Freedom Fighters #3
Guardians of the Galaxy #1 (reprint)

Maybe Invaders #2
Maybe Shazam #3

Not really commenting on sculpt or costume choices.  They all look great as usual.  Just a dull bit of character selection.  IMHO.  YMMV.

Same. There is no doubt that the figures look the best they have. Selection is where I am being let down.

Every year I find that the Marvel Legends reveals seem more and more repetitive. Juggernaut again -- this soon?! They do manage to eek out a few figures I want every year, something like 10 percent. There are just way too many classic characters that are not being represented.

Nothing shown excites me.

I have Guardians of Galaxy #1 second printing on order, and have asked for #2 to be saved for me. I heard good things about the first issue.

Any chance in Hell that Todd could do some figures from a DC series he actually worked on (other than Detective Comics)?

In other words, Infinity Inc.?

I really had no interest, but when I turned Netflix this morning to try to get to the end of episode one of The Defenders (zzzzzzz), the ad came up for Umbrella Academy and won me over. Really liked the first episode.

I remember when the book was out -- and that the covers were awesome -- but the interior art was no my cuppa tea == so know virtually nothing about the storyline (which probably makes for better viewing).

It did have some similarities to Haunting of Hill House.

That Magnus Family set is nice, though I really am not in the market for another Scarlet Witch figure. Quicksilver and classic Mags deserved an upgrade. I wouldn't have minded seeing Crystal over Wanda, but whatever.

But does Todd's stuff sell at big retail locations? I've only seen his figures at specialty stores -- never at TRU or Walmart. If it's at specialty, he can charge a bit more.

New trailer giving a lot more background on the characters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tTM9nbRk5A

My big problem with DC is the lack of a coherent history. Reboots may bring in readers in the short term, but they shouldn't throw out a rich history in order to grab a handful of new readers. Too many of their characters have still not been re-introduced in an intriguing manner. And the Titans continue to devolve into pure garbage.

If they cant' have a line of toys that can feature characters that existed before 2000, then don't waste my time. Which is pretty much why I've had no interest in any DC toy since DCUC ended.

Wanted to see this in a theatre, but never got around to it. It's now on Netflix -- so watched it today. I liked it a lot. I still don't get why they bypassed Hank and Janet as the main characters -- though I don't think I would buy Rudd as Pym. The Ghost outfit looked great, and made a very good opponent. The one problem I have with the Avengers films is that villains are so huge. I guess they have to be --  because a film only ever comes out every couple of years. But sometimes, I only want a B or C level villain.

I don't quite buy Larson as Carol Danvers. But the same can be said for the guy who plays Captain America.

That said -- I tend to like these individual characters films better than the overarching Avengers films.

Correction: Genis-Vell and Grey Gargoyle are the only two I haven't seen on the shelf. I must have missed  his image on the back of the box. Weird choice, but he was a villain in one of the issues of Avengers where Ms. Marvel was an active member (the Micheline/Byrne run).
