with Dragstor's speed, Hordak went about creating a cyborg warrior that could maneuver effortlessly though the battlefield while fighting He-Man's heroic forces. Ry-Darr was just what he expected and uses his stun-lance to render foes unconscious or slash away with his powerful arm blades. Watch out He-Man, fighting this cyborg will tire you out!"

Created as a buddy for Dragstor this custom Masters of the Universe Classics original character is called Ry-Darr. He was created from some sort of three-wheeled Batman robot, Extendar head, ML Sentinel shoulder pads, Redakai figure arms, Horde Trooper symbol, ML Mandroid blades, and other sculpted fodder parts. The center wheel rolls freely and you can attach a kickstand to keep him upright for poseing.

"Modulok always said four arms are better than two and Hordak took that to heart when he created his newest robot, the Horde Multi-Trooper! Equipped with a lighting fast computer brain this trooper can battle multiple opponents or focus down on one unlucky victim with deadly precision. The Horde Multi-Trooper has been programmed for both melee and ranged combat, able to wield four edged weapons or four blasters for incredible firepower on the battlefield. This trooper is truly an army of one!"

It's time for another Masters of the Universe Classics character, this time my take on a brand new type of Horde Trooper. This four armed Multi-Trooper was created from a basic Trooper and two extra arms from Flogg who shares the same arm sculpt. The lower torso/ab hinge becomes the pivot point for the new arms, you just carve out sockets in there and replace the ab peg with the pegs from the shoulders. I gave the trooper a new eye/face sculpt and decked him out in a red and gold scheme. Now he can wield four weapons at once!

Happy Halloween! What, I'm late? Well here's a fellow who's never late for all hallows eve, it's the Jack O' Lantern done in his classic look! To create this I spliced a DC Universe Copperhead torso with the legs and arms of ML Machine Man, then used ML Hobgoblin lower arms and legs on those. The head of a ML Jack O Lantern was hollowed out, put on a clear ball peg, and the back flame used to shine light through the front as a light-pipe effect instead of an LED. Jack's flight disk was created from a Marvel Transformers Capt A pop-open shield accessory and the base came from a Q-figs Deadpool explosion.

Bucky's hair was removed and an Energy Shield Superman helmet modded on. Next up was Overdrive's supercharged Segway which was fabricated from an Ultron glider base and scrap parts to complete him. He's pale and mysterious, protector of the streets under the light of a full moon. It's Moon Knight in his Mr Knight suit! This custom Marvel Legends Moon Knight was created using a basic Chameleon suit body, Scarlet Spiderman lower arms, Captain America hand set, and Blizzard head. I went as true to comic form as I could with the paint job that solely consists of a bright white basecoat and hard line shading on everything else. The effect makes him look like he stepped off the comic panel!

Straight out of Spiderman's Maximum Carnage series comes the devilish Demogoblin and here you get him in Marvel legends scale! This custom Demogoblin was created by taking a Space venom series Hobgoblin, cracking open the body and replacing it with Machine Man limbs, the original Hobgoblin lower limbs, Jack o lantern hands, and sculpted costume tears. Belts were added and his hood tip changed as well. The goblin glider was completely covered in high temp sculpted hot glue and turned into his flaming firebird glider which Demo can ride into battle!

"He's an powerful warrior and all of Eternia is grateful he's on the side of good! The dauntless Mega-Man charges his Mega-blaster and readies himself for the battle against Skeletor's minions, but will this part machine, part man emerge victorious? Always willing to help his friends, Mega-Man fights alongside He-Man and proves his mettle in battle. Watch out, this Reploid has his sights on ridding Eternia of trouble!"

Here's something you never thought you'd see, it's Megaman! But he's in Masters of the Universe Classics form this time. The Blue Bomber was created from a Skeletor body, Sauron chest armor, DC Direct Cyborg lower arms/legs, modded Mol-Larr head, Darius Helmet, and some fodder parts for energy effects and detail. This custom 'Mega-Man' was then given an airbrushed metallic blue paint job and detailed up with battle damage to show he's been fighting the forces of evil on Eternia!

-------------------------------------------

Straight out of Spiderman's Maximum Carnage series comes the villain turned savior Venom and this week I've created him for you in Marvel Legends form, uh...again! But this time I'm practicing with a new technique to add skin detail. Venom was created out of the regular Venom body and given a new head from a bootleg Venom figure featured on Ebay for a while. Lots of accessories such as clawed hands from Anti-Venom, two tongues, a carnage tendril, and a Hero Mashers Carnage-reach-effect claw were added.

The rippling, swirling skin effect is done by washing the figure then wiping the figure down in 91% alcohol first. 3D slick fabric paint is used with a Testors precision glue tip glued on to the normal thick-spout. Give the fabric paint about 7 hours to cure, paint over, then seal. You can make mustaches, eyebrows, tattered clothing bits, spines, just about anything that doesnt need a ton of detail.

"Rising up from the shifting sands of the Eternian desert comes a force unlike any other. Asleep for centuries and awakened by a shift in magical forces, Emperor Scorpious announces his claim to the entire realm. With the very earth and winds at his command and an army of desert golems, all of Eternia could feel the sting of this tyrant. Only with the combined forces of He-Man and Skeletor uniting the Power Swords once more, are the inhabitants of Eternia able to battle such a foe!"

Ready for more custom Masters of the Universe Classics characters? Here's an original character creation, the deadly Emperor Scorpious! This tyrannical desert dweller was created from a DC Multiverse Superman Doomed body, King Hissss thighs, WWE Mutants Sting lower arms and legs, Gargan Venom stinger tails x2, some card game figure knight helmet, Skeletor armor, and extra body spike detail. He was airbrushed with yellow highlights then red over those for a faded desert orange look.

"Deep in the jungle on the hottest days on Eternia a savage predator stalks his prey. Even traveling into the cities this beast knows no barriers as it searches for worthy opponents in which to take trophies from. Fortunately He-Man and Man-at-Arms have detected the invisible hunter using the mystic powers of Grayskull and are in hot pursuit! Now the hunter becomes the hunted ending in a spectacular battle of steel, plasma fire, and brawn. Can this dangerous Predator be driven back? Who will win?!"

Everyone knows I'm a big fan of crossover lines so here's another, The Predator has arrived in the Masters of the Universe Classics, uh, universe! I created a Predator using a MotuC Saurod body, NECA predator head with modded mask, DC Multiverse Mutant Leader feet, ML Odin spear combo, and a bunch of Transformers fodder parts to make the Predators oversided weapons. The burning blade gauntlet and throwing disc magnetically attach to his limbs and his plasma cannon is fully poseable as well.

Are you ready for yet another blast from the past? Get ready for the diminutive MICRONAUTS! Created in 6" Marvel Legends scale comes the heroic Time Traveler looking just like his vintage counterpart. Time Traveler was created using the Target 3-pack clear Vision body, Rogue 1 Krennic head, Iron Man feet, and Apoxie sculpted detailing on his chest and cuffs. Clear orange Tamiya acrylic paint was used for an amazing see-through effect. Now Time Traveler is ready to make his journey across the galaxy with the rest of the Micronauts!

The Micronauts have arrived from the depths of space sporting their vintage looks but in Marvel Legends 6" scale! Here I've created the terrifying villain Membros using a Beetle body, extra toes, tons of Apoxie Sculpted muscle and armor design, custom sculpted head, and fodder parts for the elongated arm weapons! He was airbrushed with all sorts of orange and red shading to keep him close to his vintage toy colors but with attention to the new detail I gave him. Membros also comes with extra claws like the reissued Palisades toy had.

