I only have Bats so far, with Supes & the armors arriving tomorrow. Gotta say I'm liking Bats a lot. Love the unique sculpted details & man, this dude is SOLID. I hate the scale change, but I was always sure Todd was gonna do his own thing. I hated to hear when he got the license, but he's definitely changed my mind. No need to go all in, but I'll definitely be in for a few.

I'll cherry pick too. But then that's I've been doing since DCUC ended.

Finally had a chance at playing with the armors today. I know I doubted Todd, but these are amazing. 20 bones for what amounts to a highly detailed BaF/CnC. Definitely a homerun for the change. If you got extra impulse money, these guys are the ticket. Like Supes & Bats? Get em. Like big badass robot type figs? Get em. I've been collecting DC for a while (as have most of you) & these are some of the most substantial? figures we've ever gotten. Even the regular figures are hefty chunks of plastic & the armors step it up another level. Can't say enough about the quality of the plastic & how well put together the joints are. This is what DCD should've evolved into.

I'm still waiting on the Armor figs, but I got comic Bats, Supes, BWL, Batgirl, Nightwing, and the Raptor. What Josey said is true for every one of the figs I have. The quality/value ratio is great.

Does anybody know if the Harley Quinn is supposed to be a comic version or an animated version? Her face looks kind of animated, but the proportions of her body have a classic comic element to them. The packaging doesn't really help because it says Harley Quinn classic like it is referring to the comics......but... .the could be classic animation too. O I've picked up Comic Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Batman who laughs as well at the Raptor. These are my first ever DC figures (well collectible ones anyway. I did have a ton of Batman stuff from the Tim Burton movies when I was a kid in the 90s)

Best I can tell, he tried to split the difference with Harley. Some of both comic and toon.

I've not gotten the Harley for my comic-based collection. The head is so clearly animated that it sticks out.

Thanks guys. Yeah I'd say it looks pretty cartoony too. It's Harley Quinn so there will be at least 13 more versions before McFarlane loses the license. I think I'll wait on her. My comic store posted that the comic Superman figure came in yesterday so that will about do it for me. I do want to check out the armored characters in person before deciding.

Pics of chase figures starting to show up. Comic Bats in blue with oval & capsule belt. Head is the same. Also toon Bats in blue. I've passed him up so far, but dunno if I could skip him in blue.

And of course after seeing the movie I went out and bought her. Her head is too large, almost like she's wearing a helmet with a static face. My only other observation is she's kind of hard to use with the stand. Otherwise, another solid figure from this lovable line.

Interesting that there's no thigh cut joint. I wonder of the leg rotates at the hip instead?

If it's like the others, I would assume so. Unless the females are designed differently. Wonder if we'll get any surprises Saturday? I ain't expecting Warlord or Ragman, but something like Hawkman or Dr Fate would be cool.

Hip joints definitely rotate. Some more successfully than others depending on what type of diaper situation is going on.
