Got the Figuarts Vega the other day. He’s pretty rad.

Walmart has been putting 80th stuff on clearance. 2 packs at about 50% off and singles for $15. I grabbed Juggernaut/Colossus for $35 last night.

GameStop was having a mega clearance markdown today so I got the last 5 Kree Sentry figures I needed, vintage Wasp, and a freaking AIM two pack all for $5 a piece.

I like the Kree Sentry a lot more in hand than I thought. He looks very odd in pictures, but I like him a lot. I wish they'd retool him into a Sentinel.

Wow! Is that legit?!

Hey, was there an SDCC boxed set this year?! I don't recall seeing any news of one.

https://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Classic-Legends-Alpha-Flight/dp/B07TDH8HB4/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?keywords=alpha+flight+legends&qid=1566591401&s=gateway&sprefix=alpha+flight+lrgends&sr=8-8

It's already up

I think there was just SDCC Hulk on the retro card.

Thank God. They released enough stuff in the past month as it is.

Alpha Flight Boxed Set going up for pre order on Amazon tomorrow. Shaman, Northstar, Aurora, Snow Bird, and Puck.

Let’s see you people complain about that, lol

A pretty cool looking gray Hulk popped up on Amazon yesterday and was quickly taken down, but folks who got orders in are already receiving him today. Very odd for a figure that was absolutely not announced at all.

But a lot of folks don’t have them, they routinely sell for $100+ each on eBay, these ones come with quite a few extra accessories, and it would’ve been a massive fail if they didn’t at least start the relaunch with an opportunity to buy the main hero and villain.

They can’t just wheel out Grune and expect a bunch of folks to gobble him up when they don’t have Lion-O

This Iron Man is something. Initially, he was probably who I was looking forward to the least (only because Thor, Hulk, and Capt looked so great), but he really might be my favorite of the bunch. I love his colors and overall shelf presence. I think part of the reason I wasn’t looking forward to him as much is because of how lackluster previous IM’s have been. I guess part of me figured every IM would have some level of mediocrity to it, but this guy it so great. I do wish he had wrist articulation in his repulsor hands and maybe that his Tony head was a little smaller, but two very small points on such a nice figure. I want more IMs like this. I previously said I’d only be interested in Modular armor and Heroes Return armor, but if they keep making IMs this nice, I’ll buy them all.

(And the red/gold on future IMs better match this one or it'll drive me crazy)

It is! DCUC’s women largely have aged pretty poorly compared to a lot of what Hasbro is doing (or were just BAF to begin with, like Mary Marvel and Ice), but fortunately Wonder Woman still looks pretty good.

Found Capt today too. So I think Im finally caught up for a bit.

With my new figures, I took an opportunity to take some new pics and update my write up on the Items of Power from the JLA/Avengers series. Id love if you guys could check it out:

Got a lot over the past couple days. Found Nightcrawler and Sinister at Target, got Storm and Iceman from Pulse, and grabbed Iron Man at GameStop.

Nightcrawler is fantastic. I believe he’s an all new sculpt. Great movement in his hips, super fun to pose, head sculpts are miles ahead of the ToyBiz version.

Iron Man is perfection. I’ll never need another classic IM again. He’s a great size and I love the colors.

Storm and Sinister are great too. Iceman is fine. I really like his color compared to past versions. Head sculpt is a little odd, has a big seam down the middle, and I wish he had alternate hands.

I think it was on Instagram.

Although looking at Fwoosh's Top 10 vote from last year, we got something like 9 of the top 10, so they definitely look at that for a little inspiration. I think the only one that didn't get made was Stan Lee, who shot up there due to both his passing and because we saw that leaked proto of his cancelled figure. I'd 100% buy him.

I'm curious who will be on this year's list. Hoping that Count Nefaria finally cracks his way up there. After getting Silver Samurai, I think Nefaria is the only one who's been on my Top 10 for every single year they've done the vote.

She was a fan choice winner for a poll that Hasbro held last year.

Got Thor today. Fresh out of a box that a Target employee was nice enough to open for me.

He's pretty fantastic. I think pretty much everything you could want in a classic Thor. His cape makes him a little back heavy, but not awful and he can still hold some nice poses. He was by far my most anticipated ML of the year. Very glad to have a decent Thor for the shelf.

Yeah, I got my Hulk on Saturday. He's awesome. I haven't put him down since. Pretty perfect as far as Hulks go.
