Fine with me, I don't participate on Matty, so feel free to run long in the support group!!! Cheesy

I'm not a member on the Matty forums...at least I don't think I ever signed up. You know how I tend to forget these things....  think.gif

I've had a Love/Hate relationship with this line from day one.

-Horrible, arrogant fans
-Terrible website experiences
-Often, ridiculous eBay prices
-MOTUC gets shown all the TLC while MATTEL barely acknowledged DC

DC who?

Kidding!

I'm already missing DCUC. Just one more figure for me.  Undecided

I had been cherry-picking, just under two dozen figs, a Windraider, Weapons Rack, Weapons Pack, stands, Battle Cat & Swiftwind.  Then Big Lots happened just as I was finally getting some money (most of which was supposed to go to statues, video games, books and graphic novels).  I still got some of that, but I couldn't pass up:

Megator & Mo-Larr for $10 each at BL.
Carnivus for $5.50 and Tytus for $10 at the Mattel B&M store.

That led to these at BL:
Clawful
Count Marzo
Faceless One
Grizzlor
Icarius
Man-E-Faces
Moss Man (unflocked)
Sy-Klone

Fighting Foe-Men for $37 shipped.

Trades of BL Figs for Orko, Snout Spout and Demo Man.

Draego-Man as a thank you for hooking up a nice Canadian with a bunch of GB & Motuc from BL.

Then they had Power-Con about a mile from me, which led to:
Strobo for $25
Mer-Man for $25
Tri-Klops for $30
Battleground Evil-Lyn plus cash for 2 of my BL Figs.
King Randor Filmation plus cash for 3 of my BL Figs.
Subternia map for $10

Castaspella & Shokoti in the August sale

Batros, Stratos and 2 Jet Sled's with Sky High in the September sale

And a large trade for:
Bow
Eternian Palace Guards
Horde Prime
Octavia
Star Sisters

So 35-36 figs (depending on if you count the Palace Guards as 1 or 2).  I'm not done yet either.  I have several older figs to pick-up, like Man-At-Arms, Beast Man, Ram Man, Trap Jaw and King Randor I.  These were all fair to good deals and I can't regret them, but still, it's crazy to list them all and see that my collection has grown so much in less than 3 months.  I can definitely relate to Jase & Stars.

In fairness MOTU is mattels own product while DC is a licensed product. It makes sense that Mattel would put more into brand building motu than DC ( or ghostbusters , voltron ect ect )
And on the Mattel site Matty collector MOTU is there big ( and now kinda only ) gun sales wise. It's makes marketing sense to pump you big gun.

Look at dc comics internal advertising as an example of this. In house adds will always favour the big guns ( batman superman justice league) . Because research show that add space will help sell more batman books then that same add space will sell simon dark or pandora .

2 Jet Sled's with Sky High in the September sale

Any chance you'd sell one of the Sky High figures? Just looking for the figure, not the sled.

If I do, I'll let you know.  For now I'm finding it strangely difficult.  I know he's not supposed to be an army builder, or air force builder, but I keep wanting to make him one, or place other heads on him to make it look like other characters, like the Palace Guard, are using the armor.  Until I come to my senses, I can't let him go, sorry.

You get one too.... moon.gif

Love that icon!

Anyway, I will explain further.  For Extendar, I require something like what Mekaneck got.  A long piece that could make him really tall would be fine.  But the Nitelicker said something about Extendar and Tallstar being basically the same.  If they do it like that, it will suck balls.

The only thing I got out of your post was something about an ass, something extending, a licker, and sucking balls.   naughty.gif
