GameStop was having a mega clearance markdown today so I got the last 5 Kree Sentry figures I needed, vintage Wasp, and a freaking AIM two pack all for $5 a piece.

I like the Kree Sentry a lot more in hand than I thought. He looks very odd in pictures, but I like him a lot. I wish they'd retool him into a Sentinel.

He'd be a tiny Sentinel, but then again their size has been all over the map since the late 80's/early 90's.  He himself is an awesome figure!  I got the necessary movie-related figs when Target clearanced them to $10.  $5 is a steal!  I don't think I've ever seen a sale at Gamestop that was below regular Target prices.

Went to a Gamestop outside of the local Walmart and picked up Silver Samuarai. Then went into Wally and saw it for $5 less.  Angry

That Wally also had the Colossus/Juggernaut 2-pack -- but it's $60. I still have that Marvel Select Jugs -- and I can wait for a single card Colossus. No deal!

Finally saw 80th anniversary Thor at a local Wal-Mart.  There were only two left. Cap was in about two months ago. Maybe I can expect Iron Man in November?

Walmart has been putting 80th stuff on clearance. 2 packs at about 50% off and singles for $15. I grabbed Juggernaut/Colossus for $35 last night.

So I found one of the Dani Moonstar figures today.  Her neck snapped off while swapping heads.  Grrrrr...

I just can't with those streamlined New Mutant uniforms.

I don't know when or if they appeared in comics, but the old school uniforms would make more sense to me. And Dani should have her deerskin boots and turquoise belt. I don't need all of the accessories they are including -- though I can see how others may.

Ah well, I can use the money I'll be saving for Alpha Flight boxed set.

Yep, I was wondering why it was twisting so funny, turns out I was twisting the plastic itself instead of the head.

Alpha Flight boxed set isn't showing. I waited to long to pre-order!  cursing.gif

WTF?! The cached page states that it won't even be released until December 1!

Edit: It was already in my cart at Amazon.com, so I pushed the order through. Don't know if it will actually be redeemed or not. It's odd, though, that the page was unavailable -- maybe it's a temporary glitch.

I don't see the page either, but my pre-order is still there.  Maybe they sold out.

In the thread at Fwoosh, people commented that it was down before, and then went up again.  Apparently, that has happened before with other figures. I believe Amazon will explicitly state when an item is sold out. I don't know if they are trying to increase production based on pre-orders or if there is another reason for it.

Something doesn't seem up to ML standards on him.