Stealthy and adept with a variety of weapons, Regina is the ultimate hunter...of dinosaurs! Yes straight out of Capcom's Dino Crisis series comes the sexiest S.O.R.T. member you've been waiting for. Regina was created with a 2016 Scarlet Witch body, Xmen united Scarlet Witch lower legs, Black Widow hands, and sculpted hair/uniform sections. She was then airbrushed and given an assortment of weaponry to combat the Jurassic threat!

The rebels fear his name. The galaxy bows before him. He is an unstoppable amalgamation of man and machine, he is Darth Vader. I wanted a Vader that looked like he was in the middle of battle, not battle-damaged however. I started with a Walgreens Vader and removed the lower body skirt, replacing it with a hero mashers Vader plastic one. I modded the Hero masher's Vader head and neck to work on the body and gave him a tattered cloak, weathering his lower half with dust and mud. Two 'force choke' style hands were added and his lightsaber resculpted along with adding a longer chain for the cloak and filling on joint holes. Now I finally had my definitive 6" Black Series custom Darth Vader to command the Imperial army

He, or it knows your fears. There is nowhere to hide, nowhere to run when the Slender Man comes. It's horror time and here I've created a revamped custom Slender Man for some paranormal fun! Using the same recipe as my original Slender Man customs he starts out as a Dr Who Silence figure that's had his arms and legs lengthened in two places. This time around I added jointed feet and a ball jointed head along with a flowing tie. Some Bio-Wulf claws were ball jointed on and I created the classic thick back-tendrils that magnetically attach to Slender Man's back for a cool silhouette.

The Spirit of Vengeance takes to the streets once more in its host Johnny Blaze and is ready to punish the wicked! Here I've created a modern version of Blaze using a GotG2 Starlord body, Ghost Rider head/neck, NECA Kickass gloves, movie Electro lower legs, and a movie Steve Rogers head on Star Lord's neck. The entire neck section of the alternate heads are magnetic and lock into the body's collar allowing you switch looks. The flaming chain whip effect came from a One-Piece pvc statue and I modded a 1:12 scale chopper with sculpted hot glue flames putting high temp hot glue through a low temp gun. One classic-esq paint job later and Johnny Blaze the Ghost Rider was complete!

He's buff, tough, and rough, it's the mercenary Herk Mondo from the Aliens Colonial Marines comic book and he's ready to take on the Xenomorph hordes! Herk was created from a Marvel Legends Nuke body, Gears of War head, Steve Rogers hands, and hand sculpted armor/details. He features a gigantic rifle and techy Pulse Rifle. He even has his alien mouth belt buckle and chestburster knife just like he had in the comics!

"Yet another warrior from the Crystal Sea has emerged to claim rule over the land-dwellers, the mighty Cephalodious Lord of Limbs! Once upon the shores of Eternia Cephalodious quickly discovered there was already powerful factions waging war against each other, the Evil Skeletor battling the mighty He-Man. Would he choose a side to ally with? Or would he become yet another faction in the ongoing struggle for power in Eternia? Watching his rivals Mer-Man and Nautilor taking orders from their masters caused a swelling of disgust. His mind was made up. Cephalodious would battle not for power, but for honor alongside the heroic warriors of Eternia!"

Another custom character creation for the Masters of the Universe Classics collection, here's the mighty Cephalodious ready to lend a...tentacle in battle. He was created with the upper body of a NECA Spider Gremlin, Monster High lower body tentacles, DCU Nit-Lik modded head, and various MotUC and Skeleton Warriors armor sections. Special attention was paid to the fins and everything was airbrushed with multiple bright shades of color to make Cephalodious fit in with my other sea-based Masters of the Universe customs.

What's that sound? AHHH THERE'S SOMETHING ALIVE IN HERE WITH US! Yep, it's the slippery, slimy, cuddly Dianoga infesting your trash compactor done in 6" figure scale. This design pays homage to the vintage Kenner toy that came with the Trash Compactor Playset and was created from a Legendary Journey's of Hercules Echidna figure, various creature fodder sections, and a whole of of apoxie sculpt for the main body. With bendy tendrils to capture its pray and a load of foam trash to hide in, this Dianoga is one dangerous critter!

The deadliest of Alien guards lurk deep within the Alien hive and are armored and ready to tear into anything that threatens the colony. These are the Queen's Praetorian, a unique and powerful class of Xenomorph and this week I've created one for your hive! The Praetorian was created using the AvP warrior body with its dome and back head removed. A Revoltech Queen alien crest was grafted in its place, dome resculpted, and Mantis alien spikes added to its cheeks, arms, and hips. Other spines/blades were added and Spider Gremlin leg sections were modded into back tubes and sculpted in.

Here's something you don't see every day, a light-up Metroid with pulsing effect! Using the 6" Deluxe Metroid from jakks pacific World of Nintendo I installed inside it is a multi-LED lighting unit that can be set to eight different colors including a pulsing one. Opening the Metroid was extremely difficult seeing as the screws that hold the upper dome clasp in place are hidden under the four moving fangs which cant be pulled back out. I had to break the different posts free to disassemble it, drill out at least a hundred small nodule sections and install light piping. But in the end it was worth it! Check out the video of the pulsing effect and the nifty pics.

Straight out of the AvP Extinction video game comes the fearsome Ravager Alien Warrior! These bladed aliens are a unique and powerful class of Xenomorph that can shear through armor and hack into its prey. This week I give you one of these Ravagers to add to your collection. He was created using an NECA Mantis Alien base, warrior lower legs, Dog Alien tail ends, and star wars Acklay beast claws. The head was resculpted and given additional tubing along with a new tail and Mantis feet swapped onto the new lower legs. Testors Aztek Airbrush paints were used, the metallics specifically for a dual blue/green faded look with bone highlights.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first Star Wars film I'm creating a line of 'Concept Troopers', designs for troopers never seen before on film or in any medium. To kick it off here's my First Order E.V.A. Trooper, suited for low grav and orbital combat. He was created using a First Order Stormtrooper body and First Order Tie Pilot parts. different armored sections were added, a backpack laser unit from a Figma character, and other detail. In Mega City there's only one law, his. Roaming the streets and dispensing justice to criminals large and small comes the brutal Judge Dredd, this time in Marvel Legends form. Here you get a Dredd done 2016-movie style with muted colors and the black padded uniform. Want more of a comic version? The gold comic armor magnetically attaches for an instant appearance change! Judge Dredd was created using a movie Electro torso, movie Cap lower torso, Marvel Now cap arms, Gotg2 Starlord boots, and Winter Soldier Feet/belt. His head is the Legendary Comic Book Heroes Conan head with the LCBH Dredd helmet modded to fit. LCBH Dredd armor was modded to magnetically attach as does his Lawgiver sidearm to his hip. Straight out of the amazing Crimson Empire comic com,es the Imperial Royal Guard Kir Kanos and he's been created in the 6" Star Wars Black series this time! Being one of if not my all time favorite SW character I was thrilled to learn the basic Royal Guard had armor sculpted under the robes! Kir Kanos was created using that Royal Guard, First Order Stormtrooper lower arms, and an alternate head created by combining a first series ML Star Lord head with young Peter Parker hair and some sculpting. Hit Girl's twin bladed staff was modded to create his vibro-staff and his helmet took extensive resculpting to remove the collar and get it to sit lower. But after detailing his armor and adding his black undersuit Kir Kanos was finished, and boy and I pleased. Next week, Carnor Jax will join him so keep an eye out.

