Hi everybody, My name is Tom. I'm from Argentina (the other down under) and I wanted to show you my collection.
Some time ago I made a blog to keep track of my things but didn't updated it often. After checking out your wonderful displays I wanted to do it, so I leave you the link to my blog.

www.freakstudios.blogspot.com

The pics you'll see are just a part of the collection I'll be uploading more real soon. The figures are all around the house now, but I'm making a big display in one of the rooms.

I'll show that when is finished.

Hope you enjoy it.

T.

Welcome welcome Tom! (may we call you 'Freak' for short?)

Great looking collection you have there and that's a fantastic effort to get all those JLU figures! And only one figure missing!! That must be very frustrating.

You'll have to let us know what it's like obtaining toys in Argentina? Do you get many toys at retail stores or do you buy most over the internet?

That's a great collection Tom,love the way you've blended brands together in your DC figs. And that JLU collection is mighty impressive,i don't know how you JLU collectors manage it.

One of my favourite things to see in people's collections is what they collect apart from Marvel and DC stuff,it's always really varied and interesting.

Hi everybody. I have updated the blog with some new Batman figures.

This is kind of embarrassing, but I don't know how to upload pics to the forum. If you explain it to me I'll put a picture here everytime I upload the others in the blog.

Sweet displays.  You've got a good variety of figures.  Love to see all the DCD and DCSH/DCUC figures all mixed together.

I've got a new favorite figure:

DC Direct's Swamp Thing.

Love it.

Check more pics in my blog:

I've gotta pick that up one day, to display with all the nice Swamp Thing hardcovers I'm going to have by the end of the year.

A beautiful figure because it's actually based on the DC statue sculpted by William Paquet. The statue is amazingly detailed with lots of little flowers, frogs, etc on the base. Mine is currently packed away in the garage Sad

I hear you. I sold my original Bowen Magneto statue (he's done two) because I didn't think there would be any new Bowen Marvel ones coming and decided to focus on DC. Sigh!

Wouldn't the correct term be 'tax write off'?
