Cool! Pricey? Not bad. They still had the whole set there but the QC was absolutely dodgy and I got the only decent ones.

My gf bought me the Torch/Wolvie and Piledriver/Spidey yesterday at TRU. Didn't have Klaw. They were $2 higher than Target there. Currently turning an extra Cap I got into Swordsman.

Y'know I just can't seem to get enthusiastic about this line. I have S1 and S2 and just haven't been enthused to chase the rest. The debacle with stuff like Nick Fury doesn't help.

Fair enough. If I had a near-complete Marvel Legends collection I wouldn't be able to take these on board. I only ever cherry picked ML so this feels like a chance to get on the ground floor of a Marvel line. As I said in this post the QC on the Secret Wars figs is pretty haphazard, so I'm sure hoping that's not a trend.

I would have preferred more MLs, but I got in during the death of the line. The MU figures are okay (most are alright) so I'm chasing them fairly hotly. I just get shitty with things like Nick Fury, and the difficulty tacking down the exclusives for a decent price (though that happened with ML to). I don't get why they don't drop the whole exclusives thing as far as Target and TRU as well. It basically hoses any non-USA countries from getting them at all. I'd love to see the numbers that make that worthwhile...

I think essentially the stores demand their own exclusives in exchange for carrying the line, so the toy companies are a bit bound in that sense. I agree, it sucks. The Nick Fury thing is a joke.

Got my Giant Battles ones from eBay (shipping took a month) today. Key issues are the 12" scale guys look a bit scrawny compared to the ML BAFs, but I'll see how they go when I set them free, and add Bucky to my burgeoning 3 3/4" collection.
