Licensing agreements I imagine. They can't draw him in his movie costume either.

It's kinda weird how Hasblo manage to slip in some comic accurate oddballs into what are essentially movie themed waves. For example, I didn't see King Cobra pop up when I watched Infinity War.

I hope this means that a Captain Marvel themed wave might give us the usual Bree as Marvel or Young Sam Jackson, etc, but some comic accurate cosmic love sneak in too through those oddball spots.
Wendell Quasar is an obvious one, or maybe some members of Alpha Flight given they're so prevalent in her comics at the moment. Some type of Elder of the Universe B.A.F would be sweet such as Collector, Grandmaster, Gardener, etc. Then there's the usual Starfox, Moondragon, Comic accurate Mantis, Sersi, Crystal (or is it ixnay on the Inhumans-ay?), Morg, Firelord, Champion........and Jack of Hearts!!!

I don't know what it will take to get a comic accurate classic Starhawk! I guess the solar sails present a bit of a challenge, but that's the next classic Guardian that should be made. Yondu as well -- since he was already cast in 4-inch scale. I am really completely over modern day Guardians. I liked the first film well enough -- but now everything about it just annoys me.

Rumored line up for Vintage wave 2:

Ant Man
Wasp
Scarlet Spider
Black Panther
Vision
Hawkeye

Vision and Hawkeye would be much needed upgrades and Wasp and Ant Man would be great too.

Just wish Thor was in the line up

Vintage was all re-releases the first go-round though.  Upgrades would be nice, but I'm not sure it's happening.

I'm wondering if it will be a more Bronze Agey, bling free Black Panther??  New sculpt for Hawkeye??  Wasn't he just released 1 or 2 years ago?

I'm not gonna lie....I can't keep track of the costume changes and alternate universe versions anymore.

Besides Spidey, they all had at least something different. Then Widow was new. These are all still pretty simple figures on existing bodies. I’m sure with the success of wave 1 they’re a little more likely to toss some more budget the lines way. Plus they kind of blew their load on A listers already .

We got Hawkeye a few years ago in the Allfather wave, but it was a modern version. We’ve gotten pretty much every Vision under the sun except iconic classic.

Got my Sasquatch wave. Cable is the greatest figure I never wanted. Very nicely done. X-23 is the stand-out though.

I never need another Deadpool figure. Ever.

Cornboy gave us a massive cock tease by posting this Byrne Thing that one of the other 4H sculpted years ago. With some articulation, it’d be perfect.

Thanks for posting!!!

Hot Damn!  He's so thick and chunky!!  Personally, I think the head should sit just a little lower to make his neck shorter, but otherwise?  Perfection!!

Mysterio is a great figure. In fact, the whole wave is pretty decent. Even if you aren't a fan of characters like Gwenpool, you gotta admit she's a well executed figure.

I want that Byrne Thing.