For more pics head to Kir's page here: Custom SW Black series Kir Kanos (http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/JinsDangerousToys2/KirKanosBlack.html)

------------------------------------------------------

He's half man, half tank, but all attitude! Here's the evil mutant, well cyborg, Bonebreaker! You may remember him from the vintage toybiz Xmen line and here he is in Marvel Legends form. I went with a modern look for him instead of the 80's look here giving him all sorts of weaponry. Bonebreaker's upper body is comprised of a basic medium ML body, movie juggernaut head, Fantomex hands, and TMNT baxter stockman robot-head body along with some hoses. His lower tank is a combination of a Terminator tank, MARS treads, Transformers, Halo, GI Joe, Spawn, and probably every other toy line fodder part that looked the part. Bonebreaker can aim his Gatling gun cannon around and the twin-barreld one on the other side moves as well. Roll him and his upper body swivels back and forth to aim at his enemies!

"When Castle Grayskull was suddenly surrounded by a massive army of mindless goblins controlled my Skeletor's Dementia Ray, King Randor knew he had to send for He-Man's help or be overrun! What he needed a distraction, something that would draw the horde to one area of the castle walls allowing a single guard to escape. Commissioning Man-At-Arms to create a golem from scrap parts and using Orko's magic to animate it, Distractus was born! This clanking, whirring, blinking, spinning, creation made its way out into battle and drew the goblin horde's attention. Remarkably it survived and aided He-Man in defeating the army. Distractus was later repaired by Roboto and earned its place as a member of the Eternain Royal Guard."

Enter Distractus, an original custom character creation! With a working Figit Spinner shield and cube for head he's the most gimicky MOTU figure out there. Distractus was created from a Darius body, Extendor arm, Transformers battlers arm, Mr Freeze foot, Doomed Superman leg, Galactic Skeletor body cover, and a whole bunch of fodder wires, parts, and pieces. The Figit shield magnetically attaches to his left arm and can be removed, same as his head to be used separately.

Straight out of the Crimson Empire comics comes the Imperial Royal Guard Carnor Jax created in 6" Black Series scale. Following last week's Kir Kanos I just had to make his nemesis. Using a black series Royal Guard body, Kylo Ren lower arms, sculpted gauntlets, I modded the helmet with the nosepiece and went to work. Hit Girl's bladed staff was perfect for his weapon and extra plastic was trimmed for added range of motion. Now Carnor Jax can track down and battle the traitor Kir Kanos to the death!

"Little is known about the robotic villain Knightrax except that he excels in hunting his prey with deadly precision. With all sorts of sensors to detect movement, changes in temperature, magical aura, and more, this fearsome hunter cannot be shaken off a trail once he, or it is locked on. With his laser sights set on Roboto for his next hunt, Knightrax holds a special grudge against the hero after a humiliating defeat earlier. Now equipped with a powerful shoulder cannon and seismic hammer, Knightrax swears to Hordak that he will not return without Roboto's metal head in his claws!"

Here's an original character creation, Horde Hunter Knightrax! Part machine, part hunter and all deadly, he's ready to track down the heroes for Hordak and exact his revenge. Knightrax was created from a General Sundar body, Darius vest, Funko Pop Mini Assaultron head, doc ock tentacle claws, and various fodder pieces. His shoulder cannon can be removed and he comes with a seismic hammer he can wield in his claws to defeat his enemies.

"During the Battle for the Aero Aegis the valiant Stratos and his ally Buzz-Off broke into Hordak's flying fortress to deliver the final blow that would bring it down. But what they discovered was a secret army! Hordak had opened a portal to another dimension where the beings there could control the very winds. Making a bargain with the Tyrants of Wind, Hordak was given an army of their Enforcers to help in his part of the conquest. Agile and incredibly armored these Horde Enforcers easily overpowered the two heroes as Hordak laughed from his throne. "With the power of the wind at my command, no Eternian can stop me!" he bellowed...and he was right. Help wouldn't come from Eternia, but the very dimension he had opened a portal to."

The Horde Enforcer character is based off the vintage line of Air Raiders toys, the Tyrants of Wind Enforcer! Originally a diminutive 1-inch tall figure I've recreated him in 7" MotUC scale using a Flogg body, Dark Knight Returns vest, Icarius boots, Lex Luthor power armor shoulder pads, and one of the spare alternate horde trooper head from General Sundar. Keep an eye out because I'll be making the orange and tank heroic Air Raiders too!

-----------------------------------------------------------

"The beings that had entered into Eternia through Hordak's dimensional portal were of two distinct factions, the Heroic Air Raiders and the Tyrants of Wind. Both groups had complete mastery of the air allowing them to channel it through great machines and survive pressures far greater than any living thing on Eternia's surface. Hordak had allied himself with the Tyrant's Enforcers. Little did he know that the Air Raiders were watching and soon used the portal to storm through! Damaging wings ripped Hordak's flying fortress in half, scattering the combatants and freeing the prisoners! Buzz-Off and Stratos returned to Grayskull with word of the Heroic Air Raiders leaving He-Man to ponder just what to do about the two armies that had decided to battle it out on Eternia."

This character is based off the vintage line of Air Raiders toys! Originally a diminutive 2-inch tall heroic Air Raiders figure I've recreated him in 7" MotUC scale. The Air Raider was created using a Hydron body and chest piece, Eternian guard waist armor, Evolve Markos modded arms, DC Cyborg lower legs, and a modded Funko Mini Doom soldier head. Air Raider was painted close enough to the vintage figure's two color scheme but with enough extra detail to make it match the MOTUC figure line.

"In the Game Master's Cosmic Arena an ongoing struggle for glory and freedom is fought and Blade-Bash exists to win! However he wasn't always a razor sharp opponent. Once a blacksmith on his home planet Blade-Bash was the best at creating and repairing the weapons of war yet never wielding his creations. One day that changed when his kingdom was invaded and he was forced to take up the very arms he created. Game Master was watching from afar and was impressed enough to capture Blade-Bash with his teleporter, adding him to the cosmic combatants. Armed with razor gauntlets and a spinning blade collar of his own design Blade-Bash keeps his opponents at a distance until he's ready to strike!"

Get ready for more Cosmic Combatants, Blade-Bash has arrived! Armed with a real metal spinning blade collar you'll be hard pressed to find a more fearsome figure. Blade-Bashw as created using a basic MotUC body, Flogg lower legs, Stratos harness, Dark Knight Returns head, metal blade-finger-spinner for the collar, and Skylanders fist weapons from some fighting penguin character. The neck had to be heavily modded and the shoulders lowered/shoulder balls modded to clear the collar. It spins perfectly and keeps the figure balanced with the gyroscopic motion!

Straight out of the Star Wars comics comes the Imperial Shadow Guard which I've created in 6" Black Series scale! The recipe is simple, one regular 6" red Royal Guard! Sure you could paint him black but I've gone a different route, dying him. For this you'll need Rit Dymore rather than the normal Rit dye you find in the grocery store. The Dymore works on polyester and nylon and is the only thing that will dye his soft plastic and red cloak black. You'll need to remove the paint from the front and back of his crotchplate and breast plate for a complete dye job. Everything else dyes black on the first soak.

Follow the directions for stovetop dying and make sure to put his cloak down in the pot first so the plastic never touches the hot metal of the pot bottom! Then create a lightsaber pike from his original force pike, add details like his visor and grey highlights. I also gave him an alternate cape like the Shadow Guard often has in the comics.

The Fwoosh's line of Articulated Icons, The Feudal Series action figures are an amazing addition to your 6" scale collection giving you all sorts of ninja and samurai characters. Here's a special customized AI figure, Jubei Kibagami from the Ninja Scroll anime! Jubei was created from combining a Seijun Body with a Shoken head, adding new lower sleeves from a Pirates of the Caribbean figure, and bare arms from the arms/hands/wraps pack. A straw hat was added and he was completely repainted head to toe for an anime-accurate look. Now the legendary wandering ninja Jubei is ready for battle!

