I thought it would be cleaner if I just started putting all the Star Wars Reviews in one thread.

This week's featured review comes from Errex, who does another great job reviewing a Star Wars figure. This week he brings us the 4A-7 Spy Droid from the Clone Wars series. As usual, I want this figure after reading his great write up. Check it out here:

Enjoy!

Cool review. I really like the stuff that they're releasing but unfortunately the one thing that Hasbro does better than anyone else is out price. The Clone Wars and Legacy figures sell for around A$20 (US$17) in Australia which is completely unreasonable. Like Errex says, if you can find them on sale, great, but that's not always the case.

That's just plain robbery. Kind of like what happens trying to buy some of the Japanese import stuff here.

Yep,that's why i collect only the Sideshow 12" of Characters i really want. You can get great deals on them if you spend the time and shop around. And for the quality of those i don't mind the prices at all.

Errex is continuing the recent Star Wars trend with a pink skinned half naked bald girl this week. Now that I have your attention, Check out Errex's review of Leesub Sirlin, one of the bar room floozies from the Cantina.

http://tvandfilmtoys.com/index.php/2010/06/leesub-sirln/

Make sure to check out the very bottom picture, funny stuff!

 Cheesy

I think Errex made it very clear what she does for a living!

I wonder if there are people employed to sit and scan every frame of the SW films for characters that are yet to be made into figures and other merch?

They don't have to pay people. The fans do it for free.

Actually, I think the Decipher card game Errex mentioned is responsible for a good portion of the background character info.

I think Willrow Hood got his start there, and then the fans kept clamoring for him to be made.

There are SW fans that won't rest until every Cantina alien is made. For others, it's Jabba's Palace creatures.

I do like that rather than endless repaints of Vader and Luke (though they do release at least one main character per wave more or less) they just keep throwing out obscure dudes.
Hasbro needs to get around to making a new Ackbar however. I want him with elbows.

Ugh, that AUS price though, ridiculous. Especially considering they're $4.50-$5 here in my area.

It's Hasbro. I remember when Toybiz Marvel Legends were selling at Toys Rnt Us for A$15 each and then with a switch to Hasbro the next wave were A$30 each.

I think I read Ackbar is coming.

That kind of price jump is ridiculous. Did other companies jump the same or just Hasbro?
