Goes to show it's always worth checking them out for the odd random bargain. Remember they has those iffy ML 2-packs a while back for cheap (which then went on to go for event cheaper at TRU).

I wonder what their distribution channel is?

Bummer. I was at my nearest Hobbyco on the weekend and they had none, let alone on special.

Yes, I always make a point of going to the QVB Hobbyco when I'm up there, because you never know what they might have. I've seen a fair bit of Hasrbo Marvel stuff there that hasn't shown up at retail here.

My dream was to find some of the ML 2-packs at ALDI. Preferably the SHIELD/Hand Ninja 2-pack. Never happened.

Hobbyco at the QVB is good value. It's where I go to get my Gunje Sangyo paints.

What do you use those paints for specifically?

They're my 'main' paints. I use those over Games Workshop, Humbrol or Tamiya, etc. I just find they have a richer pigment than GW paints and they need very minor thinning to go through the airbrush. I read somewhere they went out of business so I'm nervous about going into the QVB store in case they're gone  :'( I'd give Testors Model Masters a try based on Stars recommendation but I've not found them in Oz.