The diminutive but powerful Micronauts are back and as promised I have another custom, the mighty Acroyear! If you remember I created Membros and Time Traveler before. Well Acroyear is scaled to be a 'BAF' of sorts to this line. Standing 8" tall the Acroyear was created from a warlock series Colossus, Armored Core robot lower legs, sculpted chest/shoulders, Kryptonian armor Superman head, Energon Shockblast cannon part for antenna, Titans Return Transformers Laser Prime Sword, Beetle backpack and House of M Wolverine flight backpack fans. A vintage paint job was applied with plenty of metallic gloss effects, and shading to really make the detail pop on this classic Micronauts character!

The Fwoosh's line of Articulated Icons: The Feudal Series action figures are an amazing addition to your 6" scale collection and here I've created a special customized AI figure, Guy from Capcom's Final Fight video game! To create Guy I used a basic Ninja body, trimmed the lower torso down and wrapped it, used shoes from a bendy clothed skater figure, modded Seijun head, and added foam to the backs of the hands. Guy comes with classic weapons found in the game including nunchucka, a sword, dagger, and lead pipe so he can fight the Mad Gear Gang!

"The basic Horde Trooper whether a robotic minion or a magical suit of armor, well they can't quite get every job done. Sure they can invade a kingdom and fight on a battlefield but Hordak wanted more. He wanted utility in his legions, something new to throw at She-Ra and He-Man. Enter the specialized Horde Troopers! The Aqua Trooper is able to survive crushing depths and uses powerful sonar blasts to locate and incapacitate its enemies. The Slime Trooper is resistant to all acidic compounds and can slather the enemy in a mind-controlling ooze. With these new Troopers all of Eternia was sure to fall to Hordak's grasp!"

Ready to add to your Horde Trooper army? Here's a set of brand new unique Horde Troopers to help take on She-Ra and He-Man's heroic forces! They were made from basic Horde Troopers, the Aqua Trooper using the head from General Sundar's pack with added tubing, Hydron flippers, and sculpt. The Slime Trooper uses a Mr Freeze backpack, sculpt and fodder for the breather mask, and shoulder armor from a Flashpoint Cyborg.

From the mobile Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes game comes the fearsome Tusken Shaman to add to your Sand People ranks! He's a concept character and here I've recreated him in 6" Black series scale. The base body is of course the 6" Black Series Tusken Raider with a Spawn Scourge skull headpiece, Predator dreads, and new eyeport/breather mask features. Tusken Shaman was given a cowl and different skirt/pouch detail and paint work to mirror how his ingame character appears. Now you can add to your ranks of Sand People with this unique looking Tusken!

"MAGNETIC TEMPEST!!" When you heard those words in the Marvel vs Capcom game you knew you were about to lose someone to the fastest character in the game, Magneto! Here I've created a MvC2 styled Magneto to fit in with your Marvel legends collection and he comes with all the bells and whistles! Magneto's base body is all Wonder Man with sculpted armor and detail with a cast Helmet. Magnetic tempest effects are random parts attached to a pair of removable hands. Two different hand sets were added, open Spidey palms and Wonder Man's closed fists with repainted energy effects that were perfect for Magneto's ingame power effects. He hovers using a modded Tamiashii crater base and Figma stand!

A nasty foe of the X-men and cosmic Marvel characters, this week I've created a flying Brood Warrior to add to your ranks! This nasty xeno was created using a MechaX4 Chameleo-Wasp base, spawn demon tail tendrils, modded Toybiz Brood head, Preometheus Trilobyte tails, and tube critters crab parts. A BAF Annihilus shoulder was used to create the neck joint and the whole figure was airbrushed with different shading and highlights.

Move over Sunfire, Sunspot is burning his way into the scene! This hot-headed New Mutant was created by using a Marvel Legends UK Spiderman, Human Torch head, attaching energy bubble sections to his arms, and Shocker's seismic rings with the bubbles painted black. The deepest black and gloss coat sealer was used to get his comic look down so Sunspot could be ready to put the burn on anyone who stands in his way!

He's one cool customer, it's X-men's Iceman! Ready to put the chill on the bad guys, this Iceman was designed to fit into both your comic and movie style collections. Iceman was created using a Demo-Man body with Iceman head, arms, and lower legs grafted on. His back spikes were modded to fit against the collar and frost rings created out of the basic hex-effects. Clear blue Tamiya paint was used on his ice body then frosted with airbrush highlights. Opalescent paint was also used on the frost effects to give them a shimmering ice quality.

Sabertooth is back and he's looking....classic! Straight from his first appearance fighting Wolverine, this Sabertooth was made with the basic large ML body, cast heads of the Toybiz Face-Off Sabertooth and cowl fur, and sculpted limb fur. He was airbrushed for shading and sealed using combinations of Liquitex matte/satin/gloss archival varnish.

It's time once again for some TMNT goodness and this sporty do-gooder is sure to give Shredder and his goons a bad time! Casey Jones arrives in vintage style, created to look like the toy you had as a child but updated for the 7" scale of the new figures. Casey was made from the body and lower legs of a First Blood NECA Rambo, Predator Dutch arms, Splinter Cell feet, and random fodder hands. An original Playmates Casey Jones head was modded for the neck joint and added, as were the weapons/golf bag. This pays great tribute to the original Playmates sculpts, truly ahead of their time and withstanding the years as well.

You have an X-men collection don't you? Be it Marvel Legends, Select, 1:12 Collective, or 1/6th scale, I have the base for you! Here's a custom light-up Sentinel hand that can be used to display different action figure scales. It was created from a Rubies Iron man hand wall deco set. The foam was hollowed out and finger holes filled. An LED unit was installed along with removable plug-in wiring with a hidden switch that makes the palm blaster light up! Lots of airbushing and repainting the rock base/modding the hidden switch was the final step before this fallen Sentinel hand was finished. Now your X-men team can stand triumphant no matter their scale!

Fear his robot head fleshy ones, it's Machine Man! Straight from the Nextwave comics series I bring you this custom Aaron Stack created in Marvel Legends form. He was created using the man-thing wave Bullseye's body/hands, Punisher coat and arms, resculpted evil Warlock head, and Aves Studios apoxie sculpt detailing. His weapon pods can be attached to his wrists and are created from lots of fodder tech-weapon parts from various lines. You can also equip Machine Man with his trademark extendo-wrists. The entire figure was airbrushed with shadows, highlights, and sealed with Liquitex archival varnish.

He's the director of SHIELD but this time he's teamed up with the Punisher for some vigilante justice, it's Nick Fury! The 1993 Punisher Arcade Game featured Nick as the player 2 character and here I created him in Marvel Legends form to scale alongside your Punisher from the retro/vintage card series of ML. Nick Fury uses the same Punisher body, modded Nick Fury head/webgear, and medium body feet. Demo man's belt/leg holster were used and various details sculpted using Aves apoxie sculpt. I originally painted his sweater a mottled brown color to match the game sprite but found the original Japanese game art depicting him in a much better looking orange and went with that, airbrushing the entire figure with shading and highlights. Add a stogie like he smokes through the entire game, even while fighting, and Nick fury was ready to fight alongside the Punisher!

This week you're in for a treat, truly a 'dangerous toy' that you've been asking me to create. I bring you the ultimate Marvel Legends Weapon-X with real carbon steel claws and bloody rage effect! Logan was created using the retro-card Wolverine body, machine man calves/hands, Target 3-pack clear Vision feet, and a modded Toybiz Weapon-X helmet head. I styled him to look like the new statue and added all sorts of ports, straps, backpack, and hoses to complete the look. Wolverine was airbrushed with shading and highlights then sealed with Liquitex archival varnish. His claws were milled and filed from carbon steel tines then clear-coated so they don't rust.

