This is a line of figures I call Fossil-Formers. I love 80s toys and a lot of my figures are supposed to look like the could have been a cheap knock-off line of that time. In this case the figures are a mix of Transformers, Rock Lords and Sectaurs.
After a meteorite harboring an alien techno virus crashes on a far away planet its evolution takes a different turn. The animals in the ocean evolve into techno organic humanoids who maintain the ability to transform back into their original form. But war also finds this world. The evil Trilobites overthrow the peaceful kingdom of the Horseshoe Crabs devastating the planet's water resources in the process. Now in this barren new world a small group of freedom fighters continues to face the evil Trilobite Order. Will the discovery of ancient technology from before the war turn the battle?
I made 4 inch and 2.8 inch versions of the figures. Made in Modo. Printed on a Form2. Painted by me.

action figures, transformers, 3D printing, knock off toys, custom toys,

Here are some more figures for my fossil formers line. I tried to stay true to make this line look like some knock off line from the 80s. So I did a lot of parts sharing. Then new female versions of the horseshoe crab and trilobite use the same lower body then the male figures. Since 80s toys were known for their vehicles I also added a Mechsuit for the horseshoe crabs to fight in. I hope to do a vehicle for the trillobites at some point as well. Finally I added an evil overlord to the trilobites by making a new head for the male trilobite body. These figures were all done in 2.8 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2 with durable resin. Painted by me.

I made some jetsleds for my 3D printed fossil formers action figures. They work in both the humanoid and the crab modes. They can also be used as shields. Sculpted and designed by me. To make more characters I added some new head sculpts as well.Creating new characters by just changing the heads keeps in line with the theme that these guys are supposed to look like a cheap knock-off line from the 80s.:-) 2.8 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2.
