So, should we open voting on this now? I think the 2,1 vote is probably the easiest and send to Andy via a pm?

That way it's all transparent seeing as though I had an entry. Also should we leave it open for this week and see how we go.

Thanks everybody. Afro

Yep, Done.

From memory, last year FB added the votes and revealed the winner and runner up.

Yep that's what happened.Don't forget to send out a PM to all Members to get them to vote just in case some don't wander onto this Board and miss the chance. It was very close last year believe me so the more votes the better.

Sorry guys. I got hit with a bigtime case of burnout and just couldn't stand another custom. I put my commissions on hold as well as this comp and the comp on another board.

Back in the game now though so next time I'm in for sure!

Fastbak - EXCELLENT color and coverage. Zero flaws as far as I can tell. Perfect base choice. If I cared about the character at all, I'd buy it.

Tarantula - Great flocking and odd character selection. As far as the details go, it is dead-on, but the head choice seems wrong here. Perfect in all other regards!

Granny Goodness - Excellent choice and the exceptional craftsmanship we've come to expect from Jack. The colors are great, but I think it needs a wash or a drybrush on the scales to bring out more Kirby-esque detail. Otherwise this is a perfect figure.

Tiger Man - Great use of color! Really digging the paints and drybrush on the blue and orange. Perfect stripes. Awesome headsculpt! I really like this guy.

Zatanna - Great colors and great parts use. Color is a little too glossy, and the hairline needs a touch-up, but otherwise, a very good entry!

Hellstrom - PERFECT rendition. Awesome base and head choice. Removeable cape is a bonus! Too bad it's a visually boring character, but it looks perfect for all that.

Voting is gonna be a bitch... thud.gif

The guy walks the streets bare chested but with a big red cape and a pitchfork....I thought that was pure 70s kitsch?  Undecided

Voted.  Smiley

In looking at them again; I'm really impressed with the level of paint texturing on NiteOwl's tiger guy. Awesome work there.
