Thanks for the replies, I really like the figure and wanted to share it.

By the way, I picked up this bad boy a few days ago.

I really like how you can display it with all the weapons. Now I got the figures of the two best assasins in the DC Universe.

More pics in my blog.

Is that the first DCD version or the DCUC? I've always thought the DCD one was a perfect sculpt but just a tad short.

Ah, ok, I love that figure. So many accessories and places to put them. One of the top DCUC figs in my book.

Yeah, he's a given I think. They could do an awesome job with him.

For sure. Just hope they throw in the unmasked head.

But that mask is so cool. You must have the mask!

By the way, new figure update. This week I found four new Ninja Turtle figures and was able to buy them, before the other three TMNT collectors in the country. Joy!

As I said in my blog, is really hard to get TMNT figures in Argentina. Most of the 'obscure' characters never reach the stores in the 80's and 90's. So the only way to get them was to know the very few places that had them (that is, had them smuggled through customs).

The best place was a toy store that specialized in American toys, the name of the store was Pity Dan’s (a fairly depressing name, now that I understand English). Most of my original collection, twenty figures or so, comes from there. The owner must have loved my dad and grandfathers.

The rest I got thanks to an even greater and an even ‘pitier’ Dan: The Internet.

More pics in my blog.

Oh, I want the mask, but I want the unmasked option too.

Great find FS. There's TNMT aplenty here in Oz so if there is anything specific you are looking for please let us know and I'm between the Aussies here we could sort you out.

Nice pick-up FS.

It's always great to come across something you really want in the toy aisle.

New figure and seven rules to cheat yourself.

I have a rule about collecting toys and is that I don't buy the same character twice in the same format. Meaning I can have a statue of Batman, and the JLU figure and an action figure, but that I won't display the 500 variations of the basically same JLU Batman.

I've made some exceptions in the past: I bought a second Scarecrow, since the first I bought had nothing to do with the comics I enjoyed. I bought a second Joker, because I had the one from Hush and I think is really really horrible and wanted to replace it. And finally I bought the Batman from JLI (I already had the one from Hush) because that particular comic book was so important to me that I want the complete series. And because "c'mon, It's Batman".

Today I saw the First Appearance Blue Beetle from Dc Direct. And I bought it.

And although I don't have a figure of this character I'm expecting the one from JLI wave 2. So I stated some rules to cheat on my own principle:

1) Is not really the same character, one is Ted Kord, the other is Jaime Reyes and they don't even share a costume.
2) It's not going to be on my DC Characters/JLA display so it won't clash with my other Blue Beetle, when I get it. But if not there, where is it going to go?
3) I really like the character of the new Blue Beetle from the Batman brave and the bold series. Actually that's the first time a paid any attention to that character.
4) I'm not going to buy the Brave and the Bold toy series, since is really hard to get in Argentina and I don't like it that much.
5) I guess I can put it with my Batman display as an homage to Brave and the Bold.
6) Yeah that sounds logical enough, let's do that!

And finally, the incredibly important rule number seven:

7) Guilt? What the hell is that?

Hah! That's great FS! A point for that brilliant logic!

I do agree with a lot of what you said though. I don't have a problem buying multiples of a character, however I'll only display one of each. So when I have my X-Men display of Marvel Legends, I choose one Wolverine to put with them, etc.

Good buy. That's a great figure from an otherwise ridiculous wave.

I love that Beetle figure.  One of my favorite DCD figures that I own.
