Okay....so you're in charge at Hasbro of deciding what the next two five figure boxed sets are going to be.

Conditions are that they must follow a known theme such as being from the same team/group. You can have one oversized figure in the set.

Go!!

They seem like one of those teams that's there to get beat up  early on in a story to show the heroes in action.  The Wrecking Crew has had a similar fate recently.

Yeah, times are a changin'. Often these old villains are made fun of for their costumes too. Seems you should just have a leather jacket as a costume these days or you look like a silly comic book character.

I count Madame Hydra/Viper as a member.

I don't need the whole list, but certain members are a must. Sidewinder is more often than not the leader. Then Puff Adder, Bushmaster, Asp, Black Mamba, Coachwhip and Anaconda are a must.

That's a good point about the Serpent Squad.  What are the chances that they dive deep into the female ranks?

Diamondback is literally just paint apps. Black Mamba, Black Racer and Fer-De-Lance aren't far off either.

I don't know if King Cobra and current Spider-Woman have been shown before. I'm pretty sure Klaw is not the same one from a few years back.

Pretty sure Klaw is on the new Pizza Spidey buck as it has those same butterfly joints in the shoulders. Sad when your rogue's gallery is so poor that they have to re-release a villain who has already had a figure.

I appreciate your enthusiasm and I like Pete Woods......but Christopher Priest is a terrible writer. I find most of his stuff completely nonsensical. I tried to read his Deathstroke and had no idea what was going on. I liked him better as Jim Owsley.

There's a nice 5 inch toy biz Beast that fits in well with legends. I never thought of hank being too big anyway like his legends figure was,he  wasn't big in perez' avengers.

Good point, PTB.  BEAST is similar to THING...he's thick and wide, but not super tall.  I think he's supposed to be a little under 6 feet tall.

The Thing was always 6'. This is something that annoys me. In the original Marvel Universe Handbook there were a handful of characters with Superhuman Class 100 strength. Now, in an effort to make them better than everyone Marvel has boosted pretty much everyone. Luke Cage used to be "2 Tons" and now he's "One of the strongest men on the planet" according to his current series. I noticed "Fighting Skills" is another that seems to have everyone as 5/5 masters of everything.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Wow.  A JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED Warlord, and then an IMAGINEXT Warlord.  Not to mention the beautifully sculpted FIRST APPEARANCE Warlord from DCD that nobody asked for.  It's like having a highly skilled chef offer you a steak....and then he burns it to a crisp and serves it to you on a pair of panties worn by a $2 whore.

I'd never thought of it like that, but now.....

Not without that Dewback  Grin

I didn't realise that the released Beast and Gambit are proving expensive to get hold of.

Looking at the FWOOSH list, you can also see it's heavily influenced by the animated series.

I don't normally like redos, but that Psylocke is a huge improvement. Not thrilled with Apocalypse. I really wanted a Strong Guy or Shadow King....or anyone we haven't already had.

Spider-Woman is fugly.

Yay Cobra!! I really hope that's a boxed set of a few of them?
14  The Collector's Life / The Pegs / Re: Today's Toy Haul on: September 07, 2017, 05:32:57 pm
I got retro rock, austin and sting, charlotte, SW basic rose, rey and hux at Walmart.

Score! Do we even know who Rose is yet?

I finally managed to pick-up the remaining Playmates Voltron Lions after the black one has been sitting all alone for a while.
15  The Collector's Life / The High End / Re: THE HOT TOYS SUPPORT GROUP on: September 07, 2017, 05:31:24 pm
I got notice that my Harley Quinn has shipped.

Nice!  Thumbs Up

Hot Toys are a bit sporadic. Their commitment to licenses is a bit all over the place too.

I've not bought one in ages mainly because the Predator license has slowed down a bit. I thought we might see some new love with the Alien franchise and a few updated marines, but there hasn't been much beyond the Alien Warrior and the original Ripley.
