Title: Halloween Tree
Post by: Non-Chick Magnet on October 20, 2015, 06:28:31 pm
My wife suggested I put up a HALLOWEEN tree, so here it is:

Anybody care to name the figures?   :)

Not sure about the one on the bottom left and middle -- two versions of Frankenstein's monster? The one in the red shirt -- some version of Scarecrow. At first, I thought the bottom right was Huntress, but I think it's actually cartoon version of Raven. Werewolf by Night is cool, but Marvel Legends Dracula just didn't do it for me (didn't look like Colan's version).

Very good, KC.  The bottom left is The ZOMBIE, and the one in the middle is FRANKENSTIEN.  At the top is a 90s version of JACK O' LANTERN, and yes, that is a cartoony RAVEN.  Mrs. Non-Chick Magnet picked her out along with JONAH HEX because she said he's very scary looking.

Classic GHOST RIDER off to the right, and that's a BATMAN The Animated Series SCARECROW.

And yes...my wife is very cool!    A lot cooler than me!  8)

I truly love that MARVEL MONSTERS box set.  I would have preferred the LIVING MUMMY over the ZOMBIE because I've never been a Zombie person.  If I was a decent customizer, I could make a MUMMY from the ZOMBIE, but alas....I am not.

Anyway, thanks for the complements, guys!  Where the heck is DUSTY??

I've never been a zombie person either, but I do enjoy watching TWD. I agree -- Mummy would have made a better choice. A zombie just doesn't have the same cache.

I actually enjoy Z NATION more than The WALKING DEAD.  Z NATION has some really goofy and funny moments in it, whereas TWD is just bleak, bleak, bleak.  Then, things get even worse.  It's a really good show, but it's just too heavy for me sometimes.

My wife thinks Mr. Hex is pretty scary looking, so she put him on herself!

So now, my little tree will be filled with all my Hallmark ornaments, and our 'normal' tree will have the 'normal' decorations.

I'll post a pic.

Well, here it is.  It's certainly nothing special, but it's mine.  There's an assortment of Super Heroes, Star Trek and Star Wars, and some other odds and ends.

And, since STAR WARS is on the way, some close-ups that MRS. MAGNET took:

So it turns out that the Missus wants me to go ahead and leave my little Sci-Fi/Super Hero tree up year round.  Cool!
