For years, the answer to that question would have been my first comic collection that I amassed from 1974-1983.  i had the Bronze Age pretty well covered (including the Claremont/Cockrum/Byrne X-Men) and a pretty good chunk of the Silver Age as well.

Now it's not such a big deal as I've replaced most of it with digital copies.  In fact, I'm much happier, because the originals were a pain in the ass to store and maintain.

I kept my original Star Wars figures, but gave away everything else when I got "too old". That included all my MOTU (including Greyskull) and all my Micronauts/PowerLords.

Oh man, I didn't even think about my toys I had as a kid. When I got "too old" I also sold all of my awesome toys at rummage sales. Stupid teenager.  G.I. Joe and MOTU were the two properties that I had just about everything. What I miss most are my Joes. I sold my Joes to a kid a few years younger than me. I know that made his childhood and it felt really good to help him out, but I would give up that "warm feeling" in a heartbeat to have all my collection back.

Definitely my New Mutants #98. First appearance of Deadpool, Domino, and Gideon. I sold it for well under what it's worth. But that's not why I regret selling it. It was mine for like 20 years, and now it's just gone.    Sad

I know how you feel. In 2006 my wife and I decided to become professional travelers and lived in different cities in California 3-6 mos. at a time. For a while I was lugging around all my comic books and putting them into public storage. After a few years of doing this I got tired of carrying them around (comics are heavier than action figures.)So I gave them to a friend. I had all of the New Mutants and I had the first appearance of Hellboy in there and other cool stuff. Oh well such is life.

Oh my, moving every few months just because sounds horrible, but then im pretty much housebound these days so what do I know.

At first it was real fun but after 6 years of moving place to place it got old. Luckily I was able to save enough money to finally settle down and open my own business.  If you don't mind me asking. Are you housebound because of a disability? I hope that is not the case. I hope your case is like mine. I am semi-retired and pretty much housebound these days as well.

No regrets about anything I've sold as they've helped me with real life stuff.  Thumbs Up

Stuff I didn't keep from childhood: Star Trek Mego and Super Powers Hall of Justice - those I have some regret pangs about.

I was all over that line but sold them off. I do wish that I had kept the blue/grey Batman and Robin though.
