Losts 70s songs

Oh yeah, I knew Bang a Gong before the cover by Robert Palmer and the Power Station. Also knew Tommy James version of Mony, Mony before Billy Idol's version was released. But I've never heard of the Arrows or there version of I love Rock & Roll until very recently.

Threes of her other hits were covers as well -- Do you Wanna Touch Me, and no surprise to most people -- Crimson and Clover (another Tommy James tune) and Everyday People (by the aforementioned Robert Palmer).

Nice how that all worked out.

I didn't know Do You Wanna Touch Me.

Runaway (Del Shannon version) was covered in the 80s as a tv theme. I used to pick up on covers from time to from listening to my Mom's old 45's.

I also was talking to somebody in the last couple years that thought Proud Mary was originally a Tina Turner song and didn't know the CCR version.
