It's getting hard not to be hopeful about this.  Just saw CHANGELING, STARFIRE, and RAVEN over on CBR.  They were in street clothes, but they still looked pretty good.  They seem to be pulling out all stops for comic accuracy.  Again, let's just hope that the writing and performance is good, too.

I want to see a really good, live action interpretation of Dick Grayson ROBIN so bad that I can taste it.  Granted, he has been handled very well in loads of cartoons, but I want this to work!

I want it to works because they are going to great lengths to make the characters look like super heroes -- not soldiers in uniforms that have little similarity to what we see in comics.

Exactly, KC.  I would hate for them to go to that much trouble with the 'look' of the show, but then have the story be junk.

They just announced a live action Swamp Thing series for the new streaming network.   So far that makes Titans,  Metropolis,  and Swamp Thing for live action and Young Justice and Harley Quinn on the animated side.  This is becoming pretty ambitious.

I just want it to be good.  With DC producing it's own content for it's own streaming service, there should be no excuses for crappy product.

Please, please, please also include Marvel Unlimited-style access to comics.

God knows I'm no expert, but I've often thought that with Marvel killing it at the box office, ( and with DC not so much ), DC should focus more on TV.  Granted, there's all the CW shows, but this could be DC's version of Netflix type shows.  They could truly nail it here.

I don't own more than 2 comics with Swamp Thing in them, buy I'd be all over this show!

Doom Patrol.  Originals plus Crazy Jane and apparently Cyborg.

It sounds like there's more emphasis and more serious effort being put into TV rather than movies at this point.  I'm fine with that, as long as the stuff is decent quality.  TV is far better for character development and world building, anyway.

Got a feeling this means Cyborg movie isn't gonna happen anytime soon.

I still don't have a laptop so I can't link, but now there's a full body pic of ROBIN on CBR.  He doesn't look bad.  It's all armor-y looking, and kind of bulky, but I can deal with it as long as the performance is good and the show is well written.

Also hoping that he does all sorts of somersaults, backflips, handsprings, and is as agile as a hyperactive monkey.

I really want to see Donna Troy come to life! The closest we got was Debra Winger as Dru -- Wonder Woman's little sister-- who wore a combination of Donna's Silver Age and Bronze age garb. I did love those episode of Wonder Woman.

Well....the trailer was a mixed bag.  I loved seeing DOVE in action, but I was soooo disappointed when I heard ROBIN say "Fuck Batman."  I'm no prude, but I was like...."Really??"