Be it conquering a nation or pouring a goblet of wine, you can usually find one of his robotic servants at the ready. Here I have Doombot Drone for your monarch to lord over! Doombot was created using the Heroes Reborn Iron Man body, Black Series Guavian's head, Ultron lower legs, and movie Ultron hands. Additional blaster hands were created using fodder parts and a machine man extendo wrist. Multiple types of airbrushed shading were used on the green armor and underbody as well.

This week I'm bringing you another one of Spider-Man's rogue's gallery, the fiery foe Molten Man! He was created using a Toybiz Carnage base body, resculpted lower limbs with fodder hands, Sunfire belt, and old DCU Major Force head. Four-horsemen Scarabus flames were added as well as a movie Human Torch fire effect. A special mix of bronze, gold, and copper metallics were used and bright yellows/clear orange for his molten core effects were painted in. Need to sneak around in the shadows? Ready to put the hurt on Daredevil or that pesky Wolverine? Then bolster your ninja ranks with this Hand Ninja Temple Guard! I created this stealthy assassin to kick off a series of variant Hand Ninja to stand out from the normal sea of plain red ones. The Temple Guard was made using the movie Dr Strange Mordo body, movie Black Panther lower legs and hands, Machine man alt hands, a classic Hand Ninja head, and Sub Zero loincloth. He was painted using Testors Aztek Airbrush acrylic, Formula P3 paints, and Games Workshop metallics. Now to make some more specialized Hand Ninja...

He's the cutest, slimiest, hungriest little Demodog out there, Dart! You know it from Stranger Things Season 2 and here I'm bringing you a fully articulated version scaled to the McFarlane figure line. Dart was created using a NECA Neomorph body with shortened limbs and the Funko 3.5" Demogorgon head and limbs grafted on. I used the back of the Neomorph's head as Dart's tail and gave him the Demodog green/brown/black skin coloration with the exception of Dart's yellow left side markings. Now when McFarlane releases their Dustin figure he can have a Dart to go on adventures with!

"Creepy and crawly doesn't begin to describe Antrocious. Hordak locked him away in the deepest darkest dungeon of the Fright Zone but Antrocious still managed to burrow his way out and cause havoc! His destructive claws are matched only by his equally destructive appetite with the insane insectoid warrior munching on everything from other prisoners to Horde Troopers. The best Hordak can hope for is to turn Antrocious loose, point him towards the enemy, then fall back quickly!"

Here's another original character creation for the Masters of the Universe Classics line, the fearsome Antrocious! He was created using a Leech body, Thor Ragnarok Mystery mini chase Miek head, fodder claws from an evil TMNT Donatello arm guards, and Flogg feet. "A brave member of the Fire Marshall Brigade, Man-A-Blaze was always seeking new techniques to extinguish and ultimately control fire. He crafted a special fireproof suit that allowed him to walk unscathed through any inferno. Deciding to test its limits Man-A-Blaze lowered himself into one of Eternia's active volcanoes. While the suit protected him from the heat he disturbed an ancient evil that possessed him. Now Man-A-Blaze must remain in the containment suit as he seeks a way to expel the essence that turns him into a blazing effigy when flame is near!"

Here's an original character creation for the Masters of the Universe Classics line, Man-A-Blaze! Firefighter turned flaming fiend, Man-A-Blaze was created from a ML BAF Arnim Zola torso, MoTUC Icarius arms, Geldor lower legs, Karatti hands, Man-E-Faces head with alt inner head, Sauron waist armor, and Rio-Blast thigh armor. Inside his chest is a motion sensor that pulses when tapped so you can see the flames behind the glass. You can also switch his face from hero to skeletal effigy, to blank if you want an empty firesuit for your Grayskull armor collection.

Before he became Baron Frostbone he was Virkon, leader of the Northmen clan, a wise and powerful warrior. Then the winter came, an unending cold that froze the very souls of men. In search of refuge the Northmen traveled into the mountain. But the cold found them and threatened to wipe out every man woman and child. Virkon made and deal with the Winter Spirits that if they would spare his clan he would do their bidding for a thousand years. Now transformed into Baron Frostbone, this once proud warrior stalks the frozen Eternian tundra in search of souls to freeze!

Here's another original character creation for your Masters of the Universe Classics collection, the fearsome Baron Frostbone! He was created using an Icer body, Scareglow cast head, Skeleton warriors hands, Calix armor/lower arms/legs, King Chooba loincloth, and a Magic the gathering character's fur cloak. Various icy effects were applied for a fearsome frosted look.

"When the magic of Skeletor's Chaos Crystal crossed with Hordak's dimensional portal magic all sorts of rifts began opening across their two worlds and into others far away. One opened on Planet Beast and Ferocious Tiger was the first to investigate this swirling anomaly. Finding himself whisked away to Eternia the valiant beastformer scouted the immediate area and went back through, calling out to the Lion Family for aid. What Ferocious Tiger didn't know is that Beast-Man was watching everything and had plans of his own...to steal Skeletor's Chaos Crystal and rule Planet Beast himself!"

Behold, the Battle Beasts have arrived! Straight from the diminutive toy line of the 80's comes a re-imagined versions of Ferocious Tiger in all his feline glory. Here I've recreated Ferocious Tiger in the Masters of the Universe Classics 7" scale using a Carnivous body, GotG BAF head, Realm of the Claw paws, Dragstor harness, Iron man lower legs, KO Hulkbuster lower arms, and various armor parts along with sculpted detail to complete his look. Terrax's axe became his dual spiked club and I added the missile launcher shoulder as well!

Transformers are a line I haven't focused on in years but today I give you a POTP Vehicon to combine with whatever combiner torso you may own. He's basically the Off-road mold but with a new deco, movie Dinobot head, and Hot Shot's weapons so you can have two matching grey arm/leg sections without doubling up on the same character.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

On the Titans Return side I created Brawn as a deluxe Headmaster using a Korean Athalon Ambulance character. A Titans Return neck port was modded in place of the original head and various shoulder/back sections filed down so Brawn's retail head fit in there. A gloss metallic green paint job was added, lots of detailing, and Brawn was ready to stand tall with a new body!

"Unsatisfied with the current effectiveness of the Fright Zone, Hordak immersed himself in ancient texts searching for a way to rouse even more fear from those who enter it. An ancient ritual from another dimension promised horrors beyond imagination but the pages describing the costs of performing such had been gnawed away by pests over the centuries. Hordak could wait no longer and began, summoning forth a gateway to the Nightmare Dimension! Its powers warped his body inside and out transforming Hordak into a monstrous winged creature. Now with the power to absorb the fears of others and alter himself and matter around him to mimic them, Hordak began to transform the Fright Zone into the Nightmare Realm!"

It's time for an all new original creation and boy this one is a doozy. Introducing Nightmare Hordak, the biggest Masters of the Universe Classics custom character I've made to date! He was created from a Toybiz ML Onslaught BAF body, 200X snake arms Skeletor, Ben 10 alien hands/spider legs, Hordak head, baf ML Annihilus wings, haloween bendy skeleton snake tail, and spawn bone fodder. Different airbrush and gloss effects were used on Hordak and he looks menacing when placed on his flight stand to lord over his minions or attack He-Man like the nightmare he is!

Guardians of the Galaxy introduced Mantis to us, a naive bubbly girl...that wasn't anything like the comic character. Here I've given the MCU Mantis her comic roots including a brand new outfit! She was created using an Enchantress body, Mantis BAF head, BP Nakia lower arms/hands, Hope Summers lower legs, Darkness back spines for bra-fins, and a MTG Ciandra armor/Enchantress skirt mashup. The armor skirt is removable so he can go for a dip in the pool and you can swap between gripping or fighting hands. Two daggers were fashioned out of a bow and Mantis was given a sexy metallic paint job to get the job done. Now that's the deadly Mantis I remember from the comics!

