Always Optimistic what are some of the rumored pieces for the next phase? Really hoping for some more classic Avengers in the bust line, like Captain Marvel II, and Swordsman.
Well, assuming there aren't a change of plans, and that Marvel/Disney doesn't veto anything (which they've apparently done before) then we still hadn't heard as much about busts. I'm sure that he'll continue to make some, but much of the discussion is usually on the full size statues. And it actually sounds very likely that he'll try to make both of those as statues (Captain Marvel II/Photon has an especially vocal fanbase). Other absent Avengers like Wonder Man & Mockingbird are slated too, along with some more Thor pieces and filling in X-Men, such as Rachel Summers, Shadowcat, probably another Nightcrawler, Jubilee, Spiral, etc.
Busts had been a lower priority last phase, though a lot of that Randy attributed to the cost of materials and how they have evolved to be more elaborate, with arms, more of the body, etc. That resulted in their being a higher msrp and I think at least some buyers transitioned to full-size statues. Now that oil has gone down, maybe there'll be more in the next phase?
