Picked up the last 2 figures I needed to complete Terrax.  Don't care for Hope.  The figure is okay.  The eyes are nicely done, as is the tattered cape thingie.  Can't get the legs to straighten out and she looks a bit awkward in any pose.  She can't properly hold Forge's gun that's getting re-used.  Captain Stevie is much better.  He seems to be a little too tall.  Very strong head sculpt, although the head itself looks a tad large in certain poses.  Love the accessories.  The guns are nicely done, although one is slightly warped from the packaging.  The translucent shield looks different enough from Bucky Cap's and previous Captain America figures that it doesn't feel like I've got a million of the same extra.  Terrax is awesome, but not perfect.  Should have been at least 3/4" shorter with a bit more of a rocky appearance, especially since this is likely the only figure he's gonna get at this scale.  Still, it's hard to complain when he turned out this good.  I'm happy to have him.

Might see if I can find a auction for a complete Terrex or wait until ECCC at the end of next month. Thanks for the pics Raj, they look great.

Got my Wave 2 set today. Already had Masque and Thunderball, so I got Bucky Cap, FF Spidey, Drax, Unmasked Daken, Piledriver, Fantomex and Viper in the set today.

REALLY spiffy figures!

One problem though, the grade of palstic used on Fantomex's feet is horrible. It is too soft and doesn't want too support the figure for very long. To fix this, I used the ML Ultimate Wolvie from the Hasbro Wave 3 Blob series. I took off Wolvie's feet and popped them on Fantomex. I repainted the yellow straps black and bingo-bango-bongo, he's perfect. It took all of 5 minutes for the whole procedure.

Just a FYI for a DIY!

I wonder if they expect they're selling to collectors, and that collectors either leave them in the box, or have access to (at least) rudimentary customising skills?

Yeah, when we were reviewing them on the Podcast,[bit of cross-promotion there  Grin]the Sculpts of the Female Heads really caught my attention.I couldn't stop thinking of potential Custom uses for them.

Don't get your hopes up. Viper got hit with the ugly stick between proto and delivery. It's hard to pick what's different. It seems like her paints are overdone. Particularly the lips and eyebrows.

I picked up Piledriver at Supanova Melbourne yesterday. I had already found Madame Hydra at retail, so I'm done with the variants / swap out figures I need for Wave 2.

Piledriver would be an outstanding figure for me if he wasn't so huge. Interestingly, I heard reviewers on another podcast talking about how much they were loving the Wrecking Crew figures BECAUSE they were do big, so there you do - scale really is in the eye of the beholder!

On their own, Piledriver and Thunderball are excellent. But it's when they stand in the collection and are as tall as Sasquatch you realise how out of scale they are. Should they really be that much bigger than Luke Cage....or Hercules?
