Has anyone gotten into any Novelisations of popular Comic Stories at all?

Two of my absolute faves is Kingdom Come by Elliot Maggin,[there's a shock]it filled quite a few holes in the GN and also helped to answer some questions i had.Really well written.

The other is"No Mans Land"by Greg Rucka.Hell of a Batman story and i actually loved this much more than the GN.Really painted an amazing picture with the entire mood of the storytelling and the treatment of all characters within was spot-on for mind.

The Crisis on Infinite Earths Novelisation is pretty good. I also have the audio version which is excellent.  Thumbs Up

While not novelizations of comic stories, some of the Marvel Pocket Novels of the late 70s were very good. I particularly enjoyed the Iron Man, Dr. Strange, and Avengers novels. The latter not surprisingly, as it was written by David Michelinie, simply one of the best Avengers writers ever.

Pretty sure Infinite Crisis, 52, and Final Crisis all got novelised. Doesn't seem like Marvel are much into it.

You mean, would I like to store an offsite copy at your residence?  Wink

I thought both of those were great too! The Kingdom Come audio book is fun as well as it's full cast.

I don't go out of my way to get them, but I've read a few and always seem to enjoy them.

Infinite Crisis and 52 could be interesting. Not sure i want to delve into FC at all though.

I read a number of Batman monthlies until the whole Knightfall story line turned me off. I thought the novel would maybe help me get it, but it didn't. It just doesn't work for me.
