Independence Day?
I think I have an alien somewhere.  I bought it before I saw the movie...

100% correct. The toy commercial doesn't fit the tone of the film to me though.

I agree, and it threw me off at first, but I kept circling back to the bursting skulls.

Nice job, kalzor!

It's kind of a misnomer since the "skull" is actually a sort of battle suit. The commercial sounds very Power Rangery to me.

Thanks Smiley  And well done, HB.

I always found it weird that the mechanical suits were organic inside, but it was kinda cool. I just remember the local walmart constantly playing the trailer on a loop in front of their toy display.

I'm having flashbacks.
If I look through my viewfinder I see Episode #191...

You were correct, John.  #191's Name That was the catalog description.

As for #235?  Have at it gear heads, I'm stumped.

Ha! I had to ponder it for a bit myself. I need to start writing these down somewhere on my phone because I can't remember them when the show comes out.

In a world...(Just kidding, no voice over work for me.  Although you guys have heard my voice before on an anniversary show...)

So, is this for those Avengers Playmation toys that were a bust for Hasbro?
Or possibly the electronic Titan figures???

Bingo!

I liked the idea of those playmation figures. Marketing them would have been better in the toy aisle than game section though.

I agree.  They had zero on-screen, video game component; correct?
People will not even touch them on clearance at my Target.  I think Hulk is down to $1.48...

Is that a Kre-O piece like you would use to attach a scope or grenade launcher to a gun?

Looks suspiciously like a Micronauts piece. Maybe Acroyear's foot?
