This is my top 50 from the Fwoosh. As I explained there, this isn't a wish list, but characters I think Todd could crush based on his interests and past figures he's produced. Monsters, warriors, aliens, and gods, etc. Although I think he can do straight superheroes, these freaks and whatnot are more in his wheelhouse based on 25 years of making figures. Horror, Sci-Fi, Mythology, and Fantasy are the themes that have driven him. These 50+ would help push that. Batman. Lets just get that out of the way. Now onward: 1) Solomon Grundy 2) Man-Bat 3) Wonder Woman 4) Hawkman/Hawkgirl 5) Aquaman hook and beard 6) Martian Manhunter 7) OMAC Buddy Blank/Kevin Kho variant 8. King Shark 9) Creeper 10)Swamp Thing 11)Frankenstein (Seven Soldiers) 12)Demon 13)Mongul 14)Parasite 14)Grodd 15)Joker 16)Claw 17)Warlord 18)Amethyst 19)Starfire 20)Adam Strange 21)I...Vampire/Andrew Bennett. Original look where he dressed like a European Count. 22)Shaggy Man/General variant 23)Cyborg classic/modern variant 24)Darkseid 25)Deathstroke 26)Doomsday 27)Rogol Zaar 28)Black Adam 29)Vandal Savage 30)Shade from Starman 31)Zod 32)Croc 33)Deadman 34)Captain Comet 35)Upside Down Man 36)Nightmaster/Detective Chimp pack-in. 37)Blockbuster 38)Bane 39)Manhunter Simonson version 40)Kilowog 41)Chemo 42)Starro Deluxe figure 43)Batman Who Laughs 44)Validus 45)Damage II 46)Metamorpho 47)Clayface 48)Mr. Bones/Black Terror costume 49)Talia Al Ghul 50)Spectre Some Honorable Mentions: Jemm Faceless Hunter of Saturn Katana Bronze Tiger Rick Flagg/Steve Trevor variant. Heavily armed. All comic styled. Goes without saying.

Sweet Jeebus. I would die if he made WARLORD and CLAW!
I love how non-mainstream that list is. That is a LOT of visually interesting characters.

That was my intention, to mine for the visually interesting. But it's still pretty mainstream. Out of all 61, 41 have been made in six inch scale at least once by either DCD/DCC or Mattel since 1999.
As for the 20 that haven't been made, I can see Amethyst, Rogol Zaar, Talia, Batman Who Laughs, and maybe the Upside Down Man get made.
I just think these would be fun based on Todd's previous production.

I don't think under Todd we will see batman or superman until a good number of waves hit, with post 52 designs.definitely batman who laughs and others from Metal. His take on Doom Patrol would be up there.Batman's Rogues Gallery.

You guys are way too optimistic about this line.
I’m still content with my DCUC collection. There will never be another line close to it. If we can get a few one off pieces that stylistically mix, like a Granny Goodness, I’ll grab them. But this is just going to be more of the same that we saw from Mattel, just executed differently.

I'm not really interested in redos of the entire DCU. I'm not saying that a figure should NOT be done again just because it was done so well for DCUC, but I'm not about to buy another Elasti-Girl or camo Aquaman when the ones I have are great.
I think we will probably see some classic figures that have never been done. I'd love to see Teen Titans handled properly -- Mattel really effed that up -- despite giving us a few good Titans. And if McFarlane could do Legion -with a better proportion of female to male figures (instead of the lousy 1 to 11 that Mattel gave us), I'd be in for redos of the entire Legion. Honestly, these two franchises deserved a lot better than what they got.
I would think that stuff like Warlord and Creeper would be right up Todd's alley.

As a comic fan I'm keen to see how much Todd pushes against the decisions of DC. I wonder if he'll be working with good people who can see beyond the big three over and over again?

If Gard is right ( no reason to think he's not ) and nobody else wanted the DC license, I would think he has a lot of leeway. That fact, combined with Todd's love of Fantasy and Monster characters should lead to good things.
But at the same time, if I had a nickel for every time I misjudged DC/WBs actions....I'd be rich.

Dude, there’s no reason to believe I am right. All I know is as a former Spawn collector, some of the stuff he put out was some sick shit. In a good way. He had his share of problems, but great looking sculpts weren’t one. I really do hope he gets to Warlord, Man-Bat, Creeper, Frankenstein, Swamp Thing, and the rest, but DC is ramping up its TV and movie production so there will be lots of live action figures. Comic figures may take a back seat.

Comic figures may take a back seat. Entirely possible. Like I've said, due to my own personal tastes, I've been let down by DC/WB time and time again. Todd may end up putting out some truly incredible Movie figures, but I don't want Movie, TV, or Video Game crap. Not even if it was free. Nevertheless, I guess it will be interesting to see where this goes.

No doubt. As someone who only wants comic figures too, we’re in the same boat. Don’t know yet if it’s sinking. I see one of four scenarios emerging for me personally:
1) Everything is so good and cool looking, I go all in and essentially start over.
2) Todd gets most everything right and I cherry pick supplementing my current DCUC/Mutiverse collection. Picking up never been dones and replacing key favorites with better versions.
3) Todd get it mostly wrong and I cherry pick oversized figures the way some people add Marvel Select to Marvel Legends with characters like Watcher, Hulk, Mephisto, Juggernaut, etc.
4) Worst case scenario and Todd gets it all wrong, and I’m done. At which point I probably sell off the bulk of my collection only keeping JSA, Kirby stuff, and a few more.
We’ve got three and a half months to SDCC and about six months to NYCC. Gonna be a long wait.

Some of those will look cool, but it seems like he's not going for "waves."
