Hey NiteOwl, Andy told me about this. I am kind of on hiatus from customizing right now, but if there is any other way I can participate, judging, researching, etc., I would be more than happy to help. Let me know.

Thanks fp, any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

I found my base figure and a coveted add-on piece.

Very excited.  It's meant to be a final surprise after 10 weeks, no peeking?

Yes Doc, big reveal after the 10 week comp. We usually just send the pics to Andy's pm.

Previous comps have run that way. Don't know what the feeling is now, or what is considered "good form".

I think the surprise element still works best. I like the idea of clicking on a link to see all the submissions without knowing what they are beforehand.
From memory, there is the option to add w.i.p pics with your final submission, but most folks generally do that in their custom thread after the comp anyway.

No problem- I like the surprise!   I have my pieces and can start in Sept.  I picked a goal that will be realistic for 10 weeks and is a figure I really want.

We just need a few more people to sign up!

If we get the comp all "official" and then get the graphics done, etc, we can post it all over the place

Y'all should send a link to the Jack Kirby Museum and Research Center.
