Heh yeah,i have noticed some hardcore Pred Fans refer to him as"The Wolf Cleaner"or"Cleaner Wolf." Cheesy

It's frustrating. A lot of people refer to the Arnie one as "Classic" when others refer to that look of Predator as 'Classic' while specifically referring to the Arnie one as "Jungle Hunter" and therefore the Predator 2 one as "City Hunter". I was mighty chuffed when Hot Toys offered the "Shadow Predator" but then I've always known him as "Snake Predator" which is kinda sensible since he has the snake pattern on his skin.

Indeed,i like how some refer to the first Predator as P1 and of course P2 from the second Film. After the Elder though it kinda turns to shit.

As far as the"Classic"Predator Figure to me it refers to the original style rather than the actual character obviously. It's like the new Machiko/She-Predator Figure i have coming. She's marketed as AVP and yet the Girl from the Movie looks absolutely nothing like the Figure.Which is a shame cause that would have looked a hell of a lot better on the Big Screen.

Machiko Noguchi is from the AvP books. She first appeared in the original Dark Horse mini-series. I too would love to see her kickin' it on the big screen  Grin

Well there you go i learned something, today hasn't been a total loss. Grin

I had never read any of the Books to be honest[probably cause i never actually saw any anywhere] and i assumed they were trying to expand on the Movie Character concept which i approved of.I feel more vindicated in buying her now knowing she is actually canon.

You've earned a point cause i know how much you need them. Undecided

Hey!  Angry I think the key word there is earned!

I really liked the original AvP comic mini-series (some fantastic covers too). it's worth tracking down. If you haven't read it, it's set in the future and humans have colonised another planet simply to farm food for the earth population. So there are all manner of livestock on the planet when the Aliens arrive. Since chestbursters always take on the characteristics of their host animals you can imagine what happens. I always hoped they'd adapt it into a movie.

It's nice, but not for Hot Toys prices. I'd consider 'Royce' simply because he comes with the badass AA-12 shotgun.

Good call,if i ever bought a Human Predator Movie Character it would have to be Arnie. That ship has sailed though,i shudder to think what he's going for on the secondary market now.

Yeah, I am so tempted by this, but the price tag - yowza!!! I'd have to Flex Pay it for sure.

Are there any pics of this in scale with an Iron Man figure?
