It does look good.....but I'm just not sold on the 'no legs' aspect. It's just....odd. It's a shame about the face because the Bolland inspired version they did was so good and that was 10 years ago. They really haven't been able to improve the process since then?

Like I said in my post, seeing as this is Bruckner I'm thinking this is a stylistic choice. It's not quite my cup of tea, but I don't think it's a quality issue, I think it's meant to look that way.

As for the "no legs thing", that's kinda the whole idea of the line.....

I gotta agree on WW,that head just doesn't work for me either. The rest of her i do like but as a package i'm not into it.
Bats is much cooler although i have issues with the top of the Cape personally. It's supposed to be flowing up and around but it's too even and looks solid in a fixed shape rather than"billowing up".

So glad you like them mate, nice review.

I've added three new DC Dynamics Statues to my collection: Supergirl, Green Lantern and Superman. I'm really happy with two of these and not so thrilled with the other.

Find out which is which at: http://www.actionfigureblues.com/2011/03/dynamic-times-three-dc-direct-supergirl.html

Enjoy!

After reading your review I completely agree on Supergirl. Not my thing, but she does look great.

When Supergirl was solicited I thought the face of the statue was the most hideous thing I'd ever seen.  I delayed reading this post because I was afraid those nightmares would resurface.

Is she that ugly?

No! She's just a girl! Read my post!

I don't care enough for the character to buy the statue, but I do like her a lot more after reading Andy's comments. As a Legion representation it really works.

I did read your post.  She was supposed to be a girl in the solicit photos too, but she was actually a beast!  A hideous, monstrous, Beast!  I'm glad she turned out better than I expected, because I don't have anything against the look of the costume, even if I personally prefer the more modern, revealing version, I think the design of the statue was great, except for the face in the solicit photos.

I recall the solicit photo being pretty average too. Could DCD be trawling the forums looking for Ryan's feedback?

Ryan, could you please go on about that scene in the Green Arrow/Black Canary Wedding Special where she's in the lingerie and how much you'd like to see her as one of the "Women of the DC Universe" statues. Thank you kindly in advance.
