Saw the cougar type villain of Spider-Man's on the shelf. Looked good, but just isn't a must have for my collection. I guess the same can be said of Cobra, but that figure was really stellar -- and I wouldn't mind assembling an Serpent Squad/Serpent Society. Of course, they've only done one female member of that group -- and it was Madame Hydra/Viper.

I'd probably go for Silver Sable -- she may show up eventually.

The Shazam movie figures look comparable to the other figures Mattel has been releasing -- adequate.

Puma was in a group? I liked the era in which Puma was introduced -- I think Ron Frenz was the artist. But I'm pretty selective these days about what gets added to my collection.

Two to go. Will-o-the-wisp would be an easy custom.

So I opened up the latest Spidey wave over the weekend.  I love, love, love Night Thrasher, but 12 year old me was disappointed that the skateboard doesn't attach to his left arm as a shield with a retractable blade and he didn't have a pop-out single blade on his right hand.  As a kid when I was mentally designing his figure those were key selling points.

6-arm Spidey was a disappointment in sculpt and lack of paint apps, but everything else about this was was lovely.

 Cheesy

Yeah, those kind of features are sadly lacking. With the cutting of corners I'm surprised figs like Daredevil had a place to put his clubs.

I'm slowly assembling my Kree Sentry platoon. I cant find anyone willing to give me head.

Picked up Nighthawk last night. The wings on his cowl are only painted on, but I guess the cape ate up all of the production costs. The rest of that wave, however, is very meh. Okay, Hercules looks great, but I would have preferred an update on his classic look over the new duds. I've never seen this version of Living Laser, in a comic book but have to admit that it pops on the shelf.

Even if I get head, I'll still need more head.

While no one seems to want Grey Gargoyle his BAF piece doesn't seem to lack interest.

I'm grateful for Nighthawk and Living Laser, but man is it gonna be a long wait between drinks if we're doing one classic figure every second wave. The dream of a single wave featuring The Wizard, Trapster, Controller, Psycho Man, Diablo, Chemistro, etc, etc, is long gone.

To be fair, I guess Citizen V is somewhat classic -- as this version of the character was introduced in the late 90s.

Ronin really looked dark -- nothing like the original version in New Avengers. Didn't even realize who or what he was until I got home. Easy pass.

But yeah, we should have gotten more classic team members in the myrial Avengers and Guardians waves.

Instead of Clint being Ronin in the movie, I would be more tickled if he took the Pym Particles Wink
