Everyone gets their own stage to show off their Collections.  Any and all folks. Please just start one thread and then update as you go.  Feel free to update your main subject when you add more to your thread so everyone knows to come check it out!  Evetually this will turn into a compendium of showrooms.   Any questions?

Do we get to keep the stuff we see, or just look at it?  Cool

Seriously, thanks Xander for the idea of this place, setting it up and agreeing to be the boss around here!

No problem!  I really enjoy seeing everyone's layout and their collection.  Give or take it's generally the same stuff so it is always neat to see how everyone displays their stuff!  Especially non-MOC collectors! Wink

Hey Zander,

Just trying to figure out how to post pics via Photobucket. I usually copy the image code from the website and paste it, but have not been having much luck (been clicking that "Insert Image" icon, but nothing happens). Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi mate

What you need to do is copy & paste the photobucket URL into the post, select it and THEN click "Insert Image". It will put HTML tags around it to tell the browser to display it in the body of the post. That's also how you insert a weblink by clicking the "Insert Hyperlink" button.

Hope that helps.

Andy

Hey Andy, maybe you need a short tutorial on this somewhere? Might also stop people posting huge images, etc.

When in photobucket, I just hover over the image I want and when the link options comes up, I just click in the 'IMG Code' box then simply cut and paste into the message.

Thanks FMS - the same applies in Flickr (which is what I use) as well - and it offers you a range of image sizes too.

thanks for the tip also will try it once i get brave enough to take updated pictures of my collection to share. since one thing about having one as big as mine its a pain to take pictures of every thing. including the big pain pieces that are bulky like Grod and Despero and my Darksiede. and of course real big pieces like my Galactus and Sentinal. will use the tips.once i figure out how to get the pictures to come out.

Yep, you need to set-up a www.photobucket.com or flickr account. Then upload your photos to your new account and then you can link them from there to right here on AFB.