"Each day the Chaos Crystal was active within Skeletor's lair more and more portals opened - these strange dimensional tears opening all over Eternia. From a far off universe, where Earth had been rendered a wasteland and only intelligent machines roamed. One machine, the Protector class, Ripsaw, was drawn to the portal's light and sucked in! Now, finding itself in a dimension of magic and technology, Ripsaw must find a way to contact his fellow Starriors so they too can learn about this strange land."

Another toy line of the 80's, the Starriors arrive! This week we have a re-imagined version of the Protector class Ripsaw, created in MotUC scale. Using the original head and weapon arm of the figure I took a Rotar body, Extendar limbs, MARS robot lower legs, Captain America Mecha feet, and a Zoid-crab shell for the metallized shield. The shield is magnetic and attached to Ripsaw's original spinning blade-shield arm which was grafted on. Spaz-Stix mirror Chrome airbrush paint was used on the larger shield. Different foil warning/caution stickers were applied like the vintage toy featured and Ripsaw was given metallic blue airbrushed highlights.

"After the battle with Thanos was over the Infinity Gems were safe with Adam Warlock and Earth's mightiest heroes were tired and battered from the battle. Using Thanos' ship's technology Tony Stark began to repair the Avengers outfits and...wait...where was Peter Parker? He had stumbled into a room with a shifting black mass that suddenly changed, displaying his very own spider-symbol! Opening the containment vessel the 'suit' latched on to him and transformed into a darker version of his current Iron-Spider uniform. It must be Stark's tech....right? Swinging off to show his best friend Ned his new duds Peter marvels at the strength and speed built into the suit, a grin forming at the corner of his mouth....and his mask."

Ok, so this probably isn't going to happen in the upcoming Avengers Infinity War movie but wouldn't that be a perfect MCU Venom suit origin? I thought so and this week I bring a special concept character Infinity War Symbiote Spider-Man that can be changed into a pre-Venom form! He was created with the Infinity Wars Iron Spider body with venom modded head, squinty eye Homecoming head/fists, GI Joe plant tendrils, and modded Killmonger clawed hands. I used gloss for panels and raised sections and it took forever to detail the white spider sections on his body and inside his swivel shoulders. But it was worth it, now you have a MCU Symbiote Spiderman that has a Venom/Agent Venom vibe.

Here's a figure that's been requested again and again in 6" scale, it's Rom the Space Knight! I've created this mighty robotic warrior this week to battle your cosmic villains in all his shiny glory using a movie Cyborg, beetle arms, hand sculpted Apoxie sculpt head/chest/details, and a custom space blaster. I used Rustoleum gloss black lacquer as a basecoat and airbrushed Spaz-Stix mirror chrome over every inch while the lacquer was tacky to the touch. A light gloss coat of liquitex sealed the chrome and Rom was ready to battle cosmic baddies!

"The sorcerer Keldor like his father before him wished for ultimate power and would do virtually anything to achieve it. In an attempt to best his brother Randor in a duel for their father's Book of Legacies, Keldor's spell was reflected back upon him. With the spell slowly transmuting his flesh to bone Keldor escaped to his mentor Hordak's lair begging for aid. Hordak was able to stop the transformation from progressing but the damage that had been done was permanent leaving Keldor with a skeletal head. Now dubbing his apprentice 'Skeletor', the tyrant Hordak placed him in a position of authority over his armies fitting for one with such a frighting visage!"

With a Masters of the Universe movie on the horizon (maybe?) I really wanted to update the look of the character Skeletor. Multiple statues, artwork, and various figure styles like the 200X and Classics were my inspiration here and I hope to have combined those looks into the ultimate Movie Skeletor! He was created by using an armored Kratos body, MotUC Skeletor face/hands/armor sections, 200X feet/waist armor,LotR armor, Kylo Ren head, and a Destiny cloak. The cloak is removable and he comes with his classic Havoc Staff and Power Sword. Vasrious skulls, chains, and other details were added and he was airbrushed for a perfect finish. Standing 8" tall this Skeletor is truly the fearsome nemesis that He-Man deserves!

It was the most amazing part of Metal Gear solid for some, the moment when the Cyborg Ninja reveals himself! Armed with a razor sharp sword Gray Fox was able to take on anyone or anything in his path and here I bring him to you in Marvel legends form. The Black Panther wave Iron Man's body is almost a perfect sculpt of Fox right down to the helmet, which is just missing the mono-eye. Using Aves Apoxie Sculpt I added armor, modded the face, and added panel sections to the Iron man body. A metallic airbrushed paint job was added and alternate hands so he can wield his sword in battle. Bondic liquid UV resin was used to create a transparent eye in the helmet once I had the socket in place.

Have you ever said to yourself, "Man I wish that One:12 collective Deadpool wasn't that 'Marvel-now-new-52-whatever version and his classic look instead, but with a shrunken down Bowen statue head?" Yeah you have and guess what, I got you fam...I mean, yes I have granted your very wish! Here I combined the harnesses and gear of a Marvel Legends Deadpool, added black cuffs and collar parts, and used a shrunken down Bowen bust head to make it happen. Parts of his suit were airbrushed and lined in with shading to add detail and Deadpool was given an assortment of weapons to get the job done. His sword sheathes were modded to cross over his back as well!

When bullets start flying Deadpool is like an ammo-sponge getting himself shot up every time he's out doing his thing. Well not anymore! When the job requires the merc-with-a-mouth to be the merc-with-the-mechanical-muscles Deadpool dons his armored outfit equipped with everything he needs to keep his uniform intact. Ripped in half by the Juggernaut? Not this time! Blown to pieces by explosive barrels? That just tickles! Armored Deadpool was created by using a DC Collectibles Batman vs Superman body, One:12 collective Deadpool head, Genji hands, Titanfall pilot accessories/pouches/gear, and Samurai Spawn swords. The entire figure was weathered and detailed for a movie look and given a Liquitex varnish sealant.

If you're looking for Bludgeon and love the G1 look then I have the figure for you! Based off of the Revenge of the Fallen tank and sporting a Headrobots custom noggin comes the most detailed Bludgeon yet. He's been customized with a magnetic removable turret you can attach to his arm just like the G1 Pretender. Bludgeon features the two-faced headrobots head and solid chromed blades that store in the turret. I went with the G1 color scheme and worked it into both modes adding weathering effects too. Sealed and able to be completely transformed, Bludgeon is ready to slice up some Autobots!

An unstoppable mercenary from a dark era, Guts stands alone atop the bodies of his fallen enemies. If you've ever watched the anime or read the manga he doesn't need any more of an introduction than that, this is the Black Swordsman himself! Here I've created Guts for you in a movie-realistic look that will fit in with your 6-7" scale figures. He was created from a ML Ragnarok 2-pack Thor body, NECA Chris Redfield modded head, star wars arm fodder, Front Mission mech hand, BvS Armored Batman cape/Kylo Ren cowl, and a scratch built sword. That's right, the entire sword aside from the handle was made from cut styrene and plastic sections, you can see WIP shots on my instagram @jinsaotome. Tons of muddy, blood spalttered, rusty detail was added and Guts was sealed up with Liquitex archival matte/satin varnish.

"The mechanical maniac known as Commander Clank is a true terror on the battlefield! Created for all out war and commander of a vast robotic army, Clank was programmed with an eon's worth of battle strategies by the Battling Ancients. With twin cannons that launch powerful volleys and a hidden chest gun Commander Clank was ready to conquer the flesh-walkers of Eternia....that is until Mechanasis' power supplies were destroyed. Centuries later Hordak stumbled upon the lost city and powered Clank up gaining a new Commander for his forces of evil!"

