Toys I grew up with presents: DINOZAURS

Hey guys,

Up today for your viewing pleasure is a little line from Bandai called DinoZaurs.

This line was imported from Japan in 2000 where they are known as Dinozone.

The line consisted of transforming dinosaurs, dragons and pre-historic mammals.

The offerings from this line consist of: Basics, Deluxes and boxed figures.

There were 5 boxed figures and also 5 boxed sets consisting of 2 or more figures. Out of the boxed sets, only the Ultimate Dino Styrako 3-Pack contained all new figures. The rest consisted of one or 2 re-issued figures and one or 2 new ones.

All of the Dragozaurs were repaints of the Dino Knights with the exception of Gigano Dragon, Drago Wing and Drago Draconus.

Those are some seriously cool figures. I would have thought that given the popularity (and absence of at the time) of the Transformers they might have been more popular. But like Tyroc I've never heard of them. Pretty decent line-up too.

Jeez Stars, it must be frustrating missing that one fig?

Actually, I don't have a handful of the Dragozaurs, because they are simple recolors of the existing Dino Knights. However, the only mold I don't have is that damn Drago Wing. He wasn't released as a Dino, just as a Drago, so yeah, it kinda sucks.

Very good Stars,seems like a huge line that should have has mass appeal.Shiny,lots of cool looking characters and definitely would catch the attention of kids.Never ceases to amaze me what people have in their collections.Great work!
