Bought my first Marvel mini-bust yesterday.  Got the Giant Man bust with little wasp on his shoulder.  Gonna stick with Avengers.  Got a question.  How deep into the Avengers do the mini-busts go?  Do characters like Swordsman or Captain Marvel II have a bust?  Is there a website with a checklist anywhere?

The Bowen Designs website has a full rundown of past pieces:

http://bowendesigns.com/category/marvel_products.aspx

It goes very deep - no Swordsman or Monica yet, but there is Stingray, Crystal, Hellcat etc etc

Welcome to the slippery slope!!

Thanks for the link.   How often do they release new busts?

Whenever they can work the little hook-thingies in the back.  naughty.gif

 Cheesy

Nice one.

To answer, it does vary a bit. Not only does it depend on where Bowen is in terms of Phase/Contract, but the actual production schedule can be a bit iffy.

My Giant Man bust came today.  Super impressed.  Got my eye on my next one.  Can't believe how cheap some of these are on ebay. So Scotty which one is your favorite?

I gave a good home to one of Scotty's unwanted Bowen's. I sometimes think about others.

Has he always been Marvel exclusive?  U.S.Agent on the way.

No. Before the Marvel thing got underway, he was doing stuff for DC and Dark Horse amongst others. Remember Seinfeld's Superman statue? He's done stuff like Hellboy and Grendel too.

Oh wow I never knew thr superman statue from Seinfeld was by him.  Very fun fact.

He managed a couple before moving on. There's also the Batman on gargoyle statue.

There's also other Bowen stuff out there too, such as the Wolverine on Sentinel statue that was released By (from memory "Creative" or "Moore") and was sculpted by Bowen before he started his own company.

Check out ep 50 of the AFB Podcast for our interview with Randy. It's fun stuff until he and Scotty gang up on me regarding Shang-Chi.
