Damn, that silver surfer is beautiful. You should take him to the car wash every few months for detailing. Nice CPT America shield too.

Yeah, it is amazing to see in person. The light reflection is great. In terms of statue accomplishments, Death Dealer is still one of the greats. Nothing in my collection has greater presence. It's a tip of the hat to both Frazzeta as the artist and Ehren Bienert for his sculpt. Damn, that silver surfer is beautiful. You should take him to the car wash every few months for detailing. Nice CPT America shield too.
Hah! Yeah, I'm gonna look into the best way to polish him. He shows each and every fingerprint. I'm still one step short of resorting to donning cotton gloves when opening and assembling statues.

I scored a set of the Bandai Explosion effects Red and Grey. There's some shortcomings with their design, but if you're patient they're fun.

I tripped and fell down a very slippery slope with XM Studios 1/4 scale statues. I love BRB and since Sideshow wasn't in a hurry to do this guy and XM stepped up I gave them a chance.....and it's astonishing. Paint is amazing!!!

So Mrs 'shake said if I could raise half the cost by selling existing stuff (by-bye to Star Wars 12" figs) she'd match it by putting in the other half for X-Mas. Possibly the greatest statue ever made!!!! ....and yes, that's the Marvel Legends Ghost Rider & his first appearance comic for scale.

Hah! Thanks man. Like Scotty, It's been cathartic going through my collection and moving on stuff I've decided I don't need anymore. There's only so much one can collect and so many lines are getting quite deep and diverse (I'm looking at you high end 12" Star Wars) so it's time to focus on the few that I enjoy the most and reinvest the funds there. There's a few other 1/4 statues I've got my eye on, but I need to get a few more ebay sales up and running first.
