Kilmer Batman
Carter Wonder Woman
DeVito Penguin

I'm not great at rumor control.

But you are great at keeping enthusiasm rolling!

Thanks.  I try.   Grin

It just always seemed like Mattel was gonna take another shot at it.  Up til now, itís been target practice.  We seem to be locked and loaded now.

I’m also wondering if it’s possible to get one off comic figures in the Signature Series?

A Neal Adams BA Batman comes quickly to mind.

Random thoughts:

1) Will we get more Kingdom Come and Flashpoint figures?  I, for one, hope so.

2) Does it seem like Hawkgirl cut the line?  We have needed JL Cyborg and Martian Manhunter for a while now.  And does a new Kendra mean a new Carter soon?

Didn't we get a 52 Hawkman two years ago? Is there a substantial change in attire. All modern Hawkmans tend to look the same to me -- unless they are artist specific -- like the Ed McG version DCD did way back when.

By the way, was Mattel's Batwoman ever released?!

Mattel released New 52 Hawkman in 2013.  Same DCUC buck.  I think DCC did one too.  Not sure the year.

And Multiverse Batwoman has been released.  Found mine in a comic shop 250 miles from home.  Then I saw the wave at Wal-Mart.   Roll Eyes

It all blends together.

I don't think I have any modern Hawkman figures. The nu 52 version looked good, but I didn't bite. I don't think I've bought a DC figure since DCUC folded.

Well that is the prototype.  The figure of Wally may not come out until next summer.  Changes can be made.

By my count, we've got 31 comic accurate figures coming in this line.  At some point.  I did not include the Clayface wave, which is currently shipping, in that number.  I did include the SDCC Aquaman 3-pack which has, as yet, not been made available to the public.  I also included unconfirmed figures like Impulse, the Balent Catwoman, and the Finch Wonder Woman.  You guys looking for "classics" might be a little surprised.  I define "classic" as characters from before Flashpoint (2011).

Vixen:  Rebirth look but she works for classic.

Gotham by Gaslight Batman:  Elseworlds  1991.

Byrne Bizarro from the late 80's.

Aquaman, Black Manta, and Ocean Master are all SA.

Kingdom Come Superman: 1996

Kyle Rayner is Rebirth but is a definite 90's throwback costume.

Batman Beyond: 1999

Lobo comes with a 90's style head.

Mammoth is a definite pre Flashpoint figure.

Impulse:  1994

Balent Catwoman:  Clearly Classic.

Thirteen out of 31.  Not bad classic guys.

So Iím over on the Fwoosh.  Some guy there follows Paulsmart.com.  And thereís a listing of the Multiverse release schedule.  So I go to his FB page myself to see.  And I take this with a pound of salt, but heís been pretty accurate on many things.  But this does seem very ambitious.  Especially for Mattel...

Sept/Oct.  I assume Aquaman.
Nov.  Lobo wave.
Dec.  Signature series 2
Dec.  Ninja Joker wave.
Feb. 2019 Shazam
April 2019 Batman 80th anniversary wave?

I have doubts.  But I also hope itís true.

80th anniversary Batman wave is a good spot for Tim, Red Hood, Katana, and the MIA Balent Catwoman.

This also looks good for an appearance at NYCC this year.
