Back on track. Watched Horrible Bosses and Rocknrolla. Both solid movies with lots of laughs. There are things my wife and I still discussing with Horrible Bosses. I watched Rocknrolla on my own this evening and really enjoy Guy Ritchie's movies. I do wonder if this is a trilogy and whether we'll eventually see a sequel to it? Going to finally check out the 2nd Harold & Kumar and The Dark Knight Returns next. One has to wonder why DC(WB) can get their animated movies right, but not their live action. Really hoping that the new Superman breaks that, but with Nolan involved I have my doubts.

Actually, no "we" didn't, because as "we" said in our previous post I was keeping away from spoilers and any intel on the movie. The movie hasn't been out a week and I don't think it would have been too much to ask if folks used the spoiler tags to prevent ruining the movie experience for those who can't make it on opening night. So while it might not be a big deal to you, it is to me.

Hmmm...wonder if they're ignoring the second one? Feels more like a sequel to Pitch Black than the 2nd one doesn't it? Still, I'd like to see where they take him. The first was a fun ride.

Well fuck! I haven't seen the new Trek movie and thought I'd been doing a great job staying spoiler free cursing.gif

I believe it was? Whomever did the visual effects should be hired when they get around to a Dead Space movie. Having just played that game, I'd love to see them do a movie of it. Watched Justice League: Doom last night and really liked it. I haven't read the comic adaption, but thought the voice acting was spot on(as usual). Going to try and catch up on some of my streaming the next couple of days.

Well, to be fair Scott I've been trying my best to stay away from spoilers when it comes to this and several movies lately. What I've read has been mainly on the Facebook page, but I tend to stay away from the trailers and missed that it was after The Avengers. So it will be interesting to see how they explain things once the series starts.

Me too gabs. I'm to the point of just hiring someone to actually make me a custom of her. Then again, I did eventually track down a unmasked Wolverine figure. So maybe we'll get lucky.

Safeway here is a grocery store and has a little section for toys.

I don't know if that is true Shake. I've actually heard this is during the phase 1 timeline. Honestly, I'd like him to come back as Vision in the future. I thought that would be a clever way to bring him back to the fold, but I could be alone.

Watched Silent Hill last night and what a mess that was. Not really sure they knew what to do with this and poor Sean Bean was a waste.

Well, if it was back in the day I'd say in the fall, but who knows with the way tv shows hardly do repeats anymore. Still, I'm beating on fall because that will be after SDCC. Looks great and love that actor. He was one of the many highlights of The Adventures of Old Christine.

I'm really doing my best to resist this line, but that Boba Fett is too good to pass up. Really hope the final product looks as good as the proto.

I actually found the Matty JLU Justice Guild at a Tuesday Mornings a few days ago. Has anyone else seen some of the Matty stuff at discount outlets? I'm trying to find the remaining sets I need, but $8 + tax is much better than $30 + tax & shipping.

So I've been on a streaming kick lately and watched Tomorrow Never Dies, Bernie and Nacho Libre. Bernie's kind of stuck between a suck sandwich. Based on a true story I had apprehensions on watching Jack Black play it straight. Surprisingly, he pulled it off. What's funny is I was saying to my wife when watching Nacho that he's best as a supporting actor and not the main event. Turns out he just needs to have a movie where the director reigns him in a bit. The only time you see a hint of the same old Jack is occasionally when he's singing(surprise). Still, a really good movie and I recommend folks to check it out. Now onto the Bond movie. Some would say that Die Another Day is the worst Brosnan Bond, but I'd say this one is. I mean a multimedia villain? And what a waste Terri Hatcher's character was, she's barely worth the effort. I'm in the middle of The World is not Enough. Now I've seen it before, but despite Denise Richard's, it is still a solid movie for me. I also have gotten into watching the 1963 Doctor Who episodes. I started with The Aztecs via streaming and then discovered this was not in fact the 1st series. So I did a little research and had The Unearthly Child sent as one of my DVD's. Really good stuff and I've set it up to receive as many of the original episodes as I can. Sad to read that some of the episodes have been lost. The Hobbit and Taken 2 are on my next BD's to watch.

Well, if it is any consolation the only place I saw the Mystique wave was at Wal Mart quite some time ago and I'm still seeing the old wave of ML in the local Targets. So there's still a good chance they'll show up at retail.
