It's funny, as much as I hate that they killed Ted I don't hold it against Jaime. He's a great character and I miss his book - glad he's getting a backup feature at least. Somehow I think there's room for both Beetles in the DCU if/when they decide to bring Ted back.

But dead characters don't come back!

Even Aunt May came back! Aunt May!
But what happens when the character decides to stay dead, that's what Ted Kord did.
This week I got a ton of figures (Well, not a ton, ten... But you can say is a typo). 4 DCUC and 6 Dc Direct. Pictures and uploads very soon.
And to create expectations: I got a figure I've been looking for almost a year!

Looking forward to it. I assume Ted will be a Black Lantern.

Nah, she's not dead. But because of how Joe Q went about doing what he did, I wish maybe she had died.

Exactly. Not only did he orchestrate the "One More Day" story that changed continuity, but her next major appearance in the new 'Spideyverse' was as the mistreated girlfriend of some rich loser. Oh yes, Joe Q ranks highly on my list of people I'd like to be locked in a room with.

Ah, so many on that list. I'll add Garth Ennis, just because he fucked up Hellraiser (even before Keanu). And because of all the comic writers I know, I think he would put up a good fight. That's important too. In other news: My new display is growing. As I hinted (I mean, I just plain said it) in Andy's blog. I'm forming a JLI/JLE display using DCD and DCUC figures. First, DC Direct's Dr. Light from Crisis; Captain Marvel from Superman/Batman (the look on his face is perfect for the Giffen comic relief style) and Elongated Man from JLA (Again, I chose this over the Identity Crisis one because of the look on his face). Next DC Universe Classics' Mr. Miracle, Big Barda (with the helmet), Captain Atom and Metamorpho (I get this complete for an awesome price!) And finally a figure I've been searching for almost a year, almost impossible to find in Argentina (without ordering it from ebay). This one showed up in an auction in ebay-like site we have here. Hours before seeing it I lost a DCD Elongated Man (I got it later though, lucky me), so I wasn't going to take chances. You can't imagine my happiness when I realized I knew the guy selling it, I had bought things from him in the past, so I called him up and said "how much do you want to close the auction now?", He named his price (a lot less of what I was willing to offer ), and I got it. I know is kinda cheating... But I don't care. There's a group shot in my blog. www.freakstudios.blogspot.com

Great finds FS!
I'd love to see a new Dr Light II figure with her updated costume from JLA - I love it.

Let's start nice and slow: here is a pic of my Neca MOTU statues. And now... Update! Update! I'm so happy about this I couldn't wait. I finally finished my shelves for display! First a pic of the shelves before the glass doors were installed... Now after a couple months of planning, my showcase is completed, and I can't to put my figures there! Progress report: Still lots of work to do.

I second that. Mine went up in January and I do minor changes weekly and major shifts about once every three weeks.....
