Eh, Cloak and Dagger are fantastic new additions, Elektra really needed an update (assuming she's classic) and I'm curious what they'll do with Ock. The others are valid variants of big names.

SP//dr looks cool even though I know nothing about her.

I think the most confusing thing is why put DD and Elektra in there and not do Kingpin as the BAF?

I find most of the ML waves boring -- with exception of the X-Men waves that have had good stuff for both  modern and classic collectors.

But I usually find one or two figures in every wave, so Cloak & Dagger makes the Spidey wave par for the course, I guess.

It could be good.  I assume it's the most current DD and Elektra costumes.  I like both of those.  Maybe Ock will be they Hydra version?

Rumours abound that it's the Shadowland Daredevil. Easy repaint of the Defenders boxed set one. Even the recent black and red would be good (not that I want him at all though).
Spidey will be interesting, surely there's not many variants left to do?
There was a female Doc Ock for a while so she could get a look in if it's not classic Otto.

Sp//dr can honestly fuck of. The number of characters getting figures after half a dozen appearances is ridiculous. Should have been someone deserving. Kingpin is the obvious one, but Mr Hyde would have been a good candidate. If it's going to be a robot then Smythe and his Spider Slayer are way better options.

BAF choices lately have been odd.  They started as characters too big to make.  Then they moved to characters that wouldn't sell as single cards regardless of size (e.g. Mantis, Okoye).  Sp//dr seems like it's there to appeal to the younger crowd that just think a Spidey Robot is cool - which should work on a single card.

I had to Google Sp//dr.  I lost interest in under 5 seconds.  A new record!

I had to look it up as well, I was thinking of a different alternate Spidey.  I'm kind of surprised Spidey is getting two waves this year without a movie.

...Spidey has been getting two waves a year for the last 3 years or so!  The "Spiderverse" concept has been a literal cash-cow for Hasbro to churn out all sorts of Spidey-variants, and have them be "comic-accurate", lol! But we are also getting a good array of villains, supporting heroes/vigilantes, and the occasional civilian!  I will bet that Doc ock is a "classic" take, just because his Hydra/"Superior Octopus" version is literally TOO NEW to throw out there yet!  But you never know...  Evil

Jackal is a unique sculpt but I can see it used for Puma. Silver Sable would be nice too. And a BAF Kingpin.

So:

2 Spidey Waves
2 Avengers Waves
1 Black Panther Wave
1 X-Men Wave
1 Deadpool Wave

And rumors of second X-Men and Deadpool waves.  That's a whole lotta figures.

He's currently giving Luke Cage grief in his solo title.

There seems to be a sentinel/Logan dofp set coming whether its 4” or 6 “ scale is unsure.
