I hate the fact that the industry claims the lives of its stars so young.

Not sure it's "the industry" in this case.  She hadn't wrestled in years.  Sounds like she had a substance problem even before she entered the WWF.  And I'm assuming that's what the cause of death is.

The roids she undoubtedly took during her time with the company certainly couldn't have helped. And by "the industry" I really mean those who perform, moreso than the companies that promote it.

Whatever the cause, people in professional wrestling have a tendency to die young. There's no denying it.

I haven't watched WWE since last summer, but I don't think I could stomach watching them praise Chyna come monday for all her accomplishments after death while they have been avoiding her cries of help for years.

Yeah.  I'm never surprised to hear a wrestler or a pornstar has died.  And she was both.

We really don't know what happened though.  Vince can be a huge self serving prick most of the time.  But Kimmel Prime from back on the 'Mess told me that Vince does try very hard to help out guys behind the scenes.  Whether or not they are on the current roster.  He gets them into rehab, pays some expenses, medical, etc.  But you can't help people who don't want to be helped or don't want to change.  Dunno if Joanie was like that or not.

And not for nothing, this is his son in law's ex.  Sensitive subject all around.

There's Chyna's real problem with WWE. Not Vince.

My wife met her a month or two back. Was very cool to her, but was also incredibly high. Then this past Wrestlecon she no-showed and the reason given to her ticket holders, was she was too high on pills to even get on the plane. So no matter what they say, drugs were definitely a contributing factor. But yeah, I'm sure now that she's dead WWE will try to grab as much cash from her as they can.

She'll probably be the female HoF inductee next year.

The prescription drug epidemic in the US is appalling. Why doesn't the Government start there rather than chase cartel members moving some blow?

Generally pharmacists don't carry AKs-47s.

I caved and preordered Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens from Ringside. I hate RSC, but it was like $27 each shipped, which isn't bad considering how early I'll get them and that I won't drive around like crazy looking for them (because I know I would have, they're the first figures in a while that I really want.)

Things have started, but it's one of many, many initiatives started (and continually changing) over the last few years trying to fix one of the many, many things broken with the system.

And also AK's and lobbyists.

Finally spotted I.R.S. in the wild yesterday.  A black paint splotch on the white shirt and the horrible suspenders kept me from buying him.
