Yup, Kang was there in the first series (one of my favourites with Mike Zeck art!).
From memory, other series possibilities not already selected would be...

She Hulk, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Captain Marvel (Monica), Wasp, Prof X, Lockheed (can't recall if Kitty was there)
Lizard, Molecule Man (drops the mountain on our heroes) and even a cameo by Galactus!
