Holy cow those pics are wicked! how the hell do you guys do the dusting!!!!

Ah yes! Good old dust. The enemy of intricate figure collectors everywhere. I thnk the only solution is to do what Andy did and have doors on the front of your cabinets/display units.

Do you guys buy doubles of your figures and take one out of the box and keep one in box?

I certainly don't. Considering that it's hard enough to find space in our house at the moment, plus that we have to actually buy most of my stuff from the US, buying double isn't happening. Especially with my attempts to get some of the more expensive Marvel Legends that I missed from not starting collecting when they were released. I mean 2 lots of Hawkeye, Deadpool, or Scarlet Spider? No thanks.

I actually saw this in the shop yesterday. The cost is a bit steep, but it'd get some good use in my home.

Not generally no.

I have doubles of about half my Marvel Legends, some m.o.c and some loose. I got them as the opportunity presented itself. I didn't actually buy two sets as they were released though. Most army builders I have multiples too such as about 10 Hydra soldiers, 5 Sentinels, etc.

I've got one of those photographer lens cleaning brushes. Y'know the soft little brush but it's got the air puffer attached? So s you brush you can squeeze it ad it blows air too.

Does anyone know where in Australia you can find those step-shelves to hold figures or a simple technique to make some for yourself? I have an old display case I would like to use but the shelving is really no good, if I could put something inside to host them it would at least make it somewhat decent looking

Pretty sure Howard's Storage world has what you're after. Problem is the price. It's about $30 odd. I remember Andy posting about some a year ago.

Otherwise....old VHS tapes? Grin

Yep, I get mine from Howard's Storage World and haven't seen them anywhere else. They are usually just shy of $30.

The main bugger with them is that the label on them is insanely hard to get off. You think it's just a sticker that peels off but somewhere in the middle there is a killer adhesive that always creates a nightmare.

It was pretty much a white plastic version of this, with a non-slip pad on the tiers that drove Andy berko:
