New stuff 18/09/14

Pretty exciting stuff at the Fishpond. After many years of waiting and hoping I finally got some kickass display cabinets.
Mrs 'shake was the catalyst suggesting I need something bigger to display my 'stuff'.

The units are 2 metres tall and best of all have fully adjustable shelves due to a rail system in each corner that allows you to position the shelf mount anywhere you like.

*Small world problem alert* Those premium format statues are bigger than I thought.

...and at night with the lights on.

************************************************************************

Finally got my Sideshow 'Rogue' statue! Huzzah! Man, I love this piece. My favourite female superhero as presented by Adam Hughes. Bless the man!

....and just a fun one. I'm also looking for the Batman "Just Us League" figure too if you've seen it anywhere for a reasonable price.

Man that Rogue is hot! Adam Hughes is either a genius, or the most stereotypical man I have heard of...

Genius!!!!!

I once saw some photos of him using a model for reference and let's just say I'd love his day job!

Yeah, I love the Batman because he's kinda tripping on the cape  Smiley

Thanks dude! Just had to go make sure it was still there. Really regretting missing out on the White Queen though.
My birthday rocked! I haven't worked on my birthday in a decade (some would say that's no different to any other day). I always take the day off and do whatever I like.

Just wasn't a fan of the Series 1 Marvel Legends Hulk figure and managed to score the Sal Buscema inspired one from the Face-Off series. BigRaj is right, this version is just spot on!

Oh and the Red Skull finally! Managed to score it for a steal!

Whoa, that really is quite a nice figure.

You got some special photography going on there FMS?

There's actually two. This version came with the 'modern' Leader. There's a version where he's enraged and it came with the 'classic' Leader. Same body though.

Nah! Just whatever I can find at the time. I do plan on making more of an effort when my first custom is done (almost there). First is to diffuse the light so there's no shadows and second is to provide enough light that I don't need to rely on the camer a flash.
