Title: Ant-Man and the Wasp
Post by: kcekada on January 31, 2018, 06:50:36 am
Looking forward to this more than any other Marvel film on the books. I think they went a little too dark on Wasp's wardrobe, but otherwise this looks fantastic.

Looks like fun.  We need more fun.

Agreed.  Looks fun, and not bogged down.

The Pez at the end was fun.

Someone posted some shots of Wasp toys and it was the Black and Gold costume so I assume we'll see a couple of variants. Maybe a cameo in Infinity War, then same costume at the beginning of AM&TW before a new one, etc?

Yeah, saw those figures after I posted this, but was thinking the same thing. I'm okay with that!

since ghost is the villain in this, his sdcc figure probably will get re-released.

It's about time! That was a great-looking figure. I wish the version of Luke Cage was still in play. It was a good compromise between his classic look and his non-uniform look (which I find boring).

So Mrs. Magnet and I finally rented this right after Christmas.  We watched it twice in a row!  I can't believe this is my new favorite Marvel movie!

This and the original are the quiet gems of the MCU.

Wanted to see this in a theatre, but never got around to it. It's now on Netflix -- so watched it today. I liked it a lot. I still don't get why they bypassed Hank and Janet as the main characters -- though I don't think I would buy Rudd as Pym. The Ghost outfit looked great, and made a very good opponent. The one problem I have with the Avengers films is that villains are so huge. I guess they have to be --  because a film only ever comes out every couple of years. But sometimes, I only want a B or C level villain.

Preach!!

That is exactly why I love the 2 AntMan movies.  I get that movies are big budget, huge events that are meant to be epic, but I don't always need a villain who wants to take over the galaxy, or destroy it.