Another one of my original character creations, Commander Clank explodes into your Masters of the Universe collection with twin cannons blasting! He was created from a Twistoid upper body, multi-bot lower half, Horde Trooper feet, a Skylanders head, and Rio-Blast armor/backpack. I modded the jaw to move and fashioned two large cannons that I think came from a Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End toy to the sliding posts. A magnetic chest-mounted Gatling gun attachment finishes the look of this battlefield bot along with a lot of metallic paint effects and weathering.

This week I bring you a 7" Casey Jones figure that scales with all of your NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (comic, video game, movie) so they can have some help in defeating Shredder. Casey was created from a Dean Ambros WWE deluxe body, John Cena arms, Thor hands, original TMNT Casey Jones modded head, real fabric bandages, golf bag with sports weapons and various fodder straps/shoulderpad. "Long ago a powerful artifact was forged called the Ram Stone. This mystical relic was able to defeat any magical barrier and imbue its wielder with incredible strength. The Faceless One never told the Council of the Wise where he obtained the Ram Stone from...and now its true master has returned to claim it! Ram-Lord is a being not seen by Eternians for eons, powerful in his own right but unstoppable when charged with the Ram Stone's magic. He will stop at nothing to reclaim what was stolen from him and threatens all of Eternia with his destructive force!"

Another one of my original character creations, Ram-Lord was based off the Ram-Stone accessory that came with the Faceless One figure. Rammy was created using a Calix body, Doomsday baf head, tmnt Rocksteady hands, Parademon feet, and an overwatch mini helmet. I layered different greens and yellow shading to get a glowing effect and the Ram Stone magnetically attaches to his chest so it can be 'stolen' from him by your other figures! "Since the dystopian days of 2017 one man clad in golden armor wields a mighty sword against those who would do our nation harm. He puts America First and stands like a mighty wall between all those who would invade and plunder its riches. Relentlessly attacked by enemies foreign and domestic, Emperor Donald Trump quashes the globalist forces by laying down law and order throughout the land. With the power of the American voice flowing through his veins and the whispers of Conservative values in his ears Emperor Trump battles the Anti-First-Amendment-Mutants that plague the land. The choice was made to Make America Great Again and with his supporters rallying to defeat the Anti-FA, mighty Emperor brought about change and prosperity to the USA, ALL HAIL EMPEROR TRUMP!"

Ok, maybe Donald Trump doesn't go around wearing power armor and smiting enemies with a giant sword but the 'God Emperor Trump' meme was pretty cool, superimposing Trump's head on the Warhammer 40K character. You may have seen it on facebook and image boards, and I decided to create a 6" Marvel Legends scale figure of him. I used a NECA Heroes of the Storm Tyrael body, cast Donald Trump head, DCD Aquaman hands, Digimon armor, and different fodder parts including metal eagles/wing symbols to create him. His standard was made using a Marvel Select Doctor Doom throne banner, Namor trident, and American flag ribbon. A very extensive weathered gold metallic paint job was airbrushed on to complete his glorious look.

The mute Anti-Fa Mutant was created by H.E.R. think tank and programmed to destroy life and liberty using its hammer and sickle weapons! It uses a Classics Beast body, Thundercats animated Tigra lower body, mini Blizzard Protoss head, a modded Thor Hammer, Jack-O-Lantern's sickle, and Black Series Kylo Ren's cloth body cloak. Watch out citizens, don't let the Anti-FA catch you on the streets at night unarmed!

Sigma has been a staple in the Mega Man X games but we never got a fully articulated version of him, just a statue. Well no longer! Here I've created a Build-A-Figure style Sigma to scale to your Marvel Legends and Megaman figma series using an Onslaught body, Thanos hands/bent, Mandroid lower legs, Magneto cape, and Loyal Subjects Sigma head. A Titanfall pilot backpack bast was used for his beam-saber and various chest/leg/designs were sculpted using Aves Studio's Apoxie Sculpt, the best two-part modeling compound out there. Fox Sports Robot pads were used for his shoulderpads, Deadman collar, Sigma 6 GI Joe spiked bangles, and lex luthor codpiece were used in his creation as well. Sigma was then airbrushed with metallics then shaded for a glossy, robotic look. Watch out Megaman, Sigma has arrived!

What if the Shocker hadn't become the Vaporizer in the Spider-Man Homecoming movie and was given a chance to don his classic costume? I wondered that too and figured it was time for a fully-poseable movie style Shocker to make his...uh...shocking appearance! Ol Shocker here was created from a Star Wars Black series DJ, FO Snowtrooper lower legs, Marvel's Shocker head, backpack, and gauntlets (which happen to be the model as movie Crossbones) Dark knight Movie masters John Robin Blake police jacket, and all sorts of armor/fodder/tech bits/straps for his makeshift power pack. His gear was given the oily rusty metal treatment and finished his costume in his classic colors. Finally Warlock's energy blasts with some white bubbles made the perfect charge effect. Now Homecoming Spider-Man has someone else to battle!

It's a gun! It's a plane! It's a tank! It's MEGATRON! Ok this time he's a tank and here I'm bringing him to you in oversized voyager scale as you remember him in the G2 toyline. Megatron was created using a 7.5" Wei Jiang scaled up voyager Hardhead. The metal chest panel was removed and sculpted over as was the M on his waist and a voyager Megatron face grafted onto the headmaster. A classic G2 paint scheme was achieved by airbrushing on a base of green followed by purple camo, then weathered, detailed, and finally sealed. Now you can have a voyager scale G2 Megatron to battle your Voyager PotP Laser Prime!

"The saying one man's trash is another man's treasure has never rang so true than when Bot-Fly is rummaging through a pile! From broken Eternian Guard armor to a trashed Horde Trooper, nothing goes to waste with Bot-Fly continually replacing parts and upgrading himself with the latest trash thrown out. With no true allegiance to speak of Bot-Fly just hovers around stealing bits of this and that, occasionally capturing a meddlesome hero or villain in his Fly-Trap mace should they object. Will this buzzing garbage collector be a friend or foe to those who cross him?"

Here's another original custom creation for your Masters of the Universe Classics collection, the buzzing Bot-Fly! This persistent pest was created from a Dark Knight upper body, Toybiz Warlock arm, TMNT Baxter Stockman head/claw, Evil Seed chestplate, Buzz-Off wings, and Galactic Skeletor feet. He was airbrushed, weathered, and sealed so he can be handled. His Fly-trap mace was created using a Horde Trooper staff and a Green lantern movie accessory.

You've captured Venom, locked up your Rhino Build-a-Figure, and jailed Omega Red...but who's going to keep tabs on them? Enter the Vault Guardsman ready to join your 6" scale Marvel legends collection. This Guardsman was created using a Whirlwind body, Iron man lower arms/Legs, and a Eel head. All details were sculpted on using Aves Studio's Apoxie Clay, similar to Apoxie Sculpt but holds finer detail and sticks better to glossy surfaces. Guardsman was equipped with a repulsor blast and taser blasts to subdue inmates. Testors Aztek Airbrush acrylic metallic green was used for his armor and a mix of Games Workshop and Formula P3 paints for his lime green and shading were used.

My post-apocalyptic Transformers are back and the "End of the Road" series continues! In the far future humankind has become all but extinct and the war between Autobot and Decepticon has ravaged the planet, each faction doing anything it can to survive. Here I've taken a Titans Return voyager Optimus Prime and given him all the battle damage, weathering, scuffed, dusty, and bullet-ridden detail my other EotR figures have. Prime features metal wheel covers and chains. His plane mode is gone and there's magnetic missile launchers that store in his legs now. His Battle-Tanker alt mode features an anti-aircraft top mounted gun as well. It's the End of the Road for the Transformers...who will be next?

