I have far too many but you know what they say he who has the most toys still dies!

But when he dies all his collector friends say he was the winner. And then they get drunk and break in his house and steal everything from the widow.

It's all in the contract you sign when you start collecting toys.

I wish the contract had been clear about the nervous ebay bidding, frustrating aisle searching and disappointing paint apps

May main interests were....

-GI JOE
-MOTU
-SUPER POWERS
-SECRET WARS
-TRON
-STAR WARS to a lesser degree

I'm amazed at some of the stuff that I've found out about in my adulthood that I never knew about back then.  SECTAURS, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, SILVERHAWKS, etc...

As a child in the 80's Joe was my big line.  While I certainly didn't have everything, I had way more than most kids.  Because of that, my mom didn't let me get into other lines much, so I've gotten a lot of Transformers later in life.  I was not allowed any TMNT when they came out, so I usually get suckered into buying those when new lines start up as well.  Curiously I didn't get into superhero figures until after I got into comics in my pre-teens.

There was just something about GI JOE.  I had a shit ton of those, too.  I frigging loved those things!  The box artwork, the file cards, the comics...such a happy time!

I had the regular 70's stuff. Big Jim, Mego, Johnny West's Best of the West by Marx, Six Million Dollar Man, Star Wars, Micronauts, Lone Ranger.

Then into the 80's I had SW, Joes, TF's, MOTU, Blackstar, Tron, Clash of the Titans, Remco Monsters, Remco Eagle Force, Lone Ranger movie 3 3/4th, Flash Gordon, Dukes of Hazzard, Indiana Jones, AD&D, Thundercats, Super Powers, Sectaurs, Secret Wars, MASK.

I had a scant one or two in some lines, while in others I had quite a bit. My dad was a manager in a retail store (this was before big box stores like Wal-Mart took over), and he always bought us the "good stuff" for the Christmas of that year, so my toys were pretty varied. The last 80's line that I actually bought when they came out was SilverHawks.

Joe, AD&D and MOTU were my main ones.  But I had at least a couple of figures from so many lines I'm sure I couldn't think of them all at this point.  Loved Silverhawks, Visionaries, Remco monsters and wrestlers, Super Powers, Secret Wars...etc etc.

About the only line I see mentioned that I don't think I had any of is Blackstar...tbh I don't remember ever seeing those when I was a kid.

M.A.S.K.

That line was the shit. The character costumes with the removable helmets, the vehicles, and the cartoon were huge highlights of my early, early childhood years. It's probably the only toy line I'd go back and collect the old version of.

I started with Star Wars early and kept going with it for years.  I had well over 100 figures with most of their weapons, Death Star, Millenium Falcon, X-Wing, 4 of the smaller die-cast vehicles and more.  But I was told to downsize and sold it all at Garage sales.

Similar situation with GI Joe (80's).  I had almost all of the first few waves of figs, and some of the later.  The Pit, Hiss, Personnel Carrier, Jeep, Motorcycle, Bivuoac.  All in fine shape with all of the weapons.  Then my younger cousin came over, he liked them and I was told to give him everything.

With Masters of the Universe, I had about a dozen of the original figs, such as He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, Beast Man, MAA, Stratos, Zodac, Evil-lyn, Triklops, Ram Man, Battle Cat, Panthor, Mer-Man plus Castle Greyskull and Point Dread & The Talon Fighter.  I had to sell those at garage sales too, but somehow held onto the Castle.  I wish I still had Point Dread & The Talon Fighter, I really liked that one.

Had a handful of Secret Wars and AD&D and Lone Ranger.  I know the first is gone, I'm not sure about the later.

I had a few of the Super Friends mego's I think.  I don't remember them well and the costumes got kind of trashed.

I had a dozen or so smurfs and some houses, those are still around.

I had several Lego sets, a couple police and several medieval.  Those I still have all of, but idk about the instructions.

Transformers is what I was able to hold onto.  Jetfire got hit with some mold and Prowl was broken, but the rest of my several dozen are in good shape.  Soundwave and all his original tapes, the three Decepticon jets, most of the common autobots from the first few waves, including red bumblebee.  Some Constructicons, Aerialbots, etc.  I think the last one I got was Rodimus Prime.  Somehow I never got most of the major ones though, no Optimus, Megatron, Shockwave, Ultra Magnus.

Everything I still have is stored away and I haven't seen it in years, but I feel good knowing I have it and hopefully in a couple years I'll have more space to bring it out.

So I never had a SP Batmobile as a kid. But one of the neighborhood kids, Joey K. Did.

Joey wasn't any better off than my family, and to be fair, My brothers and I didn't want for much.  But Joey Got whatever he wanted, and lorded it over all the other kids in the neighborhood.

Many years later, I did get the Batmobile, and it is still part of my collection, and in Great shape.

A couple weeks ago, I looked Joey up on Google, and found out he STILL has something I never will....A DUI arrest.

Every kid had your main lines, transformers gi joe and he man. They were fun no doubt but i loved things like power lords, wheeled warriors, bravestarr and silver hawks. My all time favorite silver hawk was the green guy who could time jump....flashback. Oh and exo squad ( had every exo squad toy released) and mask ( same deal).
