I love seeing old pictures of kids getting their vintage toys.  Here's a pic of me...I think it was my 10th birthday.  Lucky me got Weequay and Klaatu from Return of the Jedi.  Call me crazy, but I still have an affinity for the oddball characters like Jabba's creatures.  Smiley

Great pic!  Cheesy

Speaking of which. Just the other day I (inadvertently) found the first toy I ever recall my mother giving me.

Oh yeah?  What was it?

I wish I still had my childhood stuff.  Not because of value, really...even though I had a bunch of 82-85 GI Joes, all the Star Wars Power of the Force figures and a ton of coins.  I just wish I had *my* stuff.  Each figure had my initials on the feet...I keep hoping that someday I'll run across one on eBay or something.  Smiley

The only Star Wars item I have left from childhood is a small Star Wars pillow, which stays on display in my collection room.  Smiley

Wouldn't that be awesome?

I'll take pic of my toy find as I want to mention it on the podcast.

I had a GIANT Winnie the Pooh plush from when I was like 6 or something. When I was 8 we moved to a house with a concrete basement. Winnie went into the basement in storage. When I was 9 the basement flooded and Winnie was soaked through and weighed what seemed a ton to my 9 year old self. Needless to say, he was ruined.

I have to say, as an old and sentimental kook, I kinda wish I could have salvaged him to have for my daughter when she was little.

The Sting album, the Star Wars figures, the Falcon, the Vader case and Indy Jones coat are still in my possession. I don't have the MASK Thunderhawk or the actual Indy figure anymore though. Cry

I miss the Buck Rogers PJ's the most though! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