To transform and roll out with more pics head here: End of the Road Optimus Prime (http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/JinsDangerousToys2/OptimusPrimeETOR.html)

An android without memory, wandering the world, is he friend or foe? This week I bring you Hakaider from the Kikaider anime done in Marvel Legends 6" form. He was created using a Multiverse Parademon body, SIC Hakaider statue head, animated Batman cowl, Hawkman armor, Big Red Predator belt, and Zod shoulder pads. I gave Hakaider a sleek black-gunmetal bodywash with classic anime yellow/red colors to complement him. Hakaider features a magnetic removable cape, pistol, and Professor Gill's flute.

"High above in the skies of Eternia a watchful warrior patrols, Dyna-Soar the Jurassic Aviator. Ever since he was hatched Dyna dreamed of chasing the feathered flying creatures and buzzing insects. But waiting around for his kin to grow feathers would take forever! Dyna began studying methods of flight and with the help of King Randor's mechanics devised a powerful flying apparatus he could pilot. With his mighty Meteor-Mallet Dyna-Soar keeps the skies clear of trouble, and sometimes the ground when he comes in for a landing!"

Here's Dyna-Soar, another original custom creation for your Masters of the Universe Classics collection. Dyna was created using a Ceratus body, King Chooba lower legs, Lightseeker head, Marvel's Vulture Titan wings, GI Joe Sigma 6 web gear, Saurod waistguard, BAF Onslaught hands, and an DC Direct Orion flight vest. Testors Metallic Lacquer was used for his metal effects and he was airbrushed with light blue highlights to complement his look. Two of Strobo's meteor stands were used on a ML Odin spear to create his hammer weapon.

"From another world wrought with war and unending darkness comes a warrior that battles with a righteous fury. Tem-Plarr's mission was to seek out evil and destroy it. Once finished he could finally rest...until a mystical Time Portal of Skeletor's design opened up. Reactivated and detecting forces of darkness the valiant knight reached Eternia where a host of corruption was present. Beware the might of this knight Hordak, Skeletor, for stone and steel cannot be reasoned with!"

Here's another original custom creation for your Masters of the Universe Classics collection, Tem-Plarr! Modeled after the Templar Knights of lore this stony stoic statue was created from a Callix body, Mythic Legions knight head, Omega Red ponytail Iron Monger BAF fists and feet, Ceratus waist armor, Dr Strange cape section, Lightseekers shoulderpads, and sculpted detail using Aves Apoxie Clay. His broadsword was made using a ML Ares sword with a new hilt and a Digimon shield was modified into a Templar version that plugs on to his left forearm. Tem-Plarr was given realistic stone effects and weathered metallic detaling on his armor using Testors Metallic Lacquer.

With the King of Wakanda gone, vaporized by the mighty Thanos, a new hero emerges to fill his clawed shoes...the White Tiger! Here I created the Hector Ayala version to fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe style by using a Civil War Black Panther base figure, Ragnarok Loki lower arms and lower legs, Killmonger hands, and a modded Superman spear/sword combo. Careful line work of grey and black was added to his all white basecoat and I created a Jade Tiger Amulet so he could get those nifty mystical powers. While I'd love to see him in Avengers Endgame as a temporary Black Panther replacement he's more likely to have shown up on the Netflix Defenders/Daredevil series....if they hadn't been cancelled. Do'h!

When evil needs to be punished you bring in the man named for the task, the Punisher himself armed to the teeth and armored for war! This week I bring you a special version of Frank ready to take on your Legends collection all by himself. The Punisher was created using the Civil War Crossbones body, Demo man arms, Walgreens Punisher head, and Captain America lower legs. Scarlet Spider pouches were added to bulk up the arms and he was repainted head to toe with subtle shading and weathering. Punisher's arsenal includes a 50 cal, M-16, pistol, rocket launcher, shotgun, and ammo bin. Elastic web gear was added so he could store all the weapons on his body in case he needed more firepower.

He's short, he's stocky, and he's the best at what he does. It's Wolverine and today I'm bringing his MvC2 sprite to life as a custom Marvel Legends figure! Wolverine was created from a Marvel universe hulk body/fists, sabertooth waist/upper legs, Masters of the Universe forearms, old ML Wolvie head with Apoxie Clay sculpted cowl, and Revoltech Wolverine lower legs/claws. Flexible boot tips were added, lots of shading and detail, along with extra range of movement added so you can pose Wolverine doing all the video game attacks like his Berserker Barrage and Weapon X specials.

"Savior, conqueror, hero, villain. You are all of these things, Revan..." The Legacy of Darth Revan wasn't always dark, he was once a Jedi knight and here I'm bringing Jedi Revan to you in 6" Star Wars Black series form! This version of Revan was featured in the Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes mobile game and was created using the Darth Revan figure with modded machine man belt, Old Luke skirt, and various straps/buckles. The hood needed to be removed, the neck reworked, and a complete paint job with metallic armor finished him up.

"When it comes to crypts that needs exploring, ancient ruins that need discovering, or tribal warlords that need battling, none are better equipped than Radd-Venture. This mysterious man of action intends to explore every inch of Eternia using his rocket boots to propel him over dangerous chasms and power-whips to disarm traps. What's this? Skeletor is searching for an ancient gem of power? Radd-Venture is already in the tomb and has raided the treasure! For historical purposes of course."

Here's another original custom creation for your Masters of the Universe Classics collection, Radd-Venture, Eternian explorer! Radd was created using a Rio-Blast body, Darius head, Saurod lower legs, Eldor shirt, Playmotion Ultron tendrils, Cad Bane gun parts, and creech wrist blasters for the jet boots. I wanted an Indiana Jones themed character and even gave him a satchel to complete the look. His shirt is removable and you can swap the power whips/pistols out between his wrist ports.

"Skeletor's laboratory has produced all sorts of deadly creatures but none so horrific as Planterror! Born from Eternian Flora that was corrupted with dark magic, Planterror can sense his prey through through the roots he sends out underground and even control their minds with his spores. One prick from his Vinelash whip causes paralysis and he can ensnare enemies with powerful vines if that wasn't enough! Man-At-Arms is still working on an antidote but for now only Roboto should be tasked with battle against Planterror."

Crazy characters are what Masters of the Universe is known for so here's one to add to your collection, Planterror! This potted pest was created from an Evil Seed body, Monster High plant collar, Nintendo Piranha plant pipes, Stratos lower legs, and a Demogorgon mouth. Everything came together perfectly to form this flowering foe and I airbrushed all sorts of highlights and shadows on for added detail.

Ready for some retro Foot-clan action? Here's a 6" scale Foot Soldier that's decked out like the original vintage toy! This Foot Soldier was created using an Neca TMNT cartoon Shredder, vintage transforming Foot Soldier head/arm guards, and Aves Studio's Apoxie Clay to sculpt the vest as well as fill holes and add detail. The tunic was trimmed, new hands added, and the vintage toy's mace and Shell-Biter staff refitted. Foot Soldier even comes with a big ol' commando knife, roof top base, and is painted just like the vintage toy!

When an army of unstoppable shiny silver T800 Endoskeletons can't defeat the human resistance there's only one thing for Skynet to do....create a purple one with horns and hip-blasters! Ah yes the golden years of Kenner Toys gave us some amazing designs, some a bit more interesting than others such as the endoskeleton Kromium from their vintage Terminator Future War line. While I wasn't able to incorporate the extending feature the vintage toy had (there's not much plastic to work with using a plain Endo) I tried to get him as close as I could to the original design!

Kromium was made using a classic NECA Endoskeleton, BAF Odin horns, Cylon/Iron Man/Star Wars/Halo/Gundam/Transformers and scratch built sections to complete his armored-up look. I used Testors Aztek Airbrush paints (brushed on) and he was entirely shaded using The Army Painter's Quickshade wash sets and sealed using Mr Hobby Mr Top Coat semigloss Premium sealer.
