1  The Collector's Life / The Pegs / Re: Today's Toy Haul on: Today at 09:16:46 am
I was just reading the flavor text on the boards that said we don't talk about things like Barney and Dora.

LOL, I won't tell Scotty.

This is Negan’s “face turn”.  He’s about to become a good guy.

Which makes absolutely no sense. None. Neither did keeping him alive.

I like to score little wins against my OCD like this.   Grin

It's sad that Negan is the most interesting part.

After I watched last nights ep, I dumped Walking Dead from the DVR.  I’m done.  thud.gif

I do reserve the right to check out the Rick, Michonne, and Maggie movies.  Grin

It is only OCD that keeps us watching now. And I could careless about a Rick movie.

Twivel - (Noun) Articulation joint for a an animal or anthropomorphic characters tail. Ent: Contraction of Tail Swivel (Scotty Episode 343)

We bitch when there's not enough product to meet demand and when there's too much product clogging the shelves preventing us from getting the next wave, but I feel for all of the poor bastards that have to make dozens of wild guesses along the way in the hopes of getting what us fickle customers want.

This is a universal planning department problem no matter the industry.

I forgot they did Avatar.  Man they took a bath on that.

And it's too bad. Some of that was good stuff. Some

I wouldn't want to be at their next shareholders meeting. Well, I would, but only as an observer.

I didn't know Do You Wanna Touch Me.

Runaway (Del Shannon version) was covered in the 80s as a tv theme. I used to pick up on covers from time to from listening to my Mom's old 45's.

I also was talking to somebody in the last couple years that thought Proud Mary was originally a Tina Turner song and didn't know the CCR version.

Who knew that Joan Jett's version was a cover?! Not me!   applause.gif

I did know that one.

What about this one?

Knocking over the ladder was so 'c' list movie script writing. A sprained ankle? Really?

I didn't understand why he was in hurry to get down. She'd have been better to just climb up with him and let him pass.

Two time jumps in one season.  Two major characters gone (for now).  A new status quo (just like an event comic).  Buncha new characters (just like an event comic).  And a nine year old girl who carries a .357 Magnum.  Like it wouldn’t knock her down if she could even lift it.

Seems like a lot of holes to backfill.

This one felt really, really jarring. As a mid season finale this jump would have worked much better.

And you forgot happy helpful Negan. Which feels right after seeing broken suicidal Negan last week.

Okay......so apparently it's not zombies speaking.....it's most probably the introduction of The Whisperers. A group who wear zombie skins and guts and move within heards as cover and protection, etc.

What about the "They are evolving" line?

Dunno? The implication is that they're no longer easily distracted by shiny things (noises, lights, etc)

Squirrel! What was I saying?

What the great googily fuck did I hear? Did one of the zombies speak when the humans were hiding in the mud? Did they? Huh?

I was wondering who leaves crates of dynamite just sitting around? Why was it there?

But why does hiding in the mud work? What if they don't have lungs to push air through rotting vocal chords?

I thought that explosion was a little much for dynamite. Also, why were the walkers just lemminging through fire and off the bridge? Wouldn't this just mean all the walkers would eventually walk into the ocean or the Grand Canyon?

Why would a single bullet set off dynamite?

Why didn't he just take his shirt off to make a bandage instead of pulling some nasty ass piece of cloth out of an abandoned building that was nothing but a pinch point for directing the walkers to him?
