The Detective Comics cover shown in the article is, I believe, my first Batman comic and where I first fell in love with the Tim Drake costume.

Correction: It was Batman 465.

I recall him working on First Comics' Whisper -- long before he worked at DC. I daresay one of his biggest stories was the Mud Pack 4-parter featuring all of the Clayfaces. Fun stuff.
