NYCC seems to be a bit closer to a "traditional" comic convention than SDCC.  However, there's still plenty of TV, movie, and game panels there as well as some toy companies.

DCC has said on Facebook that they won't be there.  Marvel Legends usually shows up with something new.  Sometimes it's the prototype of some artwork shown at SDCC.  Mattel has always hit and miss for NYCC.  Mostly, I think this is about what Marvel and DC want to reveal about their current and upcoming events.  Lots or rumors swirling at the moment.  The most interesting is a Rorschach comic written by Tom King.  Gimme.

We'll probably see the last figure from the Deadpool and Spidey waves.  Movie figs from the Black Panther wave.  Then one more each from Avengers and X-Men.  Hopefully DC Multiverse shows up.

Yep.  I'd love to see production models of the Lex wave.

Six new figures from Marvel Legends.  Nothing form DCC.  Translucent variant Ray was show for the Multiverse line.  Little from the major superhero toy lines this year.

But DC Comics came out swinging.  Milestone 2.0 with at least five new titles to start.  Vertigo relaunches next simmer with big name talent.  A crossover between the mainstream DCU and Young Animals.  They added a few new Metal spinoffs and hinted at more.  Doomsday Clock might very well change the medium.  And as a capper, they announced a new Inferior Five title by Giffen and Lemire.  No clue what Marvel announced.
